Probably one of the most fun shooters I have ever played, even with its flaws
Really good story
I have recurrent wet dreams of an high budget remake in Source 2
Shove them into the EYE/EYE/maps folder
cm_cu maps are accessible through the same way custom mission in the base game are.
They shouldn't alter anything around saves.
Rework of the research system, maybe. I absolutely fricking love passive bonuses and am always in favor of more of them and more systems that provide them, but using real-time waiting times is ass
Enemy and map variety, maybe using Warframe/Darktide system that randomizes "blocks" of maps and obectives while still having rules and curated level design
That's a must
Hub maps also for bases and towns with more RPG/Deus Ex style elements
better maps and enemy placement
better AI and enemy behavior
make the research and character progression a bit less obscured and number crunching
I'd be fine with just the first two.
Tried to play the google translated bullshit on launch, didn't like it. Tried it again later when there was a real tl, didn't get very far.
Installed it earlier this year and I got to the second mission and rage quit at the infinitely respawning enemies. I was playing on normal and then easy and kept getting fricking murdered every time I was trying to hack this street terminal that's one of the main objectives. Fricking shotgun ninjas, snipers and those damn drones just get all the way up your ass even if you clear out the area first.
Yeah you basically set up the mission to be as hard as you want. Remember there is also a setting for how many enemies spawn, not just the difficulty setting itself
I recommend starting with the minigun, it's basically a free trash enemy remover to get familair with the game
Also, the bad translation is a meme. The game's just insane in general, but it's not hard to understand the actual prose
it was probably the hacking more than the enemies that made you quit, I mean you should be hiding out of sight while hacking, but the hacking game is really fricking annoying until you figure out a working strategy.
It's a wonderful box of subverted expectations and surprises when it comes to gameplay mechanics and the depth of creativity to stuff as many diverse mechanics as possible into a game, one which JJ Abrams wishes he was capable of designing with the movie medium.
So that alone gets a giant thumbs up for me.
If nothing else, EYE Divine Cybermancy should be mandatory research by devs opting to develop FPS games with RPG elements.
It's a library of good ideas regardless of the chaotic and buggy nature of it.
Levels are messy to the point where it almost ruins the game, but the atmosphere, weapons, and skill options are all stellar. Though the sheer openness of every level really gives the game a great sense of freedom, some of the enemy balance works directly against it. Personally I think the game's strongest saving grace is actually the story that finally comes together once you get every ending, if only because it's so poignant and tragic that it elevates any suffering you might have experienced with the game prior. It also gives you something to think about too, beyond how fun it is to simply run and gun swat goons.
Personally I think Hired Gun is the better game, even if it's not as repayable and you basically end up spamming every fricking skill in rapid succession, but I'd agree it's nowhere as memorable or unique.

Eh... it's shallow in many parts, and not much less jankier than EYE >Is Spacehulk worth a playthrough at all?
It feel like an overglorified tech demo and is very repetitive
It's weird to explain
It has solid tech and enviroements but it feels like they built a template for a few mission rather than an actual full fledged vidya

Space Hulk has amazing atmosphere and the aesthetic is 40k as it should be but that's about where the good things about the game end. Might be worth it if you can lure 3 friends to play it in coop because everything is more fun in coop. The singleplayer bored me.

Started my first run yesterday. I still fail in the new vegas mission with those snipers. Any help/tips? Maybe for the best character built to start with.
It's my favourite game.
World is big and empty.
Janky
Bad translation
Poorly designed
Everything is a mess
I love it
This.
I'm french and I played it in english to see what people were talking about and the translation is fine.
There hasnt been a better fps yet.
Bretty good, would like a sequel but timeline is far too depraved to give us anything good.
my legs are not ok
I honestly never understood why people enjoy the bearkiller so much
For me? It's super heavy armor and just spraying with the minigun
how does that do against a deus ex
Absolutely fine, gotta shoot it for a bit
>I don't get how people enjoy a stylish big ass cyberpunk revolver that lets you larp as space gunslinger
Love it, Mapping for it is pretty painful
Probably one of the most fun shooters I have ever played, even with its flaws

How do you install the custom maps fron the Mega? Are they compatible with saves?
Shove them into the EYE/EYE/maps folder
cm_cu maps are accessible through the same way custom mission in the base game are.
They shouldn't alter anything around saves.
Thanks mentor
Where's the mega ?
Cool game, base is way too big.
Lmao anyone who complains of map size is a confirmed leglet
it was fun but I've had my fill with it over the decade.
wen will there be another game as good
I think Necromunda is just as good
Nah
It's ok, but too streamlined and doesn't even compare to EYE
not quite as good as cruelty squad but pretty damn close
bamp
love the aesthetics, love the atmosphere, sadly too much of a sperg to actually get into it.
What would you want from a sequel?
More enemy variety would be a must.

When the game was released it was machine translated.
I'm pretty sure that I uninstalled, one day in the future I will give it another try

It is good apart from the abandoned laboratory level which is flat out bad

Why are they trying so hard to be both israeli and japanese at the same time?
I don't know what's going on but I jump good and far, so based.

So Ganker?
For me, it's YCИAMЯE8ERMANY.

Hard to get into, but fun once it clicks.
Just make sure your legs are okay, and don’t go making any waves.
Saving was always fricked up for me. I will have to return when I wanna do a long play or something. PVP is funny.
