I'll give she actually looks good at that angle but most of her portraits look mid at best. But then you look at the women who are all at best androgynous looking while all the men are fuqbois or 'daddies' and it's obvious this game isn't for me. Hell the only woman with boobs has a man face.
Its just personal preference at some point. mild androgyny is not necessarily woke or ugly, characters like young dante or cloud are still considered cool and not woke troony boys. I chalk most of the stylistic traits on the female characters up to the fact that the artist is a woman and so has a slightly different perspective on what is attractive. Outside the obviously woke diversity quota or the californian safe horny shit on all the men I still find the majority of the characters well designed and pretty cool.
It's because of how androgyny works. Straight women can be attracted to both masculine and feminine traits while straight men are generally only attracted to feminine traits. As such, androgynous female characters tend to not be appealing to men.
The overwhelming number of tomboy coomers tells me that mild androgyny is appealing to both men and women.

I'll say it again, even if it gets drowned out by all the moronic woke discussions, but Eris might be one of the shittiest mechanics I have ever seen. Punishing good gameplay with a run killing debuff just to force you to not miss out on character interactions and story bits is inherently shit game design. It just shows that roguelite progression that hinges entirely on you dying and proper storytelling simply don't work well together from a mechanical standpoint because they completely oppose each other.

Is it just me or are enimies way tankier in this compared to 1? Also I beat the first boss on my first run only to find out that you get cursed to take insane damage in the next area. Beating the game on the first run seems borderline impossible compared to 1 though im sure someone will do it. I also think its nice that Hecate actually comments that you beat her on your first attempt.
