The look of some Dreamcast games always stuck with me. Good image quality, high resolution textures, relatively low-poly environments, and a lack of more advanced visual effects leads to a very sharp and readable look. There's nothing else like it.

I remember DS1 being popular on Ganker back when it was new.
And there were a lot of haters. Dark Souls definitely isn't for everyone and it would have been a niche game if it weren't for the YouTubers
