can't believe the crab had the audacity to do back-to-back divebombs during one of our runs too but fortunately the second was right as it died
That run where it was on the far left so its health bar was off the screen and everyone thought it was dead but it had a pixel left so it kept divebombing was kinda funny. The game's co-op is fairly good.

it happens in coop so i don't think it's that, i've been helping a lower level friend gear up their bp if the bug fricks our run we just let the mobs wipe us and it still happens randomly in our next runs

Can some pro Black pearl tell me how to use this b***h? Blammo locks me in a move that takes like 5 seconds to do and does literally no stagger until the last hit, her ST is good but also suffers with no stagger and takes forever for the big explosion to go off. Do I simply just charge up and normal attack to spam ST and just ignore blammo? do I manual mode this shit and start blammo from africa and let mobs walk into the final parts of it?
the trick to high level mob groups is to gather them, walk right in front to bait their attack, and sidestep up or down one step to immediately use your skill without getting hit and being able to dodge before their next attack comes out
Bros, how do I beat floor 80? Tried once and got wiped by the break bar attack or whatever you call the purple bars around 50%. He switches physical and magical resistance so quickly and his attacks are pretty hard for me to dodge.
your AI are sure to die so it's mostly a matter of being able to use your sub to soak the aoe and then your main does the rest solo
probably just come back once you're stronger or practice dodging a whole lot
learn which attacks are safe for your skill/ST animations and otherwise just get a few basic attacks in to build combo

If a terrible player like me can do it, then you can too.

It's also nice that Serafina can do physical damage with s1 and magical damage with s2. Other options are a +2 Duran and +2 Sumo. And Crimson Wizard of course, but I'm not sure about him after reading

It could have been fine if it was inflated stats with fair moves. This fricker just spams his dive bomb and it's just unavoidable screen wipe. You either run out of MP from healing or more likely the AI dies by themself before that even happens.
It's not even a problem specific to fullmetal hugger, but he's probably the most obnoxious about it.

I saw this video yesterday and it convinced me to build my +2 dark lord, he's only level 78 because no knitwits to ascend to 5 stars but I got almost 810k points in bravers arise with him.

i am honestly optimistic enough to believe that they are just too dumb to realize how shitty the crab battle is
if LoM coincided with any other boss, the element matching wouldn't be necessary nor as bad, and the crab in main story is just a mid-chapter boss despite being much more threatening than basically every other story boss

this is actually moronic, like they didn't properly time this shit to make sure it worked and just threw it in here
not just the crab, but a lot of bosses have attacks that are probably intentionally meant to not be followed up on, so knowing their patterns helps you know when it's safe
the crab's just a dickhead and 90% of its attacks are like that, so it requires more creativity in knowing your character
Other bosses either have a decently manipulable AI (story and tower bosses) or a set rotation (bravers). But so far this crab seems unbaitable, completely random, and most of his animations don't leave enough room for a skill. I can beat down on every other boss in the game, I know what they do and when, and how many hits I can get in and they're all reasonable. The crab just isn't, he literally has no real vulnerability window if he doesn't do the spit or laser eyes while you're not in front of him. And these attacks are rare.
I'm thinking of leveling the heal while in backline memo gems and hot swapping all three every time he divebombs. I've been doing it with my main pair last run and it did heal Riesz before the next dive bomb decently enough.
The problem still seems to be Sumo running out of MP and possibly dying if Hugger keeps doing the rock drop moves. I might level Honeycomb as well for extra healing.

Ape at least telegraphs his attacks clearly and is consistent in what he does. Crab just does attacks almost instantly, not to mention having an unavoidable high damage AOE.

Correct, rings can't have luck as its main stat, only necklaces and boots can.
IIRC necklaces can't have INT main stats and boots can't have STR main stats, but it's mostly irrelevant since you want to aim for LCK for them.
Damn, this is wild. Been riding this dark gear co-op train hosted by a whale for a while now, pumpin' my blue pots to stay in the game. He's got a level 100 Blackpearl with a +4 4* memogem, a level 100 Sumo with a +3 4* gem and that wind fella whose name starts with a K at level 100 with a +3 gem. Got the rank #1 bravers title and everything.

Yeah, that's kind of an issue with month long events. It looks nice 'cause you have all this time and no pressure in theory. But in practice, everyone rushes it the first week because everyone else is, then it dries up.

Yeah, I'm too shit for this game. Think I'm gonna quit. Can't beat the crab in the Hero's Zenith event either. The day to day grind is boring and doesn't lead to any actual progression 'cause I've hit the ceiling so all there is to do with both stamina bars is grind gear only to be disappointed when the upgrades go into the one or two useless sub stats on your gear piece. The only content worth doing is just too hard for me even if I hit the weakness they want me to hit. At this point I'm just spinning my wheels, watching prizes go by and gettin' nowhere, wasting time not having fun.
Co-op with you guys has been fun though, I'll give it that. And I might give a shit about the story if they updated it more often though I can't really blame them on that front; gacha stories are slow to advance by their very nature.

The game is just boring and annoyingly greedy.
This game wouldn't be so painful if they just optimized the damn game or just put it on the PC since the performance is garbage for any mobile framework that's not that new 'pie' version. The game's performance actually affects combat, and makes it run like shit. Combine that with the greedy RNG it can turn into a miserable experience. And now they only add characters into the main pool well after a month... I was lucky to get most of my chargebacks, but some of the money didn't get charged back and I regret spending it. All to get blackpearl close to LB as possible. Frickin Hawkeye, at least he's useful.. Let's see how Pearl and Hawk last in the game before they get pushed down severely in the tiers by new units.
Speaking of units, considering that the performance of these units is better with more copies and or icons to sacrifice, how long will maxed out units last, and how will they scale the damn power of all these story, event, and challenge stages? I feel as if they're going way too fast for such a short cap.
You know what I hate? The difficult scale in this game. Co-op is the best way to farm shit because enemies high level enemies can kill you in two hits, not to mention that you don't get any iframes when doing big attacks that requires you to stay still for 3 years.
It could be more tolerable if the gear was good but it is always trash. [/spoilers]At least in Genshin the domains are quick to do and not really that hard[/spoiler]
How do the element pairs work in the 3-man parties like in Bravers and Multi rooms? I figure it is just a damage boost, but is only the highest applied, or do they add up? I have bonuses for 35% and 30%, but I don't know how they are applied, and I am not sure if it's applied to one unit or to the whole team.
That isn't damage, it's the energy they generate for their ST when off field relative to the on field characters, they'll have 25/30% of it when your manual character reaches 100%
The only damage increase happening is from the unleash passive, if you put the main characters in then everyone gets 5% STR and INT, the event Primm gives 8% STR% too, other max unleash 3* give 7% STR or INT i think
By the way INT isn't wasted on physical damage dealers because it increases MSM damage
Zenith boss monkey is out but don't bother trying to solo because it's impossible, even with Co op its difficult and I could barely B rank it with 3 light units
If people were complaining about the crab running left and right wait till they see the monkey doing the 360 breath attack 5 times in a row, they're going to lose their minds

I will give them where credit is due: Their schedule so far is very consistent. Third month in a row and they're keeping the pattern with story release end of the month, a month-long event, sub events during the big events, more tower floors mid-month along with a new element equipment dungeon. While this consistent schedule is nice, what I don't like is that the power scaling is going to go through the roof at one point and they will release some new system that will be required to break past the current power limits. I fear that power system will have more RNG tacked onto it.

Considering that we're almost 3 months into the game's lifespan and there hasn't been a single 4* bow user and that water is a pretty fitting element for her since she hails from a water-centric land, I would not be surprised if she drops later this month in a dual banner with someone far more popular than her like Wanderer did so that her banner doesn't totally bomb lmao
since angela + julius are already dual (except fire/fire for some dumb reason) it'd make more sense if she was a solo random harvest like keldric, kevin, and serafina were
wish i took a pic but it's during the last phase when it does the dive bomb -> small ice area loop after it was downed twice. the target circle is there and it still does the loop but the lizard never reappears and swinging at the position of the target circle does nothing until time runs out wait is that normal

I was gonna say that the hardest part was that Dash attack that seems to just outright murder my tankiest characters instantly with no remorse, but then I realized it's super telegraphed and easy to avoid, and once again the hardest part is the AI partners that will stand in those attacks braindead, as usual
tower reminded me that crimson wizard has +10% fire damage passive so i'm sure everyone will have him in their team during next braver's
And the fact that they gave me a Crimson Wizard for free makes this whole Fire Mage banner seem so underwhelming for me. They're obviously going to keep giving me unleashes for him, why would I spend crystals on another fire mage?

why is it everytime i try to roll a new character on the banner i don't get the featured unit? it's like after 10 rolls you can get them. eventually they're added into the summoning pool.

They keep making boss fights that are buggy messes, The rates are total dogshit while they feel even worse than what its even advertised, cheaters still run rampant in Bravers, Still no 4* benevodon from events just the one from anniversary, multiplayer is basically dead, equips are still obnoxious to farm since it feels the rolls purposely go to SPR, HP or CON.
The game isnt lasting a year. They fricked it up so bad and stupidly, all they had to do was not be greedy and incompetent c**ts.
Does anyone have revenue numbers? All ive found is the last 7 days hasnt even earned 20k dollars, which is fricking pathetic when it has 2 banners with Angela, and it drew no dimes which is damning considering she's one of the series' biggest draws.

So i made a new account and got Larc on the very first discount, i want to save for Belladonna, should i just go through the game and save every stone? How long would that take you think with the current release pace? i havent paid attention since release.
we get maybe 5 characters a month, including events, but it's completely unpredictable who they release and when
i'd recommend getting your larc to +1 at least, high dupes on a base 4* honestly goes a long way
is the series anni bingo still around for you too? i think that'd be an easy +2, unless there's someone else in the series that you like nearly as much so you could get +1 on both them and larc
currently, we get 4* benevodons incredibly rarely though, so if you don't unleash larc while his rate-up is around, it's a pretty unlikely or slow chance afterwards
+1 is pretty impactful, +3 is another milestone to hit, and then it'd be +6 for the last one, so considering the initial flood of crystals, it might be worth harvesting for +1, holding onto your 4* benevodons, and/or maybe waiting until near the end of the harvest to at least see who we get next before deciding if you want to try your luck/resources going further or save instead
So i did another 3 multi's since the gems were plentiful, and did get another Larc, along with that featured memory as well. That should be good for now then on the dupe front at the very least, i want to be minimalist to try and save for future characters of interest.

Can recommend Sumo too, +6 lvl 99, on the water weak coffers boss, his skill does 7k+17k and ST close to 80k + it pierces through half the map
His skill has a dash too so you can time it to dodge through the boss
I started building water Riesz now but she's only +3 unleashes, slightly faster animations than sumo and some combo building on her ST but no mobility so I hope she compensates with higher damage
It honestly feels like Kevin and Keldy were supposed to be Moon/Wood units but were changed at the last minute for whatever reason. Larc being water is really weird too

Good for the Int set but it's a little late for the STR one, I don't see any scenario where I would want to farm out a full Str set now when the elemental sets exist for every element worth a damn
Don't underestimate the STR set, the fastest Bravers 2 run I saw (something like 15 seconds with Kevin) ran Valsena + Bone. Even I personally switched from what I consider a pretty good Dark set to my old Valsena set and noticed a slight increase in DPS on my Shiloh.
i farmed so much valsena originally that i still haven't gotten an elemental set that beats the substats i got before
but the aesthetics of using/having the matching elemental set feels nice at least

The "special occasions" are just excuses to hype it up a bit, I'm sure if it weren't a 3M downloads celebration then it would be a LoM anniversary celebration, or whatever other dumb shit they can come up with.
I'm pretty confident next month they'll give us another freebie for the SoM anniversary, then in September for the SD3 one, etc. etc.
That'd being said I would love for them to give away more than one per month.

Honestly she seems way better than Larc who I already dumped rolls into because of good memories from LoM and I didn't expect them to go all in on LoM like they have been for a while now
the LoM anni probably forced their hand, but really, they gave her a lot >ST has great horizontal range, good vertical range, refunds some ST gauge, and its hurtbox is displaced from sierra's hitbox as well as moves a fair distance, so it's pretty safe to use >S1 comes out very quick, has short range, and an overall short animation with minimal start/endlag >S2 is a potent lock-on debuff to enemy str/con that's also very safe to use >+1 is 10% str to self/allies AND 80% self initial st gauge >+3 is self/allies damage up with 30+ combo, which she very easily fulfills

Man the online for this is so fricking dead. Can't farm most gear sets and even the event is dead. Feels like making this game with co-op in mind was a mistake.
it was a problem that dragalia took too long to handle, people simply don't have time to do coop for the sake of common grind in a mobile game, but you also need to make the highest content last a while
eventually they made all content solo friendly with extra drops to incentivize coop specifically
the latest dev dispatch makes it sound like EoM is already starting to do that so it could be good, as long as they improve the AI to the point where solo isn't frustrating, and add more coop incentives

Co-op is dead because there's no incentive to do it. Most of the people still playing are whales for day 1 players and they dont need to do online outside missions so they rush it early on.
The recent changes to Coffer Chaos made it pretty worthwhile to dump blue juice to farm Altena Alloy, which was a pretty scarce resource before.
I’d love for them to add extra drops to co-op gear dungeons though.

these quests are kinda neat in concept but relatively lackluster
the stories are top tier fun for mana enthusiasts with crossovers between games and callbacks to mainline plot points
the gameplay is active and takes some getting used to because it has some wonkiness, so it's sometimes fun sometimes frustrating, but i lean more towards fun
there's a 200 pity on any banner, gacha rates relatively average as shown in pic related, but due to the rate of currency income you do need to be smart about what you decide to go for
characters are from across all mana games and some OCs, but they also all have different rarities, so if you don't get your favorite's max rarity alt you can still enjoy them at a slightly less effective but easier to max low rarity. rate-ups last a few weeks to a month, and go into the standard pool eventually, supposedly we'll have seasonal alts later but no precedent for that yet
the game is fairly reliant on coop right now, there's no skips for content and AI is dumb as hell, but there's negligible to no penalty for failure besides time spent. the stamina cap and constant refill potions means you can get by playing once or twice a day for half an hour to an hour i'd say
there's no pvp but there's a leaderboard event once a month, the game is more skill reliant than stats so you can beat most players as f2p but the whales' rewards won't be too far off from yours at least. game kinda favors dolphin-tier spending rather than low-spending
last note, we're celebrating mana series' 31st anni and LoM anni so there's a good amount of freebies/event rewards right now
the other guy didn't mention it but there's a dupe system (7 copies of a character for max power) and you WILL want a few dupes if you want a character you won't just bench
i like the stories and it's fairly low maintenance once you've got a decent team built, but overall i agree with
you're better off replaying a mana game

Nope, the game is heavily whale oriented mainly because of how Unleash works. One of the monthly events, Bravers Arise, is outright meant for whales to dominate(and go figure its usually infested with cheaters anyway).
You can however clear basically everything f2p, even moreso if you luck into Sumo. But the way they gatekeep powering up your units is utterly moronic and predatory as frick.

One of the worst lotteries ive played in gacha's. Rates for 4*'s are really bad, featured characters are pathetic, rates for gem are worse than that. Ive gotten off banner Shiloh, Popoi and Sumo way more than banner characters. What's worse is most 4* units arent even particularly worth using if you dont have +2 on them because the powerup to their first skill is a pretty big deal.

Id say about 15-20 min or so a day is more than enough to clear for daily rewards, even less and you can auto if your strong enough. Really the most time consuming thing is co-op X30 times for rewards, and those are ususally spread over a month to clear. Pretty lenient and not time consuming.

unleashed, they add a lot of stats to your main controlled DPS, which is where most of your damage comes from and you want to focus one character for bravers/coop too
you could keep them separate if you expect them to improve AI enough, but i tend to have good enough or separate specialized memogems that i'm fine with my AI and characters for each element having instead

it really is just constant swapping and alternating skill spam, like the other stages your damage is minimal unless you fulfill the condition
maintaining combo is difficult because basic attacks quickly waste your hp, and ebon knight moves around a ton anyways, so that's a lot of damage lost
then your AI are deadweight because they won't swap, so that's another big damage loss
your main two characters just need to be really strong

well off players can solo everything, so they don't coop
generally if you create a room at a not-dead time of day, people should trickle in, since most people also try to join way more often than trying to host themselves
or use the room list to find what other people are already hosting, since there's kinda a lot of things to potentially run now so it dilutes what people are actually running too

Took me a while, but I managed to kill both bosses without dropping combo. Also, how fast do they want us to Kill them for the time bonus. This is literally the best I can do without insane gear or unleash pretty much everyone.
With that said the fight is pretty fun.
I feel that Crimson does more damage. However, Crimson consumes more MP and has longer animations, that's why in my screenshot I'm using Angela instead. I could try using Crimson instead but is possible that the ST animation is long enough to drop the combo.

I got both Sierra and Larc but I don't know which is better.
Larc seems like Duran but slower and Sierra seems like she would be good in co-op with her attack damage debuffing but no one plays co-op and the cpu has no idea how to play her.
AI aren't too bad at applying debuffs, it's a nice bonus when you're controlling someone else. not particularly different from typical AI
I didn't go for larc so i can't say anything about him, but bossing in general is fantastic with sierra because her animations are very quick and combo skyrockets
Larc's overall DPS is much higher, actually, especially at higher gear numbers, but he obviously can't keep a combo going, like Sierra can, and as mentioned, Sierra has the added bonus of debuffs she can throw out whenever. If you had a way of using those same debuffs on your party with Larc, I would very easily say he would win out in this scenario.
The rotation is how many skill usages you would need to get max ST gauge, plus one ST usage. As you can imagine, the amount of this varies from character to character, and these numbers are done on Single Targets since one S1 can hit and charge on multiple targets at the same time.

I think that's a bug. The sleep procs before the marker instead of the AOE. Try restarting your client, it'll go back to the proper AOE marker first.

maybe it's like that one stun bug, where if you menu restart while your character is in the sleep state, the game doesn't properly reinitialize

Can some pro Black pearl tell me how to use this b***h? Blammo locks me in a move that takes like 5 seconds to do and does literally no stagger until the last hit, her ST is good but also suffers with no stagger and takes forever for the big explosion to go off. Do I simply just charge up and normal attack to spam ST and just ignore blammo? do I manual mode this shit and start blammo from africa and let mobs walk into the final parts of it?

everytime I do any stage 6 with her using them is pretty much instant death. especially Blammo, mobs just walk right up to me and delete my ass.
mobs in gear dungeons have inflated stagger numbers so yeah, you'll have this issue with any character
the trick to high level mob groups is to gather them, walk right in front to bait their attack, and sidestep up or down one step to immediately use your skill without getting hit and being able to dodge before their next attack comes out

+1 gives 1%, +2 gives 3% I'm pretty sure.
No + is just a skin.
Quilt gets a different weapon model compared to everyone else when equipped with the Deadelus Lance, which is a cute touch.

Bros, how do I beat floor 80? Tried once and got wiped by the break bar attack or whatever you call the purple bars around 50%. He switches physical and magical resistance so quickly and his attacks are pretty hard for me to dodge.
your AI are sure to die so it's mostly a matter of being able to use your sub to soak the aoe and then your main does the rest solo
probably just come back once you're stronger or practice dodging a whole lot
learn which attacks are safe for your skill/ST animations and otherwise just get a few basic attacks in to build combo
Thanks bros. I guess I'll use my +2 Serafina (once I farm a good dark armor set) and my +1 Angela as my +1 Popoi runs out of MP and becomes useless. It's also nice that Serafina can do physical damage with s1 and magical damage with s2. Other options are a +2 Duran and +2 Sumo. And Crimson Wizard of course, but I'm not sure about him after reading
Bring a Mage/Physical attacker duo you're comfortable with, don't bother with AI tard companions, they'll only drag you down unless they're a healer. He always opens with fireball, then he teleports. After that, he does two spells (Ice smash/thunderstorm/earthquake and then lucent beam/dark force). Then he'll TP to the center again and change his resistance, so switch to your other character. He always switches to physical resistance first, so open with your mage character if you don't want to have to switch early. Do your best to keep your combo up, use your STs and save your MSM for when he does his barrier attack (less than half health). Remember, you can still attack while unleashing MSM, so spam your skills/ST during it.
If a terrible player like me can do it, then you can too.

It could have been fine if it was inflated stats with fair moves. This fricker just spams his dive bomb and it's just unavoidable screen wipe. You either run out of MP from healing or more likely the AI dies by themself before that even happens.

i am honestly optimistic enough to believe that they are just too dumb to realize how shitty the crab battle is
if LoM coincided with any other boss, the element matching wouldn't be necessary nor as bad, and the crab in main story is just a mid-chapter boss despite being much more threatening than basically every other story boss

this is actually moronic, like they didn't properly time this shit to make sure it worked and just threw it in here
not just the crab, but a lot of bosses have attacks that are probably intentionally meant to not be followed up on, so knowing their patterns helps you know when it's safe
the crab's just a dickhead and 90% of its attacks are like that, so it requires more creativity in knowing your character
Other bosses either have a decently manipulable AI (story and tower bosses) or a set rotation (bravers). But so far this crab seems unbaitable, completely random, and most of his animations don't leave enough room for a skill. I can beat down on every other boss in the game, I know what they do and when, and how many hits I can get in and they're all reasonable. The crab just isn't, he literally has no real vulnerability window if he doesn't do the spit or laser eyes while you're not in front of him. And these attacks are rare.
I'm thinking of leveling the heal while in backline memo gems and hot swapping all three every time he divebombs. I've been doing it with my main pair last run and it did heal Riesz before the next dive bomb decently enough.
The problem still seems to be Sumo running out of MP and possibly dying if Hugger keeps doing the rock drop moves. I might level Honeycomb as well for extra healing.

du'inke is predictable, easy to dodge, safe to attack, and cannot do rocks back to back

Ape at least telegraphs his attacks clearly and is consistent in what he does. Crab just does attacks almost instantly, not to mention having an unavoidable high damage AOE.

Correct, rings can't have luck as its main stat, only necklaces and boots can.
IIRC necklaces can't have INT main stats and boots can't have STR main stats, but it's mostly irrelevant since you want to aim for LCK for them.

Yeah, that's kind of an issue with month long events. It looks nice 'cause you have all this time and no pressure in theory. But in practice, everyone rushes it the first week because everyone else is, then it dries up.

Yeah, I'm too shit for this game. Think I'm gonna quit. Can't beat the crab in the Hero's Zenith event either. The day to day grind is boring and doesn't lead to any actual progression 'cause I've hit the ceiling so all there is to do with both stamina bars is grind gear only to be disappointed when the upgrades go into the one or two useless sub stats on your gear piece. The only content worth doing is just too hard for me even if I hit the weakness they want me to hit. At this point I'm just spinning my wheels, watching prizes go by and gettin' nowhere, wasting time not having fun.
Co-op with you guys has been fun though, I'll give it that. And I might give a shit about the story if they updated it more often though I can't really blame them on that front; gacha stories are slow to advance by their very nature.

I uninstalled the day after I made this post (damn, can't believe the same thread is still up) but I'm stopping by because I just finally got a reply back from this game's customer service about an issue I messaged way back around launch where my daily dungeon tries didn't reset the next day. They said they fixed it in the previous version update. Hope all's going well for you guys.

For me, it's walking up to an enemy so I'm right beside them, facing them, pressing the ST button, and seeing my character turn 180 for no reason at all and whiff it into space.
I love it when Spirit magic fizzles randomly and does absolutely nothing.
For me, it's the awkward hitboxes.

This game wouldn't be so painful if they just optimized the damn game or just put it on the PC since the performance is garbage for any mobile framework that's not that new 'pie' version. The game's performance actually affects combat, and makes it run like shit. Combine that with the greedy RNG it can turn into a miserable experience. And now they only add characters into the main pool well after a month... I was lucky to get most of my chargebacks, but some of the money didn't get charged back and I regret spending it. All to get blackpearl close to LB as possible. Frickin Hawkeye, at least he's useful.. Let's see how Pearl and Hawk last in the game before they get pushed down severely in the tiers by new units.
Speaking of units, considering that the performance of these units is better with more copies and or icons to sacrifice, how long will maxed out units last, and how will they scale the damn power of all these story, event, and challenge stages? I feel as if they're going way too fast for such a short cap.

You know what I hate? The difficult scale in this game. Co-op is the best way to farm shit because enemies high level enemies can kill you in two hits, not to mention that you don't get any iframes when doing big attacks that requires you to stay still for 3 years.

How do the element pairs work in the 3-man parties like in Bravers and Multi rooms? I figure it is just a damage boost, but is only the highest applied, or do they add up? I have bonuses for 35% and 30%, but I don't know how they are applied, and I am not sure if it's applied to one unit or to the whole team.
That isn't damage, it's the energy they generate for their ST when off field relative to the on field characters, they'll have 25/30% of it when your manual character reaches 100%
The only damage increase happening is from the unleash passive, if you put the main characters in then everyone gets 5% STR and INT, the event Primm gives 8% STR% too, other max unleash 3* give 7% STR or INT i think
By the way INT isn't wasted on physical damage dealers because it increases MSM damage
Zenith boss monkey is out but don't bother trying to solo because it's impossible, even with Co op its difficult and I could barely B rank it with 3 light units
If people were complaining about the crab running left and right wait till they see the monkey doing the 360 breath attack 5 times in a row, they're going to lose their minds

I have my doubts, there were things they could have done to mitigate some of these issues and they still need to optimize the shit out of it. They need to hire some autistic German so the game doesn't run like shit.
I will give them where credit is due: Their schedule so far is very consistent. Third month in a row and they're keeping the pattern with story release end of the month, a month-long event, sub events during the big events, more tower floors mid-month along with a new element equipment dungeon. While this consistent schedule is nice, what I don't like is that the power scaling is going to go through the roof at one point and they will release some new system that will be required to break past the current power limits. I fear that power system will have more RNG tacked onto it.

I was gonna say that the hardest part was that Dash attack that seems to just outright murder my tankiest characters instantly with no remorse, but then I realized it's super telegraphed and easy to avoid, and once again the hardest part is the AI partners that will stand in those attacks braindead, as usual

we get maybe 5 characters a month, including events, but it's completely unpredictable who they release and when
i'd recommend getting your larc to +1 at least, high dupes on a base 4* honestly goes a long way

is the series anni bingo still around for you too? i think that'd be an easy +2, unless there's someone else in the series that you like nearly as much so you could get +1 on both them and larc
currently, we get 4* benevodons incredibly rarely though, so if you don't unleash larc while his rate-up is around, it's a pretty unlikely or slow chance afterwards
+1 is pretty impactful, +3 is another milestone to hit, and then it'd be +6 for the last one, so considering the initial flood of crystals, it might be worth harvesting for +1, holding onto your 4* benevodons, and/or maybe waiting until near the end of the harvest to at least see who we get next before deciding if you want to try your luck/resources going further or save instead
So i did another 3 multi's since the gems were plentiful, and did get another Larc, along with that featured memory as well. That should be good for now then on the dupe front at the very least, i want to be minimalist to try and save for future characters of interest.

Can recommend Sumo too, +6 lvl 99, on the water weak coffers boss, his skill does 7k+17k and ST close to 80k + it pierces through half the map
His skill has a dash too so you can time it to dodge through the boss
I started building water Riesz now but she's only +3 unleashes, slightly faster animations than sumo and some combo building on her ST but no mobility so I hope she compensates with higher damage

Don't underestimate the STR set, the fastest Bravers 2 run I saw (something like 15 seconds with Kevin) ran Valsena + Bone. Even I personally switched from what I consider a pretty good Dark set to my old Valsena set and noticed a slight increase in DPS on my Shiloh.

i farmed so much valsena originally that i still haven't gotten an elemental set that beats the substats i got before

Honestly she seems way better than Larc who I already dumped rolls into because of good memories from LoM and I didn't expect them to go all in on LoM like they have been for a while now
the LoM anni probably forced their hand, but really, they gave her a lot
>ST has great horizontal range, good vertical range, refunds some ST gauge, and its hurtbox is displaced from sierra's hitbox as well as moves a fair distance, so it's pretty safe to use
>S1 comes out very quick, has short range, and an overall short animation with minimal start/endlag

it was a problem that dragalia took too long to handle, people simply don't have time to do coop for the sake of common grind in a mobile game, but you also need to make the highest content last a while
eventually they made all content solo friendly with extra drops to incentivize coop specifically
the latest dev dispatch makes it sound like EoM is already starting to do that so it could be good, as long as they improve the AI to the point where solo isn't frustrating, and add more coop incentives

This is the worst part for me, the current event is damn near unplayable with AI because the AI just does not know what to do and stands in the massive ice circles until they die because there's no enemy on screen, and there's never any co-op rooms for it anyway so I haven't even bothered with the high level version
Dragalia is dead because playing solo with auto is easier than coop though and there is almost no reason to roll new characters aside for favorites

How shit is the gacha?
Is it relatively low-upkeep? (ie don't have to play a ton every day to keep up)
the stories are top tier fun for mana enthusiasts with crossovers between games and callbacks to mainline plot points
the gameplay is active and takes some getting used to because it has some wonkiness, so it's sometimes fun sometimes frustrating, but i lean more towards fun
there's a 200 pity on any banner, gacha rates relatively average as shown in pic related, but due to the rate of currency income you do need to be smart about what you decide to go for
characters are from across all mana games and some OCs, but they also all have different rarities, so if you don't get your favorite's max rarity alt you can still enjoy them at a slightly less effective but easier to max low rarity. rate-ups last a few weeks to a month, and go into the standard pool eventually, supposedly we'll have seasonal alts later but no precedent for that yet
the game is fairly reliant on coop right now, there's no skips for content and AI is dumb as hell, but there's negligible to no penalty for failure besides time spent. the stamina cap and constant refill potions means you can get by playing once or twice a day for half an hour to an hour i'd say
there's no pvp but there's a leaderboard event once a month, the game is more skill reliant than stats so you can beat most players as f2p but the whales' rewards won't be too far off from yours at least. game kinda favors dolphin-tier spending rather than low-spending
last note, we're celebrating mana series' 31st anni and LoM anni so there's a good amount of freebies/event rewards right now
you're better off replaying a mana game
the other guy didn't mention it but there's a dupe system (7 copies of a character for max power) and you WILL want a few dupes if you want a character you won't just bench
i like the stories and it's fairly low maintenance once you've got a decent team built, but overall i agree with

Nope, the game is heavily whale oriented mainly because of how Unleash works. One of the monthly events, Bravers Arise, is outright meant for whales to dominate(and go figure its usually infested with cheaters anyway).
You can however clear basically everything f2p, even moreso if you luck into Sumo. But the way they gatekeep powering up your units is utterly moronic and predatory as frick.

One of the worst lotteries ive played in gacha's. Rates for 4*'s are really bad, featured characters are pathetic, rates for gem are worse than that. Ive gotten off banner Shiloh, Popoi and Sumo way more than banner characters. What's worse is most 4* units arent even particularly worth using if you dont have +2 on them because the powerup to their first skill is a pretty big deal.

Id say about 15-20 min or so a day is more than enough to clear for daily rewards, even less and you can auto if your strong enough. Really the most time consuming thing is co-op X30 times for rewards, and those are ususally spread over a month to clear. Pretty lenient and not time consuming.

there's a ton of freebies including a 4* benevodon right now for the same reason, and for mana 31st celebration
unleashed, they add a lot of stats to your main controlled DPS, which is where most of your damage comes from and you want to focus one character for bravers/coop too
you could keep them separate if you expect them to improve AI enough, but i tend to have good enough or separate specialized memogems that i'm fine with my AI and characters for each element having instead

it really is just constant swapping and alternating skill spam, like the other stages your damage is minimal unless you fulfill the condition
maintaining combo is difficult because basic attacks quickly waste your hp, and ebon knight moves around a ton anyways, so that's a lot of damage lost
then your AI are deadweight because they won't swap, so that's another big damage loss
your main two characters just need to be really strong

well off players can solo everything, so they don't coop
generally if you create a room at a not-dead time of day, people should trickle in, since most people also try to join way more often than trying to host themselves
or use the room list to find what other people are already hosting, since there's kinda a lot of things to potentially run now so it dilutes what people are actually running too

Took me a while, but I managed to kill both bosses without dropping combo. Also, how fast do they want us to Kill them for the time bonus. This is literally the best I can do without insane gear or unleash pretty much everyone.
With that said the fight is pretty fun.
How's fire Angela compared to Crimson?
I feel that Crimson does more damage. However, Crimson consumes more MP and has longer animations, that's why in my screenshot I'm using Angela instead. I could try using Crimson instead but is possible that the ST animation is long enough to drop the combo.

I got both Sierra and Larc but I don't know which is better.
Larc seems like Duran but slower and Sierra seems like she would be good in co-op with her attack damage debuffing but no one plays co-op and the cpu has no idea how to play her.
AI aren't too bad at applying debuffs, it's a nice bonus when you're controlling someone else. not particularly different from typical AI
I didn't go for larc so i can't say anything about him, but bossing in general is fantastic with sierra because her animations are very quick and combo skyrockets
Larc's overall DPS is much higher, actually, especially at higher gear numbers, but he obviously can't keep a combo going, like Sierra can, and as mentioned, Sierra has the added bonus of debuffs she can throw out whenever. If you had a way of using those same debuffs on your party with Larc, I would very easily say he would win out in this scenario.

The rotation is how many skill usages you would need to get max ST gauge, plus one ST usage. As you can imagine, the amount of this varies from character to character, and these numbers are done on Single Targets since one S1 can hit and charge on multiple targets at the same time.

Honestly I also wish they were gone I find it pretty shit that extra weapons are locked behind rank. Sure the attack bonus is not that big but it's still bad that somebody missed one of them because a cheater.
I just want more weapon skins, for me personally it kinda sucks that the only ones we get are through this and I'd kill for weapon skins that don't have any stat value but come in different flavors you could just spend gold on
