How come there's been so little interest in this Capcom RPG game for Dreamcast?
The Amano illustrations for the battles are beautiful.
I'd go crazy for an English release, even though I assume it's a titanic translation effort.

RPGs? Are these 7 full games?
Any more infos? Never heard of this
Full Games might be a stretch. There are indeed 7 individual protagonist stories, each game is around 25 hours long and released within 2 months of each other. The catch: the last 2 volumes received very limited printing due to the Dreamcast production getting discontinued and sell for triple the price of the other volumes bringing the full set to a whopping $300. Graphics might look nice but if you look closely the maps are very repetitive, often reusing assets and the battles seem to use stock RPG maker hit sparks.
Not really a terrible game if you only play 1 or 2 volumes.
anything special if you play all 7 volumes? Special end epilogue or anything?
I don't know. I've only found a full playthrough of the first volume. I doubt it does, most you're gonna get some bonus gear and dialogue.
You get the story. It is a 7 disc JRPG.
>7 fricking discs of Japanese autism
holy shit how low can you go
oh, so it's not 7 separate entries, but a single full game?
Correct. It's just an episodic release. There's 18 chapters spread out over 7 discs, and each of the 12 characters get their own introduction chapter.
Sounds pretty nuts then. I'm betting very little people actually beat the game
It should be over a 100 hours long.
>Dreamcast
There's your problem.
The soundtrack of the first game is really nice.
Thanks for the fodder op I'll.make a youtube video of this game for easy money
It's all so tiring.
I wish, nobody cares about the Dreamcast. Actually you should do it, information on this is so rare even Japs have never heard of it.
So is this like SaGa Frontier if each character was on a separate game disc?
why is it so small?
Looked up the staff credits, many of them are Capcom veterans who worked on a bunch of games including Breath of Fire and Mega Man X Command Mission. The director went on to make Brave Story PSP.
OP just picked up the shitty thumbnail pic on wikipedia

It's a pity that these series are so abandoned by Capcom. After seeing some revivals in English like Moon, this would be a great chance for Capcom.
Get fricked, DQ slimes
