Am I supposed to do all the mini dungeons shit? After I went out on the map I just followed the road until I reached Margit. Took me a while to beat him, I had to learn the parry timings because it was the only way I did decent damage, but it wasn't particularly hard for Souls standards. Only after that did I start exploring the other shit. I haven't even cleared all the ruins yet and I'm already getting tired of it. Also, only a couple of bosses gave me trouble at the start, most I'm beating on the second or first try. I never thought I was particularly good so I don't know if I'm just getting overleveled from this shit. I don't grind, I even try to just run past enemies I've already killed once.
You don't need to, but they may have good loot and level you up
should've upgraded your weapon to +6 at least
Just play the game
Just play the game and stop asking others what to do you fricking ADHD zoomer mongoloid.
I wouldn't bother unless you want to play the game like it's Ubislop
Most people cheat so unless you could provide a video then press x to doubt
>Most people cheat
Speak for yourself pvp troony
I only bothered for the main character once i was done with the game because i couldn't be assed to grind 200 levels and accidentally sold some once per playthrough gear. Game is piss easy without any cheating as long as you have any idea wtf are you even doing unless you do self challenges like no leveling runs or challenge later game bosses early.
>Most people cheat so unless you could provide a video then press x to doubt
Biggest shitter cope I've ever seen on this website lmao.
Skip them all
>supposed to
you can if you want
they didn't make them for nothing
Don't force yourself to do every dungeon, there's a lot, they're very copy+paste with shit rewards and you'll burn yourself out. You're also in the easiest region of the game.
I did all of them because I didn't want to miss out on loot and it ruined the game for me. I would unironically recommend using a wiki and only grabbing the stuff you want.
>but it wasn't particularly hard for Souls standar
you played the other souls games with your dick or something?
You want to do the mines and the Catacombs at least because those have smithing stones and gloveworts respectively.
It's a case by case for the rest, some have weapons you might want. That dungeon in the middle there for example has a giant anchor weapon as a clear reward.

You don't need to do them, play the game as you see fit. Unlike BB, the mini dungeons have pretty cool unique treasure and loot. You're gonna want to do mines (the minidungeons marked by a meteor crater in the map) because they drop soothing stones for upgrading your weapons.
it 100% depends how you want to play
you will get overleveled if you spend too much of the runes on level ups
also if you play int or dragon and use summons the game is a cakewalk anyway
Ranni is my wife
I enjoyed a lot of smaller dungeons. They usually have secets or hidden areas and cool loot. It also doesn't take much to clear it and have unique weapons/armor like Cross-Naginata
You're supposed to do whatever you want
Can i use the same moveset as this enemy or it's an exclusive moveset? Is the spinny shit an ash?
?si=vV9k3rfdHY1u3CC0
sorry no, you don't get to do cool stuff, only the enemies do
I was sad when I learned the bell bearing hunter sword didn't have those cool slashes
I don't know why fromsoft is afraid of giving the player cool stuff, pvp is already a mess anyway
Some sorceries/incantations are fun, although they're impossible to cast in 90% of the cases because they take too long to come out
it's funny when this professional reject gets mad that he can't faceroll a videogame, even if elden shart is complete trash
Limgrave and Weeping Peninsula have a bunch of essential items so you should take the time to breeze through the optional content. Later side dungeons get more elaborate, but naturally their contents get more build-specific.
you can do whatever the frick you want, anon
elden ring's open world is zelda without any puzzles or meaningful loot
At the start I did ever mini dungeon but most give little to none exp and there's most likely a random ass spell or weapon in the end. Since I did no magic like 80% of them were a waste of time for me (still did a ton but stopped neqring endgame)
Just do one or two mini dungeons. After that you've done them all as they all look the same. Literally. Not even kidding. Minor differences in room placement, and the bosses are repeat characters from the game. One or two of them might have an annoying gimmick, but its not worth it to do them all. Whatever build youre going for, find out what items you need for it, and if an item happens to be inside a mini dungeon then do it, literally ignore the rest, you wont miss out.
The more dungeons you do the more enemies you kill and thus the more xp(runes) you get. If you dont do dungeons, and side content you can quickly gind yourself underpowered in the midgame, especially if you're a non magic character. Also dungeons have loot like legendary weappns or armor.
>levels matter
elden shart's stats are the least important things in the game now, it's technically not an RPG but an action game now. getting the first great rune and then shoving all your rocks into a single weapon will carry you all the way to Azula without much effort
>game is easier after i've beaten it
woah
game is easy period, none of the bosses have movesets you're actually supposed to memorize, the entire game is an unga bunga dps and flask check which is easily defeated by stuffing all your rocks into a single weapon which now give you a 15% damage bonus over DS3. Couple that with the build in easy mode and there's not a single piece of content in this game that's any challenge at all
try convincing yourself first before spewing nonsense here. low effort arguments are not getting you anywhere
Sorry but elden ring is the most braindead sterile shit fromsoft has made since king's field
majority disagrees, seek help
>majority
still waiting for more than one person to tell me I'm wrong, keep seething though
For me Margit was the hardest boss for a long time. After beating him I could beat most other bosses my first try or after a few attempts.
The middle of the game has been a breeze, but now I'm nearing the endgame and bosses are showing some teeth again.
Shazamtroon thread?
DLC FRICKING WHEN??
Also no, you'd need to be incredibly autistic to be able to explore every single dungeon and not get burned out before finishing the game
>Posting google search images because you are not actually playing the game
2 years of mindbreak lol
Or maybe he just thought of the thread while he wasn't playing it, genius?
I like dungeon crawling and so I did all the mini dungeons, and had fun doing them. The level scaling in this game assumes you will do them, your stats won't softcap until 70 and the game assumes you'll be at SL250 by the time you finish it.
AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH
