Limgrave>Altus>>>>hard>>>>rest>>>even harder>>>>Raya Luc.
Terrible perma cum rain and cum aerosol in that zone. Same with the cum rain on south part of Limgrave. Seriously, why the frick games have terrible rain these days, its just raining cum?? I spend 16 days resting to get rid of that fricking thing
I remember how upset I was on my first playthrough of ER when I got Lionel's armor in Leyndell. I thought I failed a sidequest and almost quit playing.
Certainly lets less artistic folk live out their power fantasy and dreams naturally its going to get gimped hard in the future because fear the machine and all that
For me it was how overwhelming it was. Huge spike in difficulty, no bonfire spamming like every other dungeon, opressive atmosphere, dark, claustrophobic and labyrinthian sewer pipes, the looping side dungeon and then the Mogh fight at the end. I absoloutly loved every part of it.
Except that's not the end, because behind Mohg is a mass grave for the nomad genocide and below that is Finger Satan. And below that you can just walk into the underground because you went down a skyscraper.
Yeah. That was for sure amazing as well. It felt like it just kept going and going and going, but in a good way.
But for me, it fell off a bit after Mogh. Still good, just not S tier.
It's not tiny, but most of the area is locked until you reach the top. You can access a bunch of secret back areas then. I think it was neat, not my favorite dungeon but still cool.
I just farmed a Gross last night, it's great. I went early to Atlus Plateau and killed Draconic for his Dragonclaw Shield. I'm gonna shield bash everyone.
Raya Lucaria is also my favourite. Not the best in terms of raw level design but for its atmosphere and build up its the high point. Leyndell falls a bit flat in comparison.
I like to imagine the game ends after stormveil. The coolest weapons and ideas are all in limgrave— exile soldiers with thorny death infestation, grafted scions/grafting in general, mercenary storm knights, mercenary kaiden dudes
tied between Farum Azula and Haligtree, but i thought every legacy dungeon ranged from good to great. i'm hype as frick for the DLC bros, considering From DLCs consistently reach the highest highs of their respective games and sometimes even push the bar a little higher.
It was a good sized area that made sense to explore on foot. I thought the game was just too big. It had cool moments like riding to the area where the big elevator is. But it resulted in so much padding. Open world bloat was something even fromsoft wasn’t immune to.
Dungeon is a tie between Haligtree and Leyndell
Region is Caelid
What did you like about Caelid?
It's aesthetically much different than the rest of the game and quite interesting but I found the enemies to be a pain
visuals are good enough to counter that
feels like I'm on an edgy dark metal album cover
I love the nightmarish environment and how threatening it is. The monsters there are rad and evoke fear well by design.
Now on my 2nd playthrough, I can confirm I like Nokstrella the most. Even the wrecking balls were pretty cool.
The underground was done really well. Eerie and mystical, first time I went down Siofra well blew my mind.
Altus Plateau
Altus Plateu
Altus Plauteau is really cool and so is Leyndell
Limgrave>Altus>>>>hard>>>>rest>>>even harder>>>>Raya Luc.

Just out of curiosity, do you play with temporal AA off?
I remember how upset I was on my first playthrough of ER when I got Lionel's armor in Leyndell. I thought I failed a sidequest and almost quit playing.
>I could have saved him goddamnit!
Haligtree
I still wonder why the secret medallion had to drop you off in such a bad place
I don't know. I still think that was a bullshit way to implement that content.
Next year I guess. Between AC6, baldur's gate 3, and dragon's dogma 2, I wouldn't be surprised
I loved the atmosphere of nokstella. Plus that ice lightning spear incantation is just awesome.
Atlus and the capital.
For me its Leyndell. I don’t think there’s a finer castle area in all of video games
DLC fricking when?
I expect a trailer at the VGAs with a release date for March/April next year
tga shadowdrop
DLC before DD2 would be great. Could really sink my teeth into a fresh playthrough so I can warm up for exploring another hostile world.
Nokstella is fantastic
Nokstella sucks dick, can't even use your horse. Nokron is where it's at
>can't even use your horse
So that's why I like it. I see.
Wow, neat AI image, it got the Nox armor decently well even if the colors are wrong.
I generated way to much knight and mage around campfire and are just looking to unload them somewhere in a controlled manner 🙁
In a good world AI art would be a cool tool, but in this cursed shithole it will only bring more problems.
Certainly lets less artistic folk live out their power fantasy and dreams naturally its going to get gimped hard in the future because fear the machine and all that
AI has got pretty cool
Subteranian shunning grounds. I honestly think it's one of the best levels FROM has ever done.
Who can forget being chased by a giant rat only to fall into a pit of angry lobsters
>At the end

defently one of the best arenas especially the eastern egg with the frenzied flame at the end
>Raya Lucaria
is literally the most disappointing. It looks immense and imposing from afar and you get there and it's tiny and uninspired.
It's not tiny, but most of the area is locked until you reach the top. You can access a bunch of secret back areas then. I think it was neat, not my favorite dungeon but still cool.
That first castle is the only good bit, everything else is run past content.
Volcanochads, where you at?
Volcano manor is kino but I hate replaying it because of the fat godskin homosexual.
>want somber 7
>fat frick fred fruit-rollups your fricking fun
And then I go to the sewers.
Use the pillars and sleep flask if you need to
Anyone else shamelessly dual wield grosse messers?
I shamelessly dual wielded rotted greataxe, and it was my most fun run.
Elden Ring was meant for sword and board. The game gives shields way too many utilities to not have one on all times.
I never manage to grasp the parry mechanic tried several time to teach me it on the goal in limegrave but gave up
Different shields have different parry windows. Typically small shields are better for parries while heavy shields are made for guard counters
I just farmed a Gross last night, it's great. I went early to Atlus Plateau and killed Draconic for his Dragonclaw Shield. I'm gonna shield bash everyone.
I liked all the areas where you couldn't use Torrent actually. If your Torrent whistle is available then it's a designated slop zone.
Raya Lucaria is also my favourite. Not the best in terms of raw level design but for its atmosphere and build up its the high point. Leyndell falls a bit flat in comparison.
for me it was probably nokron and nokstella, mainly because i thought that ant warriors / ants themselves make for amazing enemies.
>Follow shining rocks along ledge
>Gets kicked off by same bandit i spared in Limegrave
Tell me why i should spare him again?
He pushed you in the right direction.
He gives you the quest for the best armor in the game.
He sells some amazing items if you let him live.
>Zone
Caelid
>Legacy Dungeon
Volcano Manor
>Legacy dungeon
What legacy?
Take a guess.
I like to imagine the game ends after stormveil. The coolest weapons and ideas are all in limgrave— exile soldiers with thorny death infestation, grafted scions/grafting in general, mercenary storm knights, mercenary kaiden dudes

Liurnia of Lakes. It had the most variety, felt really magical. The 3 different paths seemed really cool as well.
>Frick Godric, praise the maid
Leyndell.
It was a good sized area that made sense to explore on foot. I thought the game was just too big. It had cool moments like riding to the area where the big elevator is. But it resulted in so much padding. Open world bloat was something even fromsoft wasn’t immune to.
People still talk about elden bloat
Atlus Plateau, also because I finally got things for my STR/FAI build.
the blood swamp or the coom swamp, whatever those were called lmao, haligtree was pretty great
Don't remember, none of them are memorable, maybe the mage one.
But who do I blame for flails?
