What you're not understanding is that in souls games there actually IS an easy mode, its just not a menu selection at the start screen, its that summon, its sorcery, its your shield. These things make the game astronomically easier than it would be if you didn't use them. So when you use this shit and don't actually learn to play and then open your mouth about the game you get told to STFU.

Summons are the "easy mode" and always have been. Elden ring has AI summons. This is easy mode in all but name only. Nothing else is "easy mode." yes shit like BHS and rob are broken and ended nerfed and are crutches for shutters and no they didn't learn the game so they shouldn't be in discussions about it, but the factual easy mode is the summons. It's been that way since des elden ring just gives you broken AI summons that can literally beat the game for you.

The only valid way to play is all STR, no shield, no ranged, only huge 2hander weapons. If you did anything else even once you didn't beat the game. This has always been the rule. Anything else makes your play through effectively journalist mode so nothing you say has any validity the moment you equip a shield. Elden ring boss battles are bad because fromsoft is using the exact same combat system from demons souls and hasnt really changed it up in a fun way. Bloodborne and Sekiro did, but they seem really scared of changing combat in anything other than their funny little side projects
