What do you want in the DLC? I want:
>Cool pure strength wepaons that don't need you to invest into other stats. There's so few of them in the base game.
>One 2v1 boss that redeems Fromsoft. They used to make such cool duo fights but in ER they all suck.
>A cool boss that requires you to use Torrent to beat
>No fricking boss move that nobody really knows the intended way to avoid but people make home-made solutions for it. So no fricking Waterfowl dance 2.0
>>One 2v1 boss that redeems Fromsoft. They used to make such cool duo fights but in ER they all suck.
Duo is literally their best fight. It's a juiced up O&S where there are many strategies to win instead of just roll and poke.
FPWP
i want them to correct their mistake and replace existing shitty dungeons and replace some of the copy pasted bosses with new ones.
Them fixing their multiplayer and adding chalice dungeons on top of their generic dungeons.
I don't want 5 hour long DLC. I want a new game and them developing DLC means it will take longer for their next Souls game to arrive.
They probably making 2-3 games at same time, nobody guessed the arrival of ac6 so I'm excited to see what they're cooking
I just want cool morg blood omen like boss(more ds3 style boss)
>No repeat boss
>Frick dex and magic i want more pure strength that both looks cool and have good attack animation
>No open World bs, need dlc to be a boss rush
>Hopefully some very unique bloodborne style weapon
>And lastly but mostly importantly i want fromsoft TO OPTIMISE THIS DOGSHIT PC PORT
>>No open World bs, need dlc to be a boss rush
This reminded me. I want an option like in Sekiro to replay bosses.
>>No open World bs, need dlc to be a boss rush
thats not DLC its a different game
it's almost 2 years. What the frick happened
1.5 years per DLC
Their parent company is pushing From to make 2 DLCs before 2026
I just hope the DLC is not as shit as the base game
I want a bigger focus on jumping, both in level design and in enemy attacks which can be avoided by jumping.
>Cool pure strength wepaons that don't need you to invest into other stats. There's so few of them in the base game.
Because the game ends at level 170 and will go even higher with the DLC. If you only need one offensive stat it's too easy to soft cap everything relevant.
>One 2v1 boss that redeems Fromsoft. They used to make such cool duo fights but in ER they all suck.
Godskin Duo was kino and had a game worth of buildup to that moment.
>A cool boss that requires you to use Torrent to beat
These two things contradict themselves.
In conclusion, you're a fricking moron.
>substantial settlements with people and quests
>quests that are less cryptic and can be completed without a guide
>factions that you can side with
>more story and less lore
>more substantial choice and consequences
basically I want a reason to actually be invested in the game
What you want is a different game, not DLC.
Boy do I have the game for you!
Honestly what I want most is fricking Covenants and online that isn't completely neutered.
Something new.
Elden Ring already felt too samey and kind of lost my interest, it needs something new, something that makes it feel different from dark souls 3 and like a full step forward for fromsoft instead of a half step at best.
You want Sekiro
I already played and beat sekiro, there's nothing more to enjoy in it.
But yes, I want from to make more games like that, perhaps with actual RPG mechanics or player customization or replay value, but the experimentation and different gameplay was good.
Miquella to be harder than Malenia.
More weapons, spells/miracles and a seal/staff that support INT/FAI builds.
Miquella should be harder than malenia, but not unfair, unlike malenia
Miquella won't be a boss, it will be some ancient unknown Black person like Gael.
EXPLORATION
I NEED TO EXPLORE
I want to do a magic run before the DLC releases but it feels so bad in the beginning. Should I just respec for intelligence for NG+ instead as I already have a big bunch of spells and can start using the fun stuff right away?
Get the meteorite staff and rock sling in Caelid. You can also get an absolutely powerful melee spell named carian slicer in Limgrave
I want more weapons that synergize well when dualwielding, my favorite setup in DS3 was to have a big axe like yorms or dragonslayer greataxe in the offhand giving you hyperarmor and a shockwave stun on whif, paired with a quick straigtsword or club in the main hand. That isn't really an option in ER because big weapons suck while one-handed. I don't like how strength became this two-handed thing, it just gives you less options.
Honestly, how would you take it if they had a generic imp catacomb dungeon like all the others, but when you unlock the boss door and pass through the fog gate, it just goes into a second generic imp catacomb? Appreciate the gag, or is the hate too strong?
A release date.
No DLC will make the game actually good, so what's the point? The open world and no dungeons have absolutely ruined any semblance of fun that souls games had.
just for it to have proper level design and not open world shit. Or just give me a kaiju boss
I want cheeky teleport traps, you only see them early on and it stops after that. My ideal ond would be
>Fight through long grueling area, the type you'd never want to experience twice
>Reach the end
>Find a chest in the middle of an area that sticks out and screams open me
>bonfire in sight but enough of a distance you want to check out the chest first
>Open the chest
>get teleported
>find yourself at the start of the hellish area and you have to do it all again
I want a miquella marriage ending
I want miquella to marry malenia.
that c**t is dead by my hands. miquella
is MINE
>What do you want in the DLC
A release date.
next year, literally year from now
I'd like for the ubishit open world formula to die and for the whole dlc to be in the classic Fromsoft form. With branching "linear" levels, good design and no big fields™ with crappy copy pasted dungeons here and there.
If it's just more of Elden Ring I won't bother reinstalling.
More magic for the under used categories
>rot
>briar
>pest
>death
Without them all being 4 different versions of soul arrow. Which is impossible for from after over a decade of their magic being only that.
More magic. Some schools literally have 2 spells. Either make an effort or don't bother.
Miquella, godwyn, and GEQ lore and boss fights
3d model of miquella's normal form for sfm purposes
I want the DLC to integrate with the base game a lot more than the usual FS DLC. Something more similar to SOTFS but doing more to actually add content to the base game instead of rearranging it.
Other than that:
>more basic gear to use. Some more 'typical' medieval stuff like more gambesons, also a bunch of cool plate designs that aren't jousting armours. Seriously where the FRICK is a good closed helmet
>the fancier stuff having more of a basis in reality. Something I really liked about DS1 and DeS + DS2 to a lesser degree is that most of the unique gear you get looks like it could be feasibly used by a human, and the stuff that couldn't is pretty solely in the realms of the powerful beings like the gods (and even then I'd argue stuff like the GLGS is still relatively utilitarian to a degree). Meanwhile ER's gear looks more... generic fantasy if that makes sense?
>hybrid catalysts. the Glintstone swords should have been able to cast spells, seriously wtf Miyazaki
>expanded multiplayer. Please god almighty give us covenants back. Being able to use horses during MP and a greater portion of the world being traversable in one session. If anything integrate seamless co-op so that people engage with it on the official servers
>technical improvements to the PC port. Ultrawide support, uncapped framerate, a better raytracing implementation
>expanding upon horse combat. More move types. Charge attacks with spears and lances so I can pretend I'm playing Warband
>expanding upon the spell subcategories that have little in them
>maybe reworking some of the copypaste dungeons to be more unique overall, less reused bosses, no idea why they tried doing Chalice Dungeons 2.0
>expanding powerstance compatibility so you can mix and match similar weapon categories like DS2, unique movesets for certain combinations
>reworking jump attacks to be less moronic
>making quests more intuitive
>expanding upon the main quest and scenarios like burning the Erdtree yourself then opting out of FF
I'm wondering if the dlc will be like another edition of the game on top of the typical dlc stuff, like you're saying. That would be great, I could see that. They gotta do something to hype people back up 2 years after release
>time travel
>fight peak Malenia
>fight peak Radahn
Chaos Blade, not just regular hurt self Chaos Blade but Chaos Blade that has an ash of war that's essentially Firestorm and also buffs the weapon with fire
I want Miquella to turn out to be the most evil character in the setting, have some shit like Malenia giving her life force to him and then he stomps her head into the mud a la Maiden in Black
i dont know where to post this
but this has to be the worst elden ring take ever
he is absolutely right
he's talking about the random dungeons in the open world not the legacy dungeons
Yes, they were great.
>the one that has two floors that are duplicates and loop into eachother
That was downright evil.
> Wild take, dungeons had rewarding and powerful loot
If you dont run a magic build the mage towers are worthless
If you dont care about summons the catacombs are worthless
A lot of the dungeons after the first few zones becomes really repetitive and the loot is far from strong and rewarding, you literally loot a herba from one of the dungeon in the starting area
You can outrun everything with torrent
Like the only good content in the open world are the hero's graves and sadly they only made like 3 of them
>of your way and followed their hints.
View npcs gives you hints, most of the time you have to backtrack and search again for some random prostitute crying near a fricking bush and by that time you might as well just check the wiki
>Like holy shit this game had everything for exploration
The open world is probably the worst part of the game, compared to exploring the Legacy Dungeons it's like a totally different game.
One is the main course with rewarding and exciting exploration, loot and lore the other is filler content to please the ubisoft drones happy to just wonder around a huge dead world with barely anything to do.
Nothing but stone digger scorceries. Like twelve new spells just in that category
bring back the bone fist
Bone fist or we riot
multiplayer mounts
I want bosses that actually have recovery frames after attacks. Starting from Margit, they can all just choose to keep flailing at you for as long as they want.
>oh, you dodged my flurry of attacks and wanted to counterattack? Too bad I can still throw out this glowing sword attack the second you press R1
They all have one or two moves that definitively can’t be chained into more attacks, so you COULD be a little b***h and just try to bait out those moves only, but it’s so unfun.
And before you say I’m a casual, I’ve solo’d everything in the game multiple times. I still recognize it as poor game design.
I want… Godskin… TRIO
>triple Malenia
seemless coop
Sex with Malenia
Bro, you just don't get it, waterfowl is totally well-designed - just change your build for a single boss or figure out some arcane solution in a way that literally no other boss in FromSoft history forces you to do
Multiplayer chalice dungeons
I mean, frick, the assets are right there. It's so easy to do and would probably save the shit multiplayer system.
>What do you want in the DLC?
A release date
A little more information about who Marika was, what she wanted, and the nature of her relationship with Radagon.
More bosses that can be poked more than once
I'm tired of roll roll poke roll poke roll roll what's even the point of combo strings and long animation attacks if they can only be used against trash mobs
