At this point, people are expecting TotK-tier overhaul of the game. Personally, I'd settle with them bringing back the cut contents and maybe 1-2 legacy dungeons with Limgrave-sized open world as new content.
I'm not concerned that whatever content there will be will be good, but I'm concerned that the long wait will end up disappointing people if it's not as huge as we are all hoping. Worst case they suspended working on it for a few months and transferred devs to Armored Core or something, and it will end up comparable to The Old Hunters in size.

The only thing I anticipate is the death of FROM, it's just mildly annoying how mediocre and samey all of their games are and morons just beg for more. The gameplay loop is just not satisfying, Elden Ring was such an empty mess I dropped it. I was bored of souls after DaS2 shit the bed on its release, they haven't done anything right since. And no I don't care if they allegedly fixed it, I'm not paying for the opportunity to play a better game when it could have been "fixed" in the first place.
