            heres what I would do
have 1 thievery skill tree with branches for lockpicks, pickpocket and sneak. Instead of having absolutely worthless +easier lockpick enchants you could get items with +1 thievery attribute that enchances all three. Of course you would still have echants that specifically only improve sneak and such. Imo good solution to skyrims 8/10 perks and enchants being completely worthless

Redguards are the original humans in the sense that they are believed to have sailed from a past kalpa but the original men of Tamriel were the Nedes whom are the ancestors of Bretons and Imperials of today

The original men on Tamriel were the nords, you moron. They made the bretons by breeding with elves. Not sure where the imperials came from. The Redguards sailed from some other place in the world that no longer exists.

At this point in time, the people even looking forward to another Bethesda game must be miserable wretches. Skyrim seems to be their one and only game of choice. Starfield didn't hit for multiple reasons. Announced in 2018, but release still years away. I don't envy them, all they have in store is disappointment and anger.

I don't understand why they chose hammerfell
It's so fricking obvious they should go with Akavir, it's the 6th entry!
    VI!!!
    aka[VI]r!!!

Not only that, hammerfell is fricking tiny, it's literally the smallest province, and let me fricking set the record straight. Nobody gives a frick about dessert themed Arabia games. NOBODY. But we all love Asian shit, so it makes sense that it has to be Akavir. It's also the last entry so why not set it on another continent, say that Tamriel got fricked up and people are now refugees.

It's moronic to leave Tamriel this early when we only explored half an elf province (Vvardenfell) and no beast provinces.
The ideal setting for TESVI is picrel, not Akavir or a human game for the 3rd time in a row

homie they made an entire MMO for you to "explore" the continent. And I know you read some fun books written by creative nerds, but the scope of Bethesda imagination is very limited and basically there's nothing to see that's worthwhile. Been there done that

In 2039 when ES7 comes out, we will actually leave Tamriel having never gone to Valenwood or Elswyr in order to explore a new continent with black Nigmer elves (not Dunmer)

Goblins are actually one of the few enemies that don't get faedric equipment.

But goblin warlord HP is fricked, since the gain something like 25 points on level up, which is more than other enemies and isn't capped. Player damage however is capped, so goblin bosses will prove annoying at levels higher than 20

There's no way to have a mainline TES set in Black Marsh and still keep the province's depiction faithful to the lore. Imagine a TES game where you're only allowed to move around the perimeter and you can never move towards the center until the very end of the game or something. It would have to be like the Ghostfence and Red Mountain but 100x more restricted.

          Anonymous

There's all kinds of shit you can do with that. Make the player have the soul of an argonian, make it so that the Hist tree has been weakened lately and other races have been able to move in. Also the world in Elden Ring was incredible in it's design and architecture, so there's no reason it can't be like that in Elder Scrolls.

            Anonymous

            >Make it so that the Hist tree has been weakened lately and other races have been able to move in.
Ok I concede, this is a pretty OK idea in my opinion. It would be enough to suspend my disbelief, but the move towards the Hist center would still need to be gradual. Maybe the world map is split into separate layers and you progress through the game by unlocking new layers. Admittedly, no other TES game is structured like this, and we both know Todd wouldn't have the balls to pull this shit in the first place.
            >Make the player have the soul of an argonian
This is a shit idea. The MC may have some kind of connection to the Hist but it should be for some other reason. The problem is that Argonians are already naturally linked to the Hist while non-Argonians would need separate justification. Maybe you start off as an average person, Argonian or not, and the *real* connection happens later in the story. Maybe you progress towards an inner layer, the furthest point people have reached during the Hist's weakened state. The Hist are in panic mode, so they built a huge barrier around them which nobody can pass, except their most deeply linked and devout Argonian forces. This is so that as an Argonian outsider, you wouldn't be able to pass the wall either and it seems believable. Sometime when you reach this part, you drink some kind of super exclusive, rare Hist sap that fully mentally binds non-Argonians to the Hist, and heightens regular Argonians' link as well, finally letting you pass towards the very center of Black Marsh. Oblivion's Fighters Guild already showed that even non-Argonians drinking Hist sap experience some mind-altering properties, meaning there is lore precedent for this.

Oh boy, what an organic thread totally not made by a paid shill to stir up a discussion about a half-dead franchise less and less people give a shit about since Shartfield failed and people are tired of playing the smart-fridge edition of Skyrim.
Fire that failure Pagliarulo, bring back Soule, make a new goddamn engine and introduce actual rpg-elements into your new game.
