Piracy is dead
Anyone remotely skilled enough to tackle modern software protection is doing it as a job. You have to be legitimately schizophrenic to want to not only engage with the technical aspects for no pay (or little pay, comparatively), but also put up with the hordes of screeching third worlders asking you to "crack game plz".
Piracy isn't fishing serials or NOP'ing a few bytes for IRC clout anymore. The scene is dead.
t. Malware analyst
t. works as a corporate slave doing pentesting
If you think there aren't teen slavs running circles around you for free you're delusional. Just go on rutracker and you will find most gsmes you want cracked
I don't do pentesting.
A lot of my coworkers are Slavic.
You have no idea what you're talking about, which is fine.
Rutracker is just a tracker, you moronic larper. At best there are people who do their own repacks, you won't find anyone there who is actually cracking games.
>You have to be legitimately schizophrenic to want to not only engage with the technical aspects for no pay
Which is exactly the case.
>You have to be legitimately schizophrenic
Or be a saint.
Even a saint have their limits and sure as shit it's gonna run out fast when you're facing with poorgays who keep nagging you for free shit.
That was the entire purpose of the scene, release free software for the masses. So you have no fricking idea what you're talking about.
That the scene stopped renovating itself, because newer generations are either brainlets or egotistical c**ts, yeah that part is true. But it was never about money, it was about the challenge and the ideal.
>it was about the challenge and the ideal.
But it wasn't challenging before. Now it is and they all flaked. That's the whole point of this reply chain moron. you lost
As scene shrinked idealists mostly went to crack tooling, as those deemed more important. Autodesk, Adobe, Maxon products etc.
So you're saying I shouldn't use """her""" releases?
Suck my dick denuvo employee
Just get on private trackers or get into private piracy circles. Anyone who claims that piracy is "dead" or "dying" quite simply isn't aware of how close-knit and capable these groups are. I know because I am part of one.
>for no pay (or little pay, comparatively)
You are right, however in private groups you do things to help others, not for monetary gains.
t. altruistic software engineer
Does it matter at that point then if the crack is only available for a small group? Only one group is actively doing denuvo cracks for the public while the rest gave up, got poached, or worst case scenario, got arrested. It doesn't really matter if one small group cracked the game and doesn't release it, it doesn't affect anything if they don't release it.
I suppose you're right. Publicly available pirated content is definitely degrading.
Although this is exactly how it was 20+ years ago, atleast where I lived. You didn't get pirated content (such as anime on VHS, or a cracked game CD) unless you were part of a circle or was friends with someone who was in said circles.
This publicly available piracy may be past it's golden age or maybe it's only a matter of time until it has a resurgence, but it's definitely not looking up for them.
>Just get on private trackers or get into private piracy circles
You want me to socialize? Pffft
Lmaoing at your life, it's not like private trackers have super secret Denuvo crackers, and you can definitely find most shit on public trackers.
>it's not like private trackers have super secret Denuvo crackers
How can you tell? This isn't a case of "I haven't seen it so it's definitely false" right?
>and you can definitely find most shit on public trackers
This is true however. Most cracked content is circulated among the vast majority of both public and private trackers.
>How can you tell?
I have friends who dabble in private trackers, and I've seen enough piracy discussion to know they don't exist. I think you want to make it seem like I'm wrong without outright lying.
I admit there probably are crackers who upload to private exclusively/first, but all that shit gets siphoned out quickly anyway, and most non-Denuvo cracks nowadays just use pre-baked cracking tools anyway.
> most non-Denuvo cracks nowadays just use pre-baked cracking tools anyway.
I honestly find it strange that with all of the "muh games stolen" rhetoric that not many people just crack their own games considering how stupidly easy it is. If you even need cheevos there's the smart steam emu overlay to help you with your virtual drugs.
There is literally no reason to do it. Schizo monitoring your ratio 24/7 and you won't have access to anything you really wanted. It's the Game Pass of piracy.
>Schizo monitoring your ratio 24/7
Some groups allows users to ignore ratios after you've been part of the tracker for like 5 years or some other requirements like uploading 1TB total.
>and you won't have access to anything you really wanted
I am aware that there are trackers where this is the case. However, some invitationals have no limit on what you can download provided that you seed it back for like 2 days.
>You're not going to find anything not on newsgroups on shitty moron private trackers, you stupid idiot.
Sucks to be you, but I understand your frustration. If I didn't have a good experience with private trackers which actually features content I like, then probably I would also have a closed mindset of "piracy is dead" and "crackers are gone except for empress".
>you're close minded!
No, you fricking moron, there are no groups cracking denuvo games other than Empress. Private trackers and public trackers both get releases from usenet.
>Private trackers and public trackers both get releases from usenet.
Except if the group has someone who cracks it themselves and uploads it exclusively to their own place right? Anyways, I'm not here to sway you. You can believe whatever makes you sleep better.
Their own place? You're so stupid it must hurt to live. There's no "own place" in the scene, they're released on newsgroups, specifically so they can't be traced back.
Who the frick is talking about the scene?
I'm talking about a few talented individuals in (relatively, compared to public trackers) close-knit communities who only share projects with those who are part of it.
You're talking about the scene, they're the people who crack the software.
You know, a quick read on the subject would prevent you from looking like a stupid butthole.
You're an idiot, Empress is the only person or group cracking denuvo, they used to crack for Codex. You're not going to find anything not on newsgroups on shitty moron private trackers, you stupid idiot.
How many of your secret superslav hackers can crack Denuvo?
>actually lots of them I just won't tell you who or show any evidence you just have to trust that I'm not some moron making shit up!
lol
lmao
>You have to be legitimately schizophrenic
where do you think we are?
>I'm trans btw
>Waaah the scene is dead trust me, Im a professional!
Do you homosexuals actually think you're fooling anybody?
They hated him, because he spoke the truth.
my fitgirl will never do that, that's why she's the bestgirl.
That's because they repack games, they don't crack anything.
HRT ain't cheap
Just boil a few plastic bags bro
>pc piracy
compared to what, Switch Piracy? kek
>he doesn't know
honestly true, anything trannies do aint good
>anything trannies do aint good
Anon, 100% trannies eat and drink water while 59% of trannies don't kill themselves yet.
Aren't troons the number one compulsive spenders?
What is so surprising about a mentally ill troony who doesn't have a job shilling NFTs?
I'd rather fund empress with NFTs than pay for a denuvo game.
I've read that empress is a troon, and i've also read that actually fitgirl is the troon.
Well, which one is it?
empress isn't a troony she's a disgusting slav femcel, fitgirl is a group that doesnt crack games
Someone leaked her sexts, she tops guys with her penis.
The saving grace for Denuvo is that it's relatively expensive to license and they probably have to keep paying fees for it which is why they eventually remove Denuvo from games.
Only if they want to release updates, there's no perpetual fees for keeping old games on denuvo.
Not true anymore. Denuvo changed to a subscription.
based if true, source?
Source: games now removing Denuvo after a year or two. Irdeta doesn't show any pricing info on their page, but it's a change I've been hearing about a lot in the piracy circles.
Oh wait, I found something
https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-x443idlstvufi
>lets make up some random shit, that will stop piracy
Lmao, nice try paypig
How is arxan compared to denuvo? The latest armored core has it i think.
Easier to crack. RDR2 and GTA5 had it.
What the frick is this c**t cracking next anyway? Last one was RE4 Remake and that was a month ago already
God, I hope it's Redfall. I might even donate the 500 bucks so everyone can enjoy it.
You probably have to pay those 500 bucks for someone to even try it.
She announced that from now on, she's going to only reveal the next game to one person willing to BDSM ERP with her. This is not a joke.
No way. Link?
https://t.me/EmpressRevolution
Kek I love the absolutely deranged shit pirates do
Following Empress is a fricking rollercoaster. The unhinged rants about men and trannies during the Hogwarts cracking were being posted on an almost daily basis.
It's funny Ganker shits on her for being a "troony" when she's over there reposting their schizoid rants about trannies.
>turning hate against men into sadomasochistic sexual actions against men in a private chat
she needs a real boyfriend
Empress is possibly a literal schizo troony. She'd hate trannies because she's a "real woman", albeit with a magical penis given by Allah (swt).
what the frick am i reading
Holy shit
I think that's just schizoing out about an enlarged clit.
It's more likely just schizoing about having a regular dick and AGP delusions like most troons
>she
>her
>she
Doesn't really have a choice. When you know a strong majority of the people aware of you assume you're a troony, and you've (so far) successfully cultivated an iron-clad veil of secrecy, the last thing you can afford to do is support (or even publicly tolerate) trannies. Whether Empress is a troony or not, ever missing an opportunity to shit on trannies will irrevocably shift public opinion in favor of the "is a troony" camp. Both of the hypotheticals,
>Empress-as-TERF
>Empress-as-ashamed-transexual
have a rational motivation to act the same way.
I think you vastly overestimate the importance of what /misc/tards think about a random anonymous cracker. You calling Empress a troony on Ganker doesn't cause her any harm. Public opinion doesn't matter, she's only interested in cultivating her little circlejerk and cracking games. People who hate trannies don't even have the luxury of refusing to use Empress cracks, since she has a monopoly.
You're the only person talking about /misc/.
Anyway, you said it yourself:
>she's only interested in cultivating her little circlejerk and cracking games.
Her circlejerk and ERPing community directly tie to her being seen as a woman (this fact does not change, whether she is a woman or not). To that extent, public perception is critical. As it stands, enough people believe Empress is a woman for the circlejerk to sustain itself, but that stability for granted would be foolish.
Not the anon you're replying to but at the end of the day people's perception of Empress doesn't matter as long as Empress has a monopoly on Denuvo cracking.
Being revealed as a transgender dude won't make people stop paying for and begging for cracks because that's all that matters.
Dead Space remake, i hope.
Not giving EA a cent of my money.
Probably some stupid shit again. Like redfall or whatever junk ubisoft has left uncracked
Empress only cracks mainstream AAA games. She will never crack anime games or Hi-Fi Rush.
Of course it's the popular shit! Miku isn't getting a crack, is she?
NFT's are still a thing? I thought it got BTFO?
How come a mentally ill troony freak is the only one who knows how to crack denuvo?
She/he/it's not.
Just the only person mentally ill enough to be bothered cracking AAA cancer.
he's not the only one, there's another group but they only crack football manager every year
There's also CPY, but they only pop up every few years, drop a bunch of games then disappear.
CPY released denuvo cracks every year from 2016 to 2020. they don't "pop up every few years", they used to pop up every year and then disappeared.
Football chads keep on winning.
M-my knee..
Because anyone with those levels of skill and commitment who isn't a schizo narcissist has an actual security-related job and won't risk their comfortable salary by being associated with illegal groups. They literally have "don't do hacker shit on your own time" clauses in their contract and would get their pants sued off if they were caught.
I have pirated most of the things in my life - games, movies, music, my bike and even the books that I copy pasted from for my thesis work. Piracy is a way of living and therefore can not die.
Aye aye captain. I simply will not pay for anything, if I cant pirate it I will not use it.
Piracy and cracking was never done out of the kindness of the pirates' heart: it was a business.
On third world countries people don't have they money to buy games but they could afford to have basic computers and modded consoles so for decades pirates made a living selling cracked games for 1/10 the price of a legal copy.
Today thanks to Steam and other digital storefronts bringing regional prices or even allowing people on poor countries to buy games at all, increasingly difficult piracy for both PC games and consoles and said crackers actually finding well-paid jobs there is little reason to crack games. Especially something as time-consuming to crack as Denuvo.
>Piracy and cracking was never done out of the kindness of the pirates' heart: it was a business.
lmao
homie we still dont have regional prices
That's not how it worked back in the day though. People just bought the pirated game's disk from a computer shop, the actual people involved with the cracking were too far removed. The ones making a profit were the people who downloaded the cracks and burnt the disks.
That's literally how it worked because broadband internet was something most people couldn't afford at the time. The people from the PC and console stores bought the burned disks from the pirates.
No, the people who worked at the stores had broadband themselves, they downloaded the games with the cracks and sold them. I assure you the people who worked at the stores wouldn't have bought the cracked games.
>No, the people who worked at the stores had broadband themselves
No they didn't, because it was impractical and broadband was very, very expensive back then.
You're talking as a first worlder, where broadband was accessible to everyone.
Not that Anon, I'm from a post-commie country and you're utterly delusional if you think pirate markets were supplied by the cracking scene themselves. In the 90s, most of it was run by university students exploiting university internet access to download warez. By the late 90s/early 00s internet access was an investment made by the peddler, by mid 00s paid piracy was effectively dead outside of bumfrick nowhere villages as broadband dropped in price and became common.
not with square enix games, frick them.
I can believe I mostly play capcom game now, I don't even like most of BoF game except dragon quarter because I like the setting.
>selling cracked games for 1/10 the price of a legal copy
homie shut the frick up you dont know shit
Buying craked / pirated games is literally how I played games, how everyone in my country played games. In my third world country It has been barely a decade and a half since broadband became something accessible to people.
Piracy has always been a business, not some "¡viva la revolución!" political statement. Empress charging for cracks is just the modern form of it.
i also have same collection of pirated cd because before internet become cheap here getting a legit copy is so hard and most of these copies are ripped or modded
>The absolute state of troons
ftfy
modern games aren't worth cracking
typical troony narcissism
Why anons don't crack Denuvo themselves instead of being dependent on a crazed woman?
If you browse Ganker you're already someone smarter than the average person so anons shouldn't have any trouble finding how Empress did it, and if cracking Denuvo is just tedious then several anons dividing the work between themselves should make it faster and less tedious.
There are several anime and Japanese games I want to play and Empress ain't going to crack them so someone else should do it.
To be fair the games that use Denuvo aren't worth playing in the first place.
A small but pretty telling example is how of all the Souls-likes (both the From Software originals and the imitators made by other developers) the only ones who use Denuvo are Lords of the Fallen and Code Vein, the absolute nadir of the genre.
I can donate to the people taking money out of shoelware dev's mouths? Hell yeah brother
>yeah bro people crack denuvo in private tracker groups with 5 users and don't share it with anyone else trust me bro
>Pirates downfall ultimately end up being their own greed
Kino.
