I hate it when designated 'hard enemies' and bosses are just straight-up immune to some of your attacks because they're supposed to be hard. Xenoblade 3 was godawful with this and debuffs, it just ruined some classes.
Same thing in the new Zelda games. Why can't I set a Lynel on fire?

I hate games where you have elemental attacks only in name

Spell immunities are the only thing I really hate about Vanilla WoW, it's just moronic design that fricks over every caster except for Mages.
Like there's nothing interesting about being a priest and finding out that the mob you have to go kill 30 of for a quest is immune to your wand's damage type. It'd be stupid to say it's to encourage group player when WoW very definitely was designed from the beginning to be focused on playing solo.
If I ever made Classic+ literally the only change I'd make is removing spell immunities.
