anti-Sinnoh schizos love bdsp because they think it proves their point

I liked them but they have 3 big cons:
      - Character hitboxes are really bad.
      - Friendship system ruins the experience.
      - No battle frontier.

I find it just okay (but it's still overall the most enjoyable Sinnoh game aside from PLA)

    >"enough time has passed"
exactly how long is that period? is it a gradual improvement once the date is being approached or does the game somehow go from good to bad once the clock strikes 12 on a certain day?

Does anybody else get tired of pretending that enough time hasn't passed? Thoughts on games for this feel?

BDSP are the worst game in the franchise and arguably the entire video game industry. It’s literally using code that wasn’t made for its own engine. It’s a game that doesn’t account for its own mechanics. It’s shit. It ruining a great game makes it even worse.
    Also, you should QoL yourself.

I literally explained why, you fricking Black person. It’s reusing the code of a 15 years old DS game, and it doesn’t even account for its own exp share system or mon distribution. You catch mons and they register as ??? in the dex.

    >Faithful to the original
That may just be a negative in this instance.
Heart Gold and Soul Silver added many QoL improvements AND new features rhat justified buying the same game with modern graphics. Ironically when people complain about game remakes not being faithful to their originals its is all for reasons Pokemon has not done
    >adding/changing characters for the worse
Zinnia I think was invented for ORAS and everyone loved her
    >censoring or streamlining certain features if not taking them away
Nobody complained about the HGSS game corner changes even if they werent made for QoL reasons
What new content was there? Were Dialga and Palkia's origin crystals even in the game or was that just a Legends thing?
I'm not even knocking BDSP as bad, whay I am saying is I saw very little reason to buy it. If it modernized the generation with features or added more I could change my tune. Hell, if I were honest I have actually never played Platinum! So if they had remade Plat or even made Diamond and Pearl with all of Platinum's features I may have felt differently. Alas FRLG and HGSS have spoiled me, but despite this we know that mantra of remake development just isn't coming back and I'm just not interested in buying this experience again.

    peak of the franchise
Let's Go, a game designed for literal toddlers, looks better than this garbage.
to the original but also adds lots of QoL improvements
I love my Infernape having a free focus sash, a free full heal, a brightpowder, and a scope lens all in one thing, in a game that was never balanced around all those things happening at once!
was a fun way to get lots of rare pokémon
You know what would've been even better? Taking Platinum's encounter tables, adding several Diamond & Pearl exclusives depending on the game, and using those. The Grand Underground is a complex (and not even the good kind at that) solution for something that could've been far simpler.
are better than in gen 3 and 4
The are the worst contests in the history of Pokémon. It's just a mediocre rhythm game. Really says a lot when Gen 6's contests are better, and those suffered from intense casualization.
    >>Best Battle Tower of any game
One facility. Just one. Compared to the 5 Platinum and HGSS had and Emerald's 7? And guess what. Both Battle Frontiers had far better facilities than BDSP's Battle Tower ever will. (Yes, even the Battle Palace.)
    experience overall
If I wanted to play Sinnoh, I'd boot up Platinum or even the original Diamond and Pearl. BDSP is a complete waste of money and time. The most use this shit has, is to rent it from a library for a minute, create save data, and use that data for Darkrai in PLA.

I hate you. I hate contrarian shitposters like you who don't actually play the games. I hate the fact that the actual good Pokémon games can't get actual threads anymore without them devolving into genwarring bullshit because of you.

There. I responded to your bait. Are you happy now?

      it literally doesn't
Let's Go is by far the ugliest pokémon game

You're insane, scarlet/violet or sword and shield look 10x worse than lets Go, it's genuinely the only good looking switch pokemon game. Shame the gameplay sucks wiener

Scarlet and Violet look infinitely better though

The only part of Let's Go people liked visually was the 10fps viridian forest

Let's Go is by far the ugliest pokémon game

    >Visual peak of the franchise
You showed the only part of the game that looks good: Battles. The rest of the game looks like shit.

    >Best Battle Tower of any game
It is brutally mogged by the Tree in terms of balance and team-building potential. BDSP’s Master Singles is wildly overtuned, as well. Not too hard; just restrictively difficult.
