What the frick do you mean? Is there another meaning to "take place in the same universe?"
All games made by the developer share the same fictional universe
So why repeat it twice?
Pic unrelated?
pic related
Nah, it's unrelated. V3 doesn't happen in the same universe as Danganronpa 1 to 3.
RC doesn't happen in Danganronpa's universe either until proven otherwise.
tru
v3 and DR1, 2, and 3 can't.
You're out of your mind if you think they're not going to connect RC to DR.
They can if you accept the actual revelation of V3: V3 is the only actual universe and DR1, SDR2, and DR3 were just in-universe media. Nothing about V3 suggests that there is a parallel reality where the Hope’s Peak Saga actually happened and the characters involved actually existed. V3 debunked all the games that game before it and rendered their storylines invalid and null and void. Only V3’s events are canon to the current fictional universe of Danganronpa as it exists now. Go ahead. Try to disprove this. (You can’t.)
years later and people are still doing this. YOU ARE PATHETIC
>No refutation
>Responds with anger and namecalling
Concession accepted
imagine being so moronic that you'll have this same fricking argument literally 6 years after the game came out. anybody actually trying to refute you is a complete fool or just played the game.
>Ad hominem
>”Play the game”
All I’m hearing is concession. I played the game. Explain how the ending can be interpreted literally any other way and/or why it should not be taken at face value.
>”Play the game”
I never told you to play the game moron, try reading the post more carefully next time
>ad hominem
why bring up logical fallacies if I'm not arguing with you? I'm calling you an idiot for thinking this is a constructive thing to talk about. you're so autistic anon, it's hilarious.
It's funny how he replied to you but ignored everyone else. He can't actually defend his point so he went for the low hanging fruit.
You'll have to explain why the main character of RC looks exactly like Kyoko and why Shinigami looks and acts exactly like Junko.
because the creator cant make anything other than dangronpa games
Simple: Raincode is also fictional, part of a separate but connected franchise to DR, and the artists behind it simply decided to take some visual cues from the earlier sister-franchise.
>DR1 is media in V3, therefore DR1 takes place in the same universe as V3
This is your argument? Because that proves the exact opposite.
By your logic, Mario takes place in our universe because it is media in our universe.
Irrelevant. It doesn’t take place in a separate universe either, because it’s not real. A book within a book does not take place in a different universe from the actual book, it simply exists within it as media.
>A book within a book does not take place in a different universe from the actual book
Yes it does. This is where you're wrong.
DR1 isn't "a book within a book" though, since it actually exists as a separate piece of media.
"A book within a book" would be like the anime Hifumi talks about. They exist as media in the story, but not in real life. But when Hifumi makes a reference to a real-world anime, that doesn't mean that anime now only exists in Danganronpa as media and stops existing on its own.
stop feeding into his bullshit, no matter what you do some fricking moron will keep spouting this
Except THH, SDR2, and DR3 all exist as media inside V3’s universe, and they are actually two games and an anime, not staged reality shows like the rest of the “Seasons”. Thus making them, for the purpose of V3’s storyline, games within a game (and an anime within a game).
>Except THH, SDR2, and DR3 all exist as media inside V3’s universe, and they are actually two games and an anime, not staged reality shows like the rest of the “Seasons”.
This is all true. However, it does not support your conclusion. V3 does not take place in the same universe as the other games BECAUSE they exist as media in V3. Just like how Mario and Zelda and Star Wars and Harry Potter all exist as media in real life - those stories do not take place in the universe you and I live in.
Fair enough, That is true.
>He conceded
Wait what? I thought he’d keep going! Booooooo!
I reject your concession
The only way you could think that is if you didn't actually play RC. It's clearly a different setting.
See:
and
. Cope, seethe, dilate, and rope.
My three games (different genres and time periors) all take place in the same universe because I couldn't be bothered to think of new names of cities and countries and people. So now I get to read theories from players on discord and reddit on the timeline of the games and what happened to city such and such that turned it into a ruin or maybe it was a ruin in the past and now it's been rebuilt.
I feel like such a hack sometimes.
Alright then, what are your games?
I didn't want to advertise, just to make a confession.

V3’s Ending absolutely mindbroke the entire community.
