People tell me that Sonic is a franchise for furries, and then they go and play this game where the characters are prancing around on all fours and saying "meow".
I tried enjoying this game with a bunch of peeps, but each and every friends group would end up bored at the 2nd world. The co-op aspect wasn't as funny as NSMB's.
I thought it was OK after playing through it on the Switch release that speeds player movement way the frick up. Playing it on Wii U would probably be torture. Though my main takeaway from the game ultimately was "why wasn't this on 3DS?"
Just like Frozen Dong. People hated the Wii U but it had some of the best games Nintendo has ever made. And had they not purposely gimped botw on wii u the game would have been even better. Sucks it's not possible to play it the way it was originally intended

I don't know about that but I would put them over most of the Switch's exclusives.
New, younger generation that doesn't know any better, plays new-gen game and sets it as their new benchmark, when in reality the general quality of the games are just realistically getting worse over time, and some older fans are able to recognize this.
You've almost got it. It's more that whatever you played when you were 12 is your favorite and you think everything after that is somehow worse no matter what.
Nah, Zelda is legitimately getting worse with each and every passing gen though. ToTK was a first for the franchise when it came to map-recycling.
Granted outside of Mario Galaxy 2, it didn't get that bad for the Mario franchise, but Odyssey was full of empty padding and the casualization in difficulty (or lack thereof) is reaching its breaking point.
I'd say WW was the start of the decline for mainline 3D Zelda. Meanwhile 2D Zelda doesn't even get games anymore outside of the occasional cheap remake.
It's now on a system more than 6 people own.
>everyone loves it
no I fricking hate it
worst 3D mario by a country mile
it has a 93 on metacritic they clearly liked it enough for that 9+ rating.
I loved it when it came out
Odyssey was soulless garbage so it made all the previous 3D Marios look better retroactively.
My opinions have not changed, I still think 3D Land is better.

Meow, homie
I wish I had friends to play this with. Same as the NSMB titles.
>hated
>now everyone loves it What happened?
They made a mod that gives Peach and Rosalina huge boobs, finally making the game playable.
>no jiggle
every fricking time
If it didn't have jiggle bones in the first place it can't add them mate
Do they make a BOI-OI-OING sound every time they jump? If not it's soulless.

3D World pales in comparison to 3D Land.
They removed all the shitty forced Gamepad gimmicks.

Getting Hyrule Warriors off of the Wii U and off of the 3DS was well worth the wait.

I still hate it.
The "Zelda Cycle" scenario.

And yet a link to the past was better than zelda II so that obviously isn't true.

3D world is one of the most casual games I've ever played. You can barely even call it a platformer.
>zelda fans are so self obsessed they name a cycle that's applicable to any franchise and think its specific to zelda
Nah he is just a gay and doesn't know what the "Zelda Cycle" means. Though it no longer applies to Zelda conversations anyway since BoTW anyway.
Sunshine is better.
