Every single shooter should have infinite ammo. The game is about the gunplay, so it's moronic that you can run out and just not interact with the main gameplay system anymore

Say what you want about Infinite. But this is how you make the player care about an NPC. Have them be actually useful in gameplay.
Ammo management decisions are also gameplay. Don't deny yourself gameplay, anon.
But is it fun?
Shooting is just one aspect of FPS games. Movement, map awareness, ammo management, etc. are all parts of the genre as well.
That depends on how the developer designed it
Thinking about, making ammo unlimited but making the game about going apeshit with the guns actually sounds very fun.
>fast fire rates
>fast reloads
>all bullets bounce
>very low health/durability/high damage enemies, have to defeat enemies very quickly
imagine the meta of shooting random parts of the map to try and slaughter the enemy team at round start
I prefer the Halo approach where you have limited ammo and you're swapping out fit random weapons your enemies drop.
at least have the option for those who want it
100% of the time i die its not because i ran out of ammo. im all for infinite ammo
Must be so weird being a complete fricking mongoloid
Do you not consider the playing having to consider reserving ammo to be good game design? I think infinite ammo could work in shooters, but you'd need to design them with that.
Though I can't think of a single game barring the DMC franchise where you have infinite ammo.
Bioshock Infinite was the shittiest game ever, designed for morons like (You).
>bioshock infinite
>your shock is not infinite
>your bio health is not infinite
>your ammo is not infinite
What were they thinking?
>team game with infinite ammo
>players on both sides just camp chokepoints spraying a never ending barrage of lead
>crossing chokepoint is a guaranteed instant death
>game ends 0:0 draw
its not a good idea for multiplayer
I almost never run out of ammo, so honestly I might as well have infinite for most weapons. The only ones that really matter are rockets/grenades/etc that have 1-5 shots
Why isn't there an option to kill campers like grenades? Sounds like bad game design already. Also most games give you near infinite ammo anyways, but I've never seen people just unload down a corner like that. Furthermore, if you could just camp chokepoints by praying, then you could camp those chokepoints without spraying. Again sounds like shit map design to me
Now you have unlimited grenades. If you think of anyway for that to be enjoyable you have brain problems
Funny how you cant defend your original complaints, almost like they were moronic. Also learn to read, as I already said limited grenades is good
Limited grenades isn't good though, using grenades is FUN so anything that makes me do less of it is bad
Sorry for wanting to have FUN in games
Fair enough, but that anon was being moronic. Honestly I like the idea of having a limit that regenerates over time, so while you can throw say 3 grenades, you might need to wait a minute until you can throw another or something like that. At least for multiplayer
I don't understand how they could frick up the name so much.
>System Shock takes place in a space station with an AI
>makes sense since System refers to computers and sci-fi
>Bioshock takes place in an underwater city
>makes sense since bio means water
So why did Infinite take place in a flying city? Should have called the game Aeroshock.
sense since bio means water
it means life
Water is life moron
yeah in that life flourishes where there is water
turns out that's also the case for air
That's like saying,
>There should never be fall damage or bottomless puts in platfrmers, I should be able to jump and jump higher and higher however may times I press the button, being able to miss jumps is moronic, I hate challenge and I am gay.
>There should never be fall damage or bottomless puts in platfrmers
Based and correct
Game Overs are a failure of the game designer
Broccoli is food, not a hair style.
Enjoy your yellow paint movie games.
You don't know what the hell you're talking about
>Implement Dark Souls style stamina
>99% of the combat is designed around infinite stamina ala God Eater
nice facebook boomer meme moron
OP feels how I feel about crafting in a video game. There is no fun in doing chores. Going around collecting resources isn't fun, and isn't creative. Crafting isn't fun in 99% of games that use it. It's a fricking chore.
resource management is probably the most important take away skill from vidya, if there ever was one.
uh huh, this game had it the worst
>two weapon limit, with their own ammo pools
>finally upgrade them
>brand new of the same 'gun' but they have no upgrades since they werent available
>get to wounded knee aftermath boss fight in the courtyard
>LITERALLY NOT ENOUGH AMMO TO KILL EVERYONE
>FORCED TO RUN AROUND LIKE A FRICKING moron UNTIL I GET SALTS OR AMMO FROM MY moronic VENDINGMACHINE ON WHEELS
literal cancer, the people who made this game never played on the higher difficulties
>play on higher difficulty
>it's more difficult
WTF?!?!?
Just play Titanfall 2 if that's what you want. Leave other games alone
Elizabeth was always there for you in a pinch.
just don't miss
If I made a game you would have to make most of your ammo with a reloading press.
