It wasn't as good as I was hoping.
Well I mean they're just not taking it anywhere.
The raiding scene is pretty small all things considered.
They time gate weekly shit and put a hard stop on getting the best gear unless you're fricking subbed all year round.
That's not fun, man.
People will say oh well just make the crafted gear or the tomestone gear why do savage and that's true you don't NEED BiS for everything but get the frick outta here locking behind such things.
The game feels like a chore sometimes.
That's not how it's supposed to be, but it is definitely more often than not.

Personally after finishing 6.0 I got the feeling there'll never be a highpoint in the story like Endwalker. You gotta remember the main story lasted a whole decade. I think the buildup payed off, but I don't think the story that's being worked on now is gonna top what we've already seen.

They couldn't even give us real content for once either and the story sucked dick.
And don't give me that bullshit about not paying attention to the story, I get what happened but all of them were moronic in their own way. Not one fricking character was justified in their actions. It had decent side-quests though the crafter quests in particular were top-tier compared to the fricking MSQ.
And they all come together at the end to top it all off.

That's exactly right, not a single solitary FFXIV thread was ever made on Ganker exactly 24 hours after Endwalker released. Nobody on the planet ever mentioned or thought about it until OP broke through the barriers and remembered such a game existed.

there are already 2 lalas in the scions though
you only see tataru once every blue moon and krile a bit much but hardly enough to realize shes there,i think graha has got more screen time than krile at this point

Major story release, afterwards is mostly just meh until next expac. Simply put, it showed off what it needed to, and now we're in the build up until whatever frick else they plan to do.
The game has a thread up on Ganker every single hour of every single day since endwalker released and won't stop talking about it. What the frick are you smoking OP?
the story was great but XIV endgame has never been its strong suit. It caters way too much to casuals who only have like a few hours a week to play. I plan on coming back for the story in the future because I do really enjoy it, but they really need to work on post-story content and player retention.
Mostly because Ganker is no place to talk about MMOs, or VNs, or gacha, or Pokemon, or RTS, or old games, or AAA games, or indies.
Sometimes I wonder why the frick do I lurk this board.
