Unless you just don't ever watch TV shows or other movies, you've probably had dozens of jokes and references whiz over your head because you didn't realize they came from a Disney film. Say what you will about Disney "sanitizing" the source material of their classics, but there's a good reason people think so highly of them to this day. If nothing else, just listen to the music.
