gen 2 doesn't have random eyeballs slapped on its tail for no fricking reason when literally only one gen 2 pokemon does that (also NONE of the pokemon have giant black pupils for their eyespots, I have no fricking clue why the moron artist added that) and gen 3 doesn't have a skirt slapped on it for no fricking reason when literally only one gen 3 pokemon does that.
the gen 5 and 6 ones also aren't accurate at all and both gens have way too varied designs to make a condensed version like that.
Gen 3 also has different ears, pink markings around the eyes and has the upper-body be Lime Green instead of Yellow Zelkova
the gen 5 one feels like the artist looked at throh and sawk, maybe emolga or zebstrika, and went "yup that's what every gen 5 mon is like"

It's a Sun, based on the mark that SUNbears have. This is also why it's a ring, as the origin of the word is related to words about the Sun.

A bloated lardass covered in spikes honestly doesn't really convey generic gen 4 pokemon design very well. The "fat" pokemon and the "spike" pokemon feel like two very distinct groups in gen 4, like Lucario and Togekiss don't have anything remotely in common design-wise.

I hated bidoof by default when gen 4 came out but that comic made me like it even though the game was slow and boring shit until you can pvp (used action replay to have perfect pokemom because the intended way was unplayable... never even thought for 1 second to actually iv train my pokemon ever when I've been using game genie and action replay forever and the game was extremely slow dogshit) game was gay as frick and extremely shitty.
And I didn't even have action replay for ds, my friend gave me one that's the only reason I tried wifi pvp which was fun. If he didn't give me one I just wouldn't have done it because the game was slow boring unplayable dogshit. Yoshis island on ds was frickin shit to.
