Audino
I mean moth bro evolves at 59
that's Unova for you
>that's SOUL for you
Thanks! I love Unova!
If it evolved earlier you'd never see it since you'd encounter it after it evolved. That's the only reason any mon evolves at any level, it's all just where they're placed.
Not really, retard. Only Unova does this bullshit because it's a bullshit gen. Check Alola dex distribution; the pseudo evolved after leveling it up once. Check Kalos dex, etc etc etc.
I'm sorry that you think you understood what I said, the world must be a confusing place to you. But no, nothing you said is contrary to what I said.
They could've just made it appear on lower levels in the wild. Like how in RBY Victory Road you get Machop, Geodude and Zubat at level 22-26, but also Golbat, Machoke and Graveler at 41-42.
What does that have to do with it evolving at 39?
what's the point of these useless pokemon that evolve so late? Like, I seriously doubt anyone has ever used a tynamo because it's so useless and you can just wait long enough in the game to evolve it.
same for other shitmons that evolve/can be found late, like venonat, psyduck (apart from platinum, but still) etc
this, although it'd be better if you found it early on in-game. A tynamo could be useful until like gym 3, then it's useless
>venonat
They should have kept Yellow's change of putting it in Cerulean.
Are you autistic or just dumb?
That anon is right. You meet it late into the game, you want to have it for a few levels and evolve it later. If it evolved earlier, you'd see only the evolved version, what's the point?
>the pseudo evolved after leveling it up once
and that's a problem
Yes, and it was introduced in Unova. They just didn't change its evolution level.
>Check Kalos dex
Skrelp too
Skrelp's evo level pisses me off, it evolves like 10 levels later than its counterpart just because it's a dragon type which is fucking retarded. If I remember correctly it even has LESS bst than Clawitzer.
Why are those counterparts?
Version exclusive pair
Dragalge is nice though, glad they made a Poison Dragon in the game that introduced Fairy
i always thought dragalge's evolution level must've been a typo that was never fixed, since it's 48 and clawitzer is 37
That's such a retarded excuse. You can have both forms in the same route, make the base form have overall lower levels and be more common. Or if you're really autistic just make it appear in an earlier route.
In fact other pokémon games do this.
And since gen 1 too, Diglett and Dugtrio, Ghastly and Haunter, Cartepie and Metapod etc.
So don't use that shit excuse.
No. Your two solutions are 1) have a horribly imbalances route, or 2) what I said anyways but you're too stupid to realize it.
>You can have both forms in the same route, make the base form have overall lower levels and be more common
You'd just end up needing to stop and grind them up anyway, which defeats the whole point. They want you to use each stage during the main campaign.
>Or if you're really autistic just make it appear in an earlier route.
If they did this with every pokemon you guys bitch about there would be no end game pokemon.
Unova loved evolving some pokemon at ridiculously high levels for some reason. Deino evolves into Zwelious at lv. 50, where several other pseudos like Salamence and Garchomp are already fully evolved at that point. Hydreigon isn't even that strong compared to other pseudos.
Unova is a 'big boy' game. That's why it has difficulty settings, edgy storyline, and older protags.
As ironic as this post is being, it's kind of the case
Everything about gen 5 makes it seem like they were appealing to the older fans with these games, the japanese releases even had the option to have Kanji instead of just Hiragana precisely because Hiragana is considered childish
no that's just an annoying addition
Unova's shitty Pokemon distribution.
Because Unova was fucking retarded. Reminder that they actually shoved Rufflet and Vullaby into the beginning of gen 7, mons that don't evolve until the fucking 50's. They need to retcon these evo levels because so many mons from that gen don't function outside of online battles.
I assumed Tynamo was like the Magikarp or something, where it takes a-lot of time to grow. It's rare, kinda shit, slow to evolve and THEN needs an Evolution. But how good is Eelektross in Gen 5?
*Evolution Stone
Good but not overly so
Tynamo should be a lv30 evolution
it's a frail slow mixed attack whose only grace is it has no weaknesses (unless the other guy's using mold breaker excadrill like everyone does)
85/80/80 isn't exactly a stallmon, but it's not frail either. Especially with no weaknesses.
It's definitely not frail. It's probably the only instance of that stat distribution that isn't dogshit precisely because it isn't frail, just kind of average.
>But how good is Eelektross in Gen 5?
In game it feels fragile and bulky at the same time. It's really a surgical pokemon that can handle some pokemon really well but other not so much. It doesn't matter to me since I really like the design.
You first find it in its late 20s.
I love that Unova did this, I fucking HATE finding a pokemon and then evolving it very quickly after I catch it. Shit like Bergmite, Kommo-o etc are legitimately no fun to use in their debut games and it sucks ass.
>make the 50th normal/flying type
>only now it evolves later than a literal legendary
I hate rufflet.
Legendaries don't evolve.
>gen 7
>to complain about why they did something in gen 5
So did you intentionally lie or are you just stupid?
I was thinking more about how people were more likely to try using it in gen 7 considering Route 2's a lot earlier than Victory Road.
Even discounting gen 7 it's still evolving later than the likes of Metagross or Salamence, and for what?
why not.
Because it sucks, that’s why not. Maybe sucks is an overstatement, but come on, you’re using a NFE to level 54 just to finally get something that’s shittier than Staraptor.
Why is that bad. Being angry doesn't make it bad game design.
just unova things~
>tfw gamefreak will never retcon retarded evolution levels, or at least change them depending on the game
Cope Kalos schizo, nobody likes your SHIT game.
gen 5’s stupid evolution levels is the fault of the game being retardedly linear as fuck.
In gen 1 you can catch practically the entire pokedex by the time you get to 4-5 badges if you know where to look, so basically everything evolves in early lv40s at most.
