it's not worth it. you make 2 extra steam accounts, play until you make your pawn and then you can use your main account to summon said pawns. they don't level up though so it's not even worth it.
From steam forum:
All you need to do, is create two separate Steam accounts, turn on Steam Guard on them, and then send them friend invites from your main account, and accept share requests from them on it. This way, you can play the game legitimately on all three accounts, rent each of the pawns for free, and not pay a penny to do so.
I'm too much of a lazy pos to do it but thanks nonetheless anons

The easier way would be to nab your save out of the save folder, start a couple new games, and then swap out saves as needed. You still need to level all three pawns separately though.

The server pulls pawn data on a per-account basis, not per-save. All you're doing by save managing is changing which pawn the server sees as coming from you. You can't hire your own pawns from different saves on the same account.

Oooh, it was just an idea I had recently. I hope DD2 has multiple save slots, that's really the only thing I want.

you can use mods to completely customize NPC pawns

You can tell from the way shorter males are proportioned it war more intended for making fantasy races like dwarves. This is also confirmed by the concept art.
>canonical e-girls and shotas not only exist but can be romanced >one even has unique dialogue for it >"unintentional"
And it better "happen again" or I'm not buying the game.
I cant make e-girls for shit, I suck a lot with any character creater in any game and dragon dogma is no exception, but it only matter for me if I'm trying to make a waifu
Does anyone have a good guide to a e-girl face? This ond that gets posted all the time is ugly as sin
See it looks like your problem is the you're trying to make your e-girl pawn in World of Warcraft, and further more you've selected a non-human class which further complicates things...
why does this image keeps getting posted? this doesn't even look like a e-girl, that's shrunk adult woman
do e-girlgays really have such low standards?
Let us cry for the brothers we’ve lost, but still let us cherish the lives we have and continue to live, let us hold their memory in place of our stolen hearts and once more attempt to break free.
Seriously this is bugging me now, how the FRICK are you meant to use left click bound abilities on a longbow? Any bow skills set to left click don't work. Yellow vocations are the only ones this happens to for me
I'm doing the same thing, but it just puts my bow down. I thought it was some weird conflict between left click and the side buttons but all my warrior and fighter abilities worked without a single issue
Just retested it, it seems that bow skills specifically do not play nice when I have them bound to MB4, but they're fine otherwise. It's really weird but I guess I can live with it since I'm going Red for most of this playthrough anyway. Will just need to rebind when switching vocations.
If you give a hired pawn a thing to carry and they die, does the item go to storage or is lost?
I was constantly having issues with any mouse buttons higher than MB3/MMB, so I ended up just rebinding the mouse buttons to keyboard keys that never get used, like F10 and Num*
Anything they had that was yours goes back to you. If they were a good pawn make sure to summon them again so you can gift them and rate them before you dismiss them otherwise their owners don't get any of that.
I carry all items every though dagger and bow is most natural. There are some really great and unique shield and sword skills that only the assassin has.
>dumb >can parry >can launch pawns into the stratosphere >can launch you into the stratosphere >the very that stops you from getting a 5 foot blade up your ass >bang the drum to gather a crowd >play the cymbal to rock the world
No you are dumb
They'll make more sense when you go into the character creator
The (number)r(number) ones are probably column then row, so 2r2 probably means two to the right and then two down from the starting position (top left corner)
GIVE ME YOUR GOBBO PAWNS
I want to run a full gob squad and me and my pawn Gobby are feeling awfully lonely without two other goblins to round out the team.
I'm only level 12 rn, but once I catch up we'll be a gobbo trio, just you wait. I have the name/level saved in a notepad, although I'm sure you'll have levelled a a good bit by then.
There was actual nudity in DMC5 when Dragon's Dogma had none. Plus the logo announcement for 2 says "likley MATURE 17+" on the bottom, meaning that they've already put a bunch of lewd shit in it and aren't making baby games like BotW.
Using DMC5 isn't the best example when Sony made em cover that shit up.
It was also Cutscenes, not playable sections where someone can theoretically control the camera. M rated games gave to global standards all the time.
I'm not happy about it.
I'm still going to buy it, because self censorship is hard to prove and can only be inferred as opposed to external censorship after creation.
Maybe I'll be wrong though.
I'm just happy to see more Dragon's Dogma finally.
In line with that, here's some good body proportions I had saved.
If you want a small (50 KG or under) female:
head size 2
height: dead center
weight:first notch, 1 past zero
muscle:0 (will be the musculature for all of these)
bust: 3 (bust 3 will be the bust size for all of these)
torso:7
arms:9
legs:8
if you want a medium one (70 KG-to 90KG)
head size:3rd notch, 3 from zero
height: minus 2 from the max
weight:middle
torso:1
arms:4
legs:2
if you want thin medium
head size:same as other medium
height:same as other medium
weight as other medium
torso:7
arms:4
legs:1
if you want a large (90 KG)
head size:dead center of the bar
height: maxed
weight: middle
torso: 3
arms:6
legs:6
Does armor matter or not? I already have a bbi lv3 weapon and I don't like any of the bbi armors so i just something together that I like but that is mostly low level stuff.
>Starting a new save file over an old one puts you in Offline mode for some reason.
Maybe we shouldnt get Dragon's Dogma 2. Its a miracle there was a large enough group of autists who can enjoy the shitshow that is this game.
there's literally not a snowballs chance in hell that DD2 is better than the first, even if it is a fine game in its own right.
dark arisen is lighting in a bottle
the industry has changed a lot in the last decade and DD2 will not be immune to it
Dmc5 I think was itsuno returning to a series that he once had considered complete in order to reclaim the respect it lost as a result of DmC.
Dragons Dogma was a passion project on a shoestring budget and this is his chance to make a literal dream game for himself.
Stamina regen is also fricked. It is always the same. Being smaller makes it faster (51/s vs 38/s for fattest) so there's not much of a point having a BIG pool of Stamina because once it's empty you're gonna wait as long if you don't eat mushrooms.
>there's not much of a point having a BIG pool of Stamina
You do get to dump more at the start of a fight before running out. You can run longer before tiring out too. It's more convenient at least.
You probably can, I saw a Mystic Knight pawn in my rift the other day. Not sure how they would do with the skillset though.
Of all the hybrid vocations, I think pawns could pull off assassin the best.
100%'d the game using a mystic archer, and played a fighter for a long time as well. Never played a caster, I'm guessing mage is the best starter or is there some weird stat gain where I should start as something else?
Also how hard is mage/sorc on hard mode? Do I really need to watch my stat gain or is it not as important?
Sorcerer gets the most magick attack, so unless you want more health and stamina, just playing sorcerer is the minmax for sorcerer. And yeah, mage would be the starting vocation if you just want to hit the hardest.
if anyone is on switch, please hire Lu lu
I need RC like nothing else
also there is a space between her name because Lulu comes out as ***u for some reason, Lul gets censored??
based based based based
im doing a cringe ass league of legends themed run
My main is poppy, and I desperately need that blue skin dye
sad there is no purple hair to truely make lulu
He didn't want to waste his time having himself and his men die because Edmun was a b***hhomie, why not let him prove himself worthy of his namesake as Dragonsbane
i mean there's that and then there's the civilians and soldiers getting killed by the weird death cult he actively supported just to make sure all of Gransys got annihilated
Once again, done because he didn't want to honor a pact that would have gotten most of them dead in vain
He knew Edmun wasn't slaying anything because if he could he would have and if he called him out on it he would have everyone crying at him about it like Mercedes was
Been indecisive about who took pick as my 3rd and 4th pawns so I've just said frick it and have only been traveling with my main pawn. It's been fun.
Also holy shit has ranger always been this OP? Without even touching blast arrows or periapts I'm wrecking things far faster than as a fighter or even a warrior with a fully charged arc with tenfold alone. I don't remember it being this strong
Ranger is by far the best vocation in the game with the lowest risk and highest reward. Strider is equally overtuned but because climbing controls are totally fricked it's better on a pawn.
what are level infinity pawns anyway? i hired one and it matched my current level but how do you make your own pawn have that capability for other players?
>There are guys who didn't do any side quests whatsoever and ended up with Caxton as their beloved and have to travel to Cassardis for endgame upgrades
i fricking love how much it's rubbed in during the post dragon credits scene
just imagine some anon with his head in his hands as his Arisen rolls around by the fire with Fournival
they reworked caxton's ai, but he is by far the most talked to npc
the more you talk to an npc the more they subtly like you
before dark arisen, you can frick him just by talking to him a bunch
dark arisen changed shop/innkeepers so that won't happen
Don't forget the gold idol quest lads... It means people who read a guide to get the best gear and then skipped through most of the game will always end up with either Caxton or Fournival
it's easy to have like half a dozen people at max affection by the end of the game
it's whoever has the highest, and if there's a tie, the one you last spoke to
guess you probably said hi to quina before the penultimate quest
the game picks the last person with highest affinity you spoke to
if the person you want as your beloved isn't around anymore, you're gonna have to lower the affinity of everyone else, or never talk to them again after talking to the one you want
recommend doing bbi first, though you could play through the base game once more on hardmode and then decide if you want to downgrade back to normal or not for bbi
since bbi progression is not linked to main game
it triples monster stagger/knockdown resistances
increases the damage they deal to you(not pawns)
increases your stamina consuption
and doubles exp, with extra gold drops from enemies which aren't that significant
and you can change vocations at bbi which you can do immediately
so yea, it'll be easy except for bbi which will be harder as it's balanced for roughly your level on normal

hmmm, think I might just remove my save (back it up) and do hardmode that way. Or not, to be fair, I haven't played in like 3 years lmao.

also would like to add that you can go from normal to hard(and back) at any point, it'll just reset quest progression(except from hard to normal), doesn't need to be after beating the game
>played through DD multiple times >see all the hype around DD2 and people getting back into the game >remember how fricked modding is for this game
yeah nah, not worth putting up with that shit for my umpteenth playthrough
>exploring south-east >it's way bigger than I thought, walking around for an entire day >find some cave on a secluded beach as the sun is setting >two treasure chests inside frick yea >one has a large coin pouch >other one has some armor that could be bought in the store for like 5,000 gold
I really, really hope they make exploring actually worthwhile in DD2. Like some actual unique loot or something instead of randomized crap.
there is good stuff to find but they weirdly made some of it be 20% chance from a chest and some of it 100%
so sure you can get that cool amazon looking set from the female bandit camp but odds are you won't while that one item gather spot on hillfigure knoll gives the same daggers every time
its just so ????
The southwest area makes me sad because the feeling of incompleteness is heavier there than almost everywhere else. Bloodwater Beach in feels like it was supposed to be the starting point of a big sea journey. It's so damn frustrating. >mfw DD2 has an annoyingly long arc about getting on a boat and sailing to an island inhabited by a reclusive magical race so that you can heal Mercedes from a really bad cloudwine hangover
They should have basically everything be the same tier when fully upgraded, and make upgrading the real barrier. That way you can rock your basic b***h plate + longsword and not lose out.
For me? It's really the process. Sure you can go without shoving godbane into your chest every bad chest result but all that's really changing is you now have to go back to an inn and go into a coma for however many days.
The Ruins of Heavenspeak Fort has a room with multiple chests. It has a chance of dropping in the fancy chest along with corsets and other female gear.
Guardian makes your pawns just sort of stand around doing absolutely nothing, even after enemies are alerted, until you the arisen actually start getting hit. It's manageable at least if you're playing a melee vocation but it's abysmal otherwise.
I remember on my very first playthrough of the game I had no clue inclinations were a thing until I tried to Google why my warrior pawn was literally watching my sorcerer get his shit kicked in and not moving a muscle.
It never clicked for me. I think I'm going to switch to it soon to try it again, but it might be even worse because I've been levelling pure red so far so have dick for magick attack stats
Why? If you're going magic pawn keep her magic. Go fighter or warrior if you really want the augments and so on but you plan on having her be a magic pawn go sorcerer or maybe strider. That we you get get the stamina and hp while still leveling magick
was going to grind out the augments, but I'll keep her as is for now if people are using her

>Went against online ur dragon using my level 160 assassin character, with a silver rank out cursed bite and chugging 4 conqueror's periapts at a time all the time >Only did THIS much damage to it in the span of 10 minutes
Good god
It's a raid boss. If 20 of you were hitting at once then you would get results. thanks for telling me I should check back in an hour or two for its grace
a lot of vocations are good at dealing massive damage, and warrior is definitely one of them. it's also definitely less versatile than the rest, but you should be fine. the best protip for warrior is: jump normal attack all the time
and you're definitely gonna need a pawn that deals magic damage
Immolation scales on physical damage, not magic damage.
Oh, that may explain it. Yes, mostly red vocations; strength.
Although I will say that when I use Maelstrom as a sorc seems to do more than most of the Magic Bow moves
The Hunter Arrow one can do decent damage on targets with lots of hit zones, but the rest seem a bit lackluster compared to what I could do with sorc spells
maelstrom takes like 30 seconds to cast, magic bow skills take 3
but you're kind of right, most of them are a bit situational. You really want to be taking advantage of elemental weaknesses and stuff like Ricohet Hunter in hallways or stacking and detonating Explosive Rivets. Also Magic Rebalancer is a free periapt that stacks 4 times and doubles your magic damage.
If anyone wants yet another mage, why not hire ol' Farnese? Can't promise she'll suit your needs, but hey that's what sending out pawns is for right?
Level 33, try Freja moniker if you can't find her.
you can start a new game+ with all your experience and items. you'll just need to speed through the very beginning of the game until the BBI lady shows up again in Cassardis
bbi is separate progression
this isn't true. if you finish the game and start over, your BBI progress is reset as well
>I knew you for a villain! I've suffered your avarice and deceptions out of deference to the office of Arisen... But you have shown your true color, ser! You are a traitor to the duke and to us all! >Put this rogue to chains, men! His Grace commands the Arisen's capture, dead or alive!
What the frick was this guy's problem?
BBI is short but you have to go through twice to see all the content, and the second time is literally just a frick you the whole way through. BBI lvl2 weapons you can get through your first run but lvl3's don't come until round 2.
BBI is like ten hours of content but they remix it on a second run and introduce a ton of new enemies to fight. You get gear from Olra's gacha scheme, but it costs RC so i hope your pawn has been getting hires because grinding crystals in BBI sucks
Pretty easy to start getting your hands on new stuff. The overall area is much smaller then the base game but it's nonstop fighting where as you were doing lots of traveling in between fights in the main game.
Do I need to restart my main game progression or something to do the 2nd run?

in BBI there's a guaranteed Ring of Perseverance (50% more discipline points) that I believe you can even get without killing anything if you're still underleveled / undergeared. it's behind one of the Moonbeam Gem doors, look up a guide if you really need it that badly

[...]
Do I need to restart my main game progression or something to do the 2nd run?
you can go for the second BBI run as soon as you finish the first, the dungeon puts you right back at the start once you finish it
>Think pawns are all moronic and useless >Hire some strider pawn because they have a nice outfit >They play super aggressive mixing a ranged bomb with jump attacks >Seem to know every monster's weaknesses and how to exploit them >Perfectly dodging all attacks
How do I make my pawn like that? It was like playing with an actual player until they jumped over a treasure chest into the abyss
>>They play super aggressive mixing a ranged bomb with jump attacks
probably mitigator but could be scather with just the right moves attached >>Seem to know every monster's weaknesses and how to exploit them
utilitarian with bestiary stars
you could also play strider but if you don't keep it up they lose those habits.
My strider pawn solo'd a griffin before I even got properly introduced to it via story. He just bombed it with Fracture Dart and went in for the kill with Skull Spliter.
I wish I was as cool as my pawn.
its gunna hurt at first but you get the gear to even it out pretty quick. you were supposed to die/run from Death so you probably won't have too hard a time of it.
Any advice for Fighter pawns? Only skill I have equipped is Dragon's Maw, I just gotta get her to stop climbing shit.
For BBI do you guys prefer Warriors or Fighters if you had to pick between the two?
Fighter seems best. Warrior tends to whiff a lot and dies too often. It is nice those few times they land an arc of deliverence and send enemies to the moon.
warrior pawns are better at staggering and knocking enemies down with qquicker skills instead of dealing damage, since their stronger skills take forever to charge and they'll frick it up every time
About an hour. Yes as long as you go in during the Grace period and get a kill you get full loot from memory. Grace started about 2 minutes after I posted so you've got a bit of time.
I remember the shit that used to get posted on blue boards all the time, nobody even thought about it being unacceptable. One day I went back to Ganker maybe around 2016 or something, someone posted some nipples "covered" with bandaids and people were freaking out and it eventually got banned. I knew the website was no longer the same.
I really wanted Saint George's Mask or Beowulf's, but I'll take Apollos. Gonna be a while before I can be bothered shoving that many holy hentai arrows into the Ur-Dragon's various body parts though.
For me it was a duplicate George. I'm missing Beowulf and Apollo. Give me your pawn and I'll send it.

Yes. Enjoy the mask. Urdragon has goofy grace timing.
You only need the first level of upgrade to make gear eligible for Dragonforging. Further tiers just increase the likelihood that it happens. Cursed Dragons in BBI give a 40% chance at only the first tier, so it's pretty easy to just skip straight to Dragonforged (T4). Silver Dragonforged (T5) can't be skipped though.
Oh, and the Dragon and the Online Ur-Dragon are guaranteed to dragonforge any item even if it has no upgrade level.
You can literally almost see her aereola. That should be an instant ban.
>Get to Come To Court on first playthrough >A tad bored of the mainline quests >Up to fallen city run 2 now and having heaps of fun though now getting my ass thoroughly handed to me
I really hope DD2 can mix them together so that exploring the world feels as much like a dungeon crawl as BBI does. BBI feels like an action packed trip to detroit and although I've explored I think the whole map except the forts on the top left and right because they're gated behind quest progression, all of it feels completely barren compared to BBI. There just needs to be more stuff to do on the map that doesn't rely on quests you pick up in the main city.
The game encourages you to switch classes throughout your playthrough in order to unlock all your potential upgrades. You aren't locked in to one class like other games.
assuming i only like warrior, would my pawn be majorly screwed going 100 levels as mage/sorc and then 100 as strider/ranger?
i really don't like using bows, magic, or shields..
a few enemies can only be killed by magic damage, so you might wanna keep that in mind. you can carry one of those enchanted weapons, but your magic damage is going to be very low
i'm fine bringing enchanted weapons, i wasn't sure if i could compensate for no magic with items or something
Are you planing on just doing a duo or are you going to hire other pawns? If you're running a fully party, no problem. Just bringing 1 caster pawn and you're fine. If you want to do a duo, you'll need magic weapons for the both of you, and if you're doing duo BBI you'll need demon periapts or some consumable items that cast spells to deal with Wraiths and Living Armour.
i was planning duo so maybe i'll just do warrior and sorcerer instead
your leveling stats (and your pawn's) aren't gonna matter all that much the further you go since your weapons start making a much bigger difference, but you'll notice a decrease in damage if you switch to a yellow vocation after spending 100 in a blue one
you can beat the entire game going solo if you know how to deal with the stuff that'll hinder you, but it's gonna be painful for your first time if you don't try to have a more balanced party. that being said, there're very few enemies that really require a specific type of damage to deal with, and none of them are mandatory (in reality there're like 9 mandatory battles in the entire game)
also you're not gonna reach lvl 200 by the time you finish the game, more like 70-80 for the main game, and 120-130 if you do BBI on top of that. you'll only get to 200 if you continue farming BBI or do a new game+, which by that point I assume you'll have figured out which pawn vocation you think works best

I have less trouble with the prisoner gorecyclopes than I do with fricking living armors or even the BBI ghosts. who the frick thought it was okay to make them immune to enchantments? there's no point beyond "lol guess you really need another sorc now huh :^*~~))"
the disgusting cheese strat for living armors is to go sorc, charge up a high (grand is better) fulmination, pop a liquid vim and then sit back and watch your pawns whale on them because all they do in the zap radius is sit there with their shields up
when their armor breaks, keep the fulmination going, just alternate button taps between the zap radius and the pawn buff and the slight interval in between makes their raise their shields up and take big damage
it's ez pz lemon squeezy, as long as you can get them all in your zap radius (and your pawns aren't braindead) you can take them down without them even doing anything except blocking
I literally always keep a fulmination (preferably grand) pawn handy for this reason, its just getting them to cast it ya know. I just refuse to change my vocation because that's bullshit. I WILL beat this bullshit twice with my greatsword even if its just to call it gay properly.

yeah but having to change your vocation for missions is gay. to make it easier? sure. to make it not hell? can't get down with that. the homosexuals just wouldn't stop spinning.
If you want to manipulate Lv.3 weapons on your first run of Daimon v2: go into the rift before the boss to make a checkpoint save. The list isn't generated yet and you can avoid paying a million rift crystals before you get the one item you want. Just reload to checkpoint and beat him over and over.
The lightning chain shit and high miasma are the best along with comestion and the fricking ice spire frick blast but if you use all of them they're gonna get confused and never cast
in my experience they'll fail to cast too often if you give them the longer cast spells
that being said, having a full team of sorcerers carrying the same spells is the funnest shit ever thanks to spell syncing. all it takes is one opportunity and you get to release utter pandemonium
Bolide. Also Sorc pawns are extremely tempermental, and you don't want them to know higher than level 1 spells almost always, nor any core skill other than Levitate.
Only trash. Outside of Firedrake's I don't think there's anything with massive resistance to fire. There's just not too many things with a weakness to it like Holy or Ice, or to a lesser extent Thunder.
comestion, gicel, fulmination
i like lassitude a lot, voidspell's great for BBI, last one is a flex enchantment depending on where i am and what i'm fighting
personally i like syncing big dick spells with my sorc main so i put on high tier spells
if you're only renting one out for helping maybe leave them at basic tier, though mine never has trouble getting off say high comestion by herself
I've killed the dragon and poked around the everfall a little bit. Should I bother trying to get gear from there, or just go straight to Bitterblack Island?

e-girl pawns are getting the axe, aren't they?
Good, more Amazon mommies for me
I fact the only thig I wish for DD2 is that we ca make all 3 pawns and don't have to rely on other player's anymore.
You could do that right now on steam.
How?
it's not worth it. you make 2 extra steam accounts, play until you make your pawn and then you can use your main account to summon said pawns. they don't level up though so it's not even worth it.
From steam forum:
All you need to do, is create two separate Steam accounts, turn on Steam Guard on them, and then send them friend invites from your main account, and accept share requests from them on it. This way, you can play the game legitimately on all three accounts, rent each of the pawns for free, and not pay a penny to do so.
Do you even have to ask Anon? It was an unintentional mishap from the creation tools. They're not letting that happen again
>It was an unintentional mishap from the creation tools
why do you say that
You can tell from the way shorter males are proportioned it war more intended for making fantasy races like dwarves. This is also confirmed by the concept art.
>canonical e-girls and shotas not only exist but can be romanced
>one even has unique dialogue for it
>"unintentional"
And it better "happen again" or I'm not buying the game.
It was so unintentional that you get a default e-girl from the starting village as your child bride.
Quina isn't a e-girl. That goth girl is and the dutchess are and Selene is like 6 years old, but Quina is all grows ups.
>he doesn't know
>that
>e-girl
Maybe in kangarooland
ironic weebs have ruined these words.
You might as well be one of them
They're definitely not vanishing completely. However they're also not getting skimpy armor.
source?
I cant make e-girls for shit, I suck a lot with any character creater in any game and dragon dogma is no exception, but it only matter for me if I'm trying to make a waifu
Does anyone have a good guide to a e-girl face? This ond that gets posted all the time is ugly as sin
See it looks like your problem is the you're trying to make your e-girl pawn in World of Warcraft, and further more you've selected a non-human class which further complicates things...
Naruhodo... any advice in dragon dogma tho?
This one gets floated around a lot but it's a decent template and you can adjust things to fit your tastes.
Fricking phonegays
built for naizuri
>e-girl pawns get the axe
>game turns out to be easily moddable
>e-girl pawn mods guaranteed
>breeding hips
>e-girl
your fetish is way too damn inconsistent and at this point i think you just have a thing for petite girls, which is not e-girl.
if the japs say jack's a e-girl, then it's all fair game
inconsistency itself is a fetish
I hope so. Fricking embarrassed by them every time I went to get a pawn.
why does this image keeps getting posted? this doesn't even look like a e-girl, that's shrunk adult woman
do e-girlgays really have such low standards?
Someone shilling his pawn, not knowing that e-girl pawns only exist to get brine.com'd
Was there ever a Jennifer Connelly preset in those celebrity collages? Asking for myself
Don't think so but she kinda looks like Yennefer. She's always being mentioned in those dream Witcher cast lineups.
how did Paul Bettany of all people score her? he is ugly af
Any other celeb pre sets?
IF you google dragon's dogma sliders you will find a ton of them.
Young JCon was quite literally the most attractive woman of all time
>anons have died and will die while waiting for dragons dogma 2
God, I wish I was one of them.
Let us cry for the brothers we’ve lost, but still let us cherish the lives we have and continue to live, let us hold their memory in place of our stolen hearts and once more attempt to break free.
>looked up Tiffany Amber Thiessen to see what she looks like today
Don't make the same mistake I did.
You must be gay.
50 year old Kelly Kapowski could still get it.
She's looked like a bloated 50 year old for 25 years
She stopped being hot like 2 seasons after she started starring in 90210 2bh
fricking degenerate pedos that do this shit disgust me
It's alright cuz I'm saved by the bell.
why did you make the character models look like they have down syndrome?
My Arisen's mom needs company please hire
Currently keeping her company
thanks anon
Man, she really likes climbing dragons
Dragon's Dickma
Dickma?
I'm sorry she doesn't have much experience outside bitterblack isle
I hope pawns for DD2 doesn't look like dogshit and hopefully it will be easily modded
>dreadlocks
>When there's regular frizzy hair as option
?
Seriously this is bugging me now, how the FRICK are you meant to use left click bound abilities on a longbow? Any bow skills set to left click don't work. Yellow vocations are the only ones this happens to for me
No idea, I just use a controller.
NO-
Works for me. I use a side button and press left click.
I'm doing the same thing, but it just puts my bow down. I thought it was some weird conflict between left click and the side buttons but all my warrior and fighter abilities worked without a single issue
Works on my machine. I am using a key bound to my mouse though as the bow skill button.
Just retested it, it seems that bow skills specifically do not play nice when I have them bound to MB4, but they're fine otherwise. It's really weird but I guess I can live with it since I'm going Red for most of this playthrough anyway. Will just need to rebind when switching vocations.
Storage
I was constantly having issues with any mouse buttons higher than MB3/MMB, so I ended up just rebinding the mouse buttons to keyboard keys that never get used, like F10 and Num*
Is mb4 bound to cancel a draw or something anon? Not sure if that's possible I always use controller kek
I want axe and shield weapons in the game please and thank you.
Finally got her upgeared a bit. If anyone would hire my pawn please it'd be much appreciated.
Snu Snu
Why's there so many pawns named Lady recently? I've seen at least 3 today.
dmcV I guess idk
If you give a hired pawn a thing to carry and they die, does the item go to storage or is lost?
Anything they had that was yours goes back to you. If they were a good pawn make sure to summon them again so you can gift them and rate them before you dismiss them otherwise their owners don't get any of that.
storage, if you dismiss via rift they keep it
quick assassin guide?
sword and shield?
dagger and shield?
dagger and bow?
core skils and augments?
Dagger and bow and I carry a sword in case I feel like switching it up. Shield is dumb.
I carry all items every though dagger and bow is most natural. There are some really great and unique shield and sword skills that only the assassin has.
Sword has dire gouge though which is awesome.
>dumb
>can parry
>can launch pawns into the stratosphere
>can launch you into the stratosphere
>the very that stops you from getting a 5 foot blade up your ass
>bang the drum to gather a crowd
>play the cymbal to rock the world
No you are dumb
None of those are assassin shield skills, all I'm saying is that since it has a counter move you don't need a shield on assassins.
ah, excuse my shieldtism.
It's okay anon, I'm keeping my current pawn as a warrior so she can perfect block everything and generally look cool.
*fighter
Frick I actually am moronic.
explore and find fun shit out on your own instead of being a modern guide chasing zombie
Sword and bow. LARP as Robin Hood.
daimon is so fricking gay holy shit
i meant to say daimon 2 but daimon 1 ain't much better
Is the first still worth playing?
What? You mean the first Dragon's Dogma game? Because it's currently the only one that exists
Yes! It's really hot right now after years of dormancy. Time to turn on the AC
I need Zack and Kelly but I don't know what all these numbers mean.
They'll make more sense when you go into the character creator
The (number)r(number) ones are probably column then row, so 2r2 probably means two to the right and then two down from the starting position (top left corner)
Makes more sense now. Thanks Anon.
GIVE ME YOUR GOBBO PAWNS
I want to run a full gob squad and me and my pawn Gobby are feeling awfully lonely without two other goblins to round out the team.
Even comes with anti fire protection
I'm only level 12 rn, but once I catch up we'll be a gobbo trio, just you wait. I have the name/level saved in a notepad, although I'm sure you'll have levelled a a good bit by then.
GOBLINS
Gobspeed.
these goblins are too tall
I have them set to min height, I just angled the camera to get a good look at their faces.
o-oh
carry on gob king
You can favorite any pawn so you can find it later.
Can you edit other pawns except for the one you made in the start? I messed up and want to edit it.
If you're playing offline there's a mod that lets you edit the offline pawns.
Thanks fren
ye
Favorited for later, thanks for the tip!
if i pull that off will she die?
It would be very STOOPID HYOOMIN.
hes right
Where do you live? You wouldnt talk to me like that in front of me, b***hboy
1600 pennsylvania ave washington dc
meet me in front of the smithsonian tomorrow pussy, i'll be wearing a red trump cap
tomorrow at 9am
pussy b***h
These undergarments are getting "updated to meet modern standards and sensibilities" without a doubt.
I'm still very excited for DD2
>Sony
Your own fault for owning le progressive console, on PC it runs better and non issues are ignored.
>censored
>more lewd through implied nudity
heh. this isn't pro-Snoy I just think its funny.
In line with that, here's some good body proportions I had saved.
If you want a small (50 KG or under) female:
head size 2
height: dead center
weight:first notch, 1 past zero
muscle:0 (will be the musculature for all of these)
bust: 3 (bust 3 will be the bust size for all of these)
torso:7
arms:9
legs:8
if you want a medium one (70 KG-to 90KG)
head size:3rd notch, 3 from zero
height: minus 2 from the max
weight:middle
torso:1
arms:4
legs:2
if you want thin medium
head size:same as other medium
height:same as other medium
weight as other medium
torso:7
arms:4
legs:1
if you want a large (90 KG)
head size:dead center of the bar
height: maxed
weight: middle
torso: 3
arms:6
legs:6
Does armor matter or not? I already have a bbi lv3 weapon and I don't like any of the bbi armors so i just something together that I like but that is mostly low level stuff.
Bros please... Hire her
Inclinations?
Scather
>for some reason the game was in offline mode
>just realized and now evrything about pawns said in this thread makes sense
Starting a new save file over an old one puts you in offline mode for some reason.
>Starting a new save file over an old one puts you in Offline mode for some reason.
Maybe we shouldnt get Dragon's Dogma 2. Its a miracle there was a large enough group of autists who can enjoy the shitshow that is this game.
Literally unplayable.
How do I make a cute orc or goblin pawn?
Do you need help when you eat food and go to the toilet as well? Literally play the game homie it's not that hard to create a custom character.
Arisen is a short and cute male sorc
Pawn is a tall strong fighter woman
Does BBI literally require periapts? Even with a silverforged lv3 weapon I feel like it takes a good while to kill enemies.
why hit them with a crappy stick when you can nuke em
bigger explosions
500 hours and I mostly played sorcerer. Got boring now I'm trying strider. Also bolide is pretty shitty. Maelstrom has more uses I'd say.
A horse
Axes
Spears
Customizable house
>Customizable house
This would honestly be a cool feature.
DDON had it, your pawns (yes multiple) could even interact with the furniture
i really wanted to make a demon pawn but the red-type skin just makes her look like a Black person
There's a Red pigment at the encampment if you've got rift crystals.
should i go onto hard mode or just continue onto new game plus
What new features and stuff do you want in dragons dogma 2?
pawn romance
co-op
Any lads need a strider?
Betty White lives!
>tall
>good fashion
>white bobcut
Frickin' hired
Not so sure about "good fashion sense", but she should be good enough for your tastes
there's literally not a snowballs chance in hell that DD2 is better than the first, even if it is a fine game in its own right.
dark arisen is lighting in a bottle
the industry has changed a lot in the last decade and DD2 will not be immune to it
What do you think they will ruin?
True enough, dmc5 didn't have the janky soul of 3 and 1.
Dmc5 I think was itsuno returning to a series that he once had considered complete in order to reclaim the respect it lost as a result of DmC.
Dragons Dogma was a passion project on a shoestring budget and this is his chance to make a literal dream game for himself.
If anyone is interested I am selling copium.
You sound just like the doomposters that said DD2 would never happen.
At least DD2 will (probably) be more complete and have less cut content
They're quadrupling the map size and the number of escort quests.
everywhere you go you have to take 1 escortee
can't leave towns without someone to escort
>and the number of escort quests
Nice
dark arisen isn't even the best part of dragons dogma. """hardcore""" autists are insufferable.
Our girl cried when dd2 was announced
who?
Your momma
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMnNj7RxovAWCpydaFgbYEA
I assume
sex
sounds like gay e-celeb talk anon
Curious to see if they'll include a camera lock-on.
Given that you would sometimes fight 20+ enemies at a time, it's probably unlikely.
I need ideas on how to make my two mages look because i'm terrible at character creation
Uh Google "dragon's dogma character creation" and pick 2 of the billion things that come up?
>really like climbing on monsters so I wanna roll an assassin
>but also really wanna try out mystic knight
wat do?
Just flip-flop between them every other level like I did.
toss a coin
Magic archer.
But you can switch around as much as you like in this game and it's actually encouraged.
>Get that one perk that lets you regenerate health
>It's always one HP per 10 seconds or so regardless of how big your health bar is.
Of all the hybrid vocations, I think pawns could pull off assassin the best.
>there's not much of a point having a BIG pool of Stamina
There is if you want to minmax for Great Gamble.
snort weed and shrooms
God how I wish I could make my pawn an assassin
You probably can, I saw a Mystic Knight pawn in my rift the other day. Not sure how they would do with the skillset though.
I really wish I could use six skills as MA. There is too much good shit there.
Stats are useful early on but around mid-late game in the base game, they don't matter too much. Mage and sorc get the big magick stat with each level
Sorcerer gets the most magick attack, so unless you want more health and stamina, just playing sorcerer is the minmax for sorcerer. And yeah, mage would be the starting vocation if you just want to hit the hardest.
Does some anon want to take my pawn out?
I will use her as a sacrifice for my arrow.
>Fighting hydra
>Climbing on one neck, slicing off its head, and managing to jump and latch onto another one
So much fun
Hire my pawn please
Favorited for when I get to those levels.
Found her, will take out for a walk
>my exact level
>currently need a new ranged pawn
Consider her HIRED
Hire my pawn, someone! I need the crystals.
>Level 42 Strider
>Utilitarian/Scatter
>Max height, arrogant, waifu material
someone has autism
Only 90s kids will get this
Even as a kid I thought this was moronic. Addicted to caffeine pills???
if anyone is on switch, please hire Lu lu
I need RC like nothing else
also there is a space between her name because Lulu comes out as ***u for some reason, Lul gets censored??
'Lul' is a Dutch word for wiener. I kinda doubt that's the reason, but you never know.
it might be the reason, lots of weird censors in the game
many stemming from different languages
i made a shrek and fiona couple a while back and the "fion" in fiona was censored
I know most of Schierke is censored from a e-girl pawn I saw once. I have to imagine it's because of some other Germanic language's version of shit.
Can you show me your Pawn ID real wuick?
it looks like it is
E2DB - 0450 - E88A
Same anon, why does my pc pawn not have an ID?
are pawn ID's switch exclusive? kinda confused
Yes. We're forced to suffer through pawn roulette.
pain
suffering
Thanks, she's hired. I also sent a friend request so I can resummon her when she kicks the bucket during my BBI runs.
based based based based
im doing a cringe ass league of legends themed run
My main is poppy, and I desperately need that blue skin dye
sad there is no purple hair to truely make lulu
I made Blood Moon Evelynn for my pawn
Hire her if you can
If she make you angry in any way, throw her off the cliff to the salty brine
how do hit sky enemy ?
feller is wider than he is tall
poor sod 🙁
Dragon's Crown cross over?
How was he so based?
he was gay
Pls explains
he's another coward like Mercedeez nuts dad and the douk.
The only based thing he did was tell the truth, he was an butthole.
Dude just like, let Gransys fall to the dragon and we'll worry about it later.
>worry about resources for your own country to fight the dragon
>by tanking resources in the form of your countries allies
good job israelitelian
He didn't want to waste his time having himself and his men die because Edmun was a b***hhomie, why not let him prove himself worthy of his namesake as Dragonsbane
i mean there's that and then there's the civilians and soldiers getting killed by the weird death cult he actively supported just to make sure all of Gransys got annihilated
Once again, done because he didn't want to honor a pact that would have gotten most of them dead in vain
He knew Edmun wasn't slaying anything because if he could he would have and if he called him out on it he would have everyone crying at him about it like Mercedes was
classic german treachery
he knew the duke was a fake
thats why he sided with salvation
Been indecisive about who took pick as my 3rd and 4th pawns so I've just said frick it and have only been traveling with my main pawn. It's been fun.
Also holy shit has ranger always been this OP? Without even touching blast arrows or periapts I'm wrecking things far faster than as a fighter or even a warrior with a fully charged arc with tenfold alone. I don't remember it being this strong
Ranger is by far the best vocation in the game with the lowest risk and highest reward. Strider is equally overtuned but because climbing controls are totally fricked it's better on a pawn.
>when you need something from the red weapon pool
Pure suffering.
How was he so based?
>Yeah, that's right wienersucker, GO BACK TO CASSARDIS.
>Bandit Philly, what are you doing?
>Take that piece of shit, and get off my mountain pass.
>grab pawn
>throw at rock
🙂
we're the same
What did this guy do? edit the level? can't see the stat because corrupt data
what are level infinity pawns anyway? i hired one and it matched my current level but how do you make your own pawn have that capability for other players?
Max level is 200 so they just give you an infinity symbol for reaching the cap.
Lv200
Yeah, probably fricked with their values in dinput8.dll
Post them
>Not a single depiction of wolves hunting in packs
You didn't beat the game
Can somebody hire my Pawn, just look up Valentine, the b***h needs Rift Crystals for shitter isle.
BRO
You need to give us her level you dimwit
We need a level and vocation anon
Anyone got sub-level 50 mages or sorcs? I'll take anything above level 20 but below 50
To be fair fournival is a fricking zased beloved
They can't go wrong
can't actually happen because if you don't give them the ring you'll end up with the princess because she's the default love interest
they reworked caxton's ai, but he is by far the most talked to npc
the more you talk to an npc the more they subtly like you
before dark arisen, you can frick him just by talking to him a bunch
Don't forget the gold idol quest lads... It means people who read a guide to get the best gear and then skipped through most of the game will always end up with either Caxton or Fournival
Fournival also has the eviction quest, escort quest, and trial quest there to boost his affinity. The odds are really stacked.
dark arisen changed shop/innkeepers so that won't happen
merchants gained a frick ton of approval when you bought stuff from them constantly before DA. that's why those memes exist.
>give mercedes a shitton of cloudwine
>even give her the ring
>still get quina in the end
Still not sure how it happened
it's easy to have like half a dozen people at max affection by the end of the game
it's whoever has the highest, and if there's a tie, the one you last spoke to
guess you probably said hi to quina before the penultimate quest
the game picks the last person with highest affinity you spoke to
if the person you want as your beloved isn't around anymore, you're gonna have to lower the affinity of everyone else, or never talk to them again after talking to the one you want
I got the hotel guy as my beloved
just a jape friend
You're gonna get japed
i still find his joke about him not listening in on the king banging the princess is funny as frick
>what'll it be today?
Literally me on me second playthrough because I skipped a bunched of shit. First one was israelite breasts.
It's a goblin, Arisen
>select hard mode
>all of your items+experience will transfer
Ok, how gimped is the experience if I do this? Will it be way easier?
level, gear, vocation, story progress
the deets Black person give me the deets
Finished the game, was a warrior, lvl 66.
Didn't do the DLC tho
recommend doing bbi first, though you could play through the base game once more on hardmode and then decide if you want to downgrade back to normal or not for bbi
since bbi progression is not linked to main game
cool mate, i'm more worried the game will be too easy at this level because i'm not even sure how NG+ works on Hard mode.
Can you change vocations via dinput8 or do I have to wait until Gran Soren
it triples monster stagger/knockdown resistances
increases the damage they deal to you(not pawns)
increases your stamina consuption
and doubles exp, with extra gold drops from enemies which aren't that significant
and you can change vocations at bbi which you can do immediately
so yea, it'll be easy except for bbi which will be harder as it's balanced for roughly your level on normal
hmmm, think I might just remove my save (back it up) and do hardmode that way. Or not, to be fair, I haven't played in like 3 years lmao.
I'll see how I find it, cheers. Gonna get my ass to BBI (so upon NG+, if I understand you, I just go to the dock area at night time and she'll be there right from the start of the game?)
>I just go to the dock area at night time and she'll be there right from the start of the game?
You just have to get your pawn first.
yea
like he said
HF
also would like to add that you can go from normal to hard(and back) at any point, it'll just reset quest progression(except from hard to normal), doesn't need to be after beating the game
Why is Mason so suspicious?
What's the recommended mod for Warrior with 6 skills? I haven't played in years and reinstalled just now, I need it in my life.
Please respond.
The sequel isn't coming until at least next year, right?
ye
Where do you get good fashion for sorcerers and mages in the early game?
>early
you dont
Fug. Meleebros have it too good.
>Dont speak to anybody entire game.
>Get to the fricking dragon.
>Kill your true love.
>Its the village elder from the start of the game.
>played through DD multiple times
>see all the hype around DD2 and people getting back into the game
>remember how fricked modding is for this game
yeah nah, not worth putting up with that shit for my umpteenth playthrough
>playing assassin
you didn't beat the game
>BBI Lv.3 gear isn't completely random
>have to do this autistic nude speedrun to four chests to optimally get them
Kind of gay to be honest
>keep getting warrior equipment despite playing as mystic knight when purifying it
GUESS IT'S TIME FOR ANOTHER BBI RUN
>gif
Ring of Thrift, Suasion on both me and my pawn (because I'm too lazy to rehire my pawns to get two with susasion). It's money time.
>autistic nude speedrun
did somebody train this guy wrong on purpose or something
Idk that's what my moronic friend told me so I've been doing it
are you rushing BBI items as a level 1 character? why are you nude?
>exploring south-east
>it's way bigger than I thought, walking around for an entire day
>find some cave on a secluded beach as the sun is setting
>two treasure chests inside frick yea
>one has a large coin pouch
>other one has some armor that could be bought in the store for like 5,000 gold
I really, really hope they make exploring actually worthwhile in DD2. Like some actual unique loot or something instead of randomized crap.
and by south-east I mean south-west because I can't into directions
there is good stuff to find but they weirdly made some of it be 20% chance from a chest and some of it 100%
so sure you can get that cool amazon looking set from the female bandit camp but odds are you won't while that one item gather spot on hillfigure knoll gives the same daggers every time
its just so ????
The southwest area makes me sad because the feeling of incompleteness is heavier there than almost everywhere else. Bloodwater Beach in feels like it was supposed to be the starting point of a big sea journey. It's so damn frustrating.
>mfw DD2 has an annoyingly long arc about getting on a boat and sailing to an island inhabited by a reclusive magical race so that you can heal Mercedes from a really bad cloudwine hangover
I'm going to say it. Loot is shit and tedious and annoying. DD2 should do away with it.
You ARE doing all of the From a Different Sky, aren't you? You're not some silly casual, right?
I've got the last three in the last area to do and then I'm free.
Necessary evil of the genre but improvements can be made, definitely.
Going for level 200 is such a pain
it's time to blas arrow death off the waterway
But I'm not on the first run so he won't show up there, do I need to go to ng+ now?
hire my pawn my dudes
i need that sweet rc cola
Are you sure they were 33 the last time you rested at the inn? I haven't found them yet.
>they
>them
Her pronouns are she/her you fricking homosexual.
oh yeah ill need to rest at the inn again sry
feel free to gift one :^)
aight rested at the inn shes lvl 35 right now
cool, found em
pantsu
Where do I get them? Asking for a friend, of course.
Madeline sells them after stage 6 with high affinity
The Ruins of Heavenspeak Fort has a room with multiple chests. It has a chance of dropping in the fancy chest along with corsets and other female gear.
hah nice bro thx 🙂
Hold up, let me log on
I want her too
She still 35?
IIRC you can find pawn with id in the Switch but they are to lazy to implement it into other versions
Nevermind. I finally fricking found her.
Itsuno please fix this shit for 2!
>No thong
she is awesome. what's your MC?
Switching weapons during the fight is annoying as frick. As strider should i just have normal daggers and a magic bow?
If you manage to equip a magic bow as Strider let me know
letting you know
no success
I wish these pants didn't have that weird patch of fabric connecting the strings, I have to put up with it because I love how the panties look
looks better than Starfield.
are aquisitor and guardian the worst inclinations?
I don't see the problem with guardian
pawns with guardian don't do shit
they just stand there next to you while never doing anything
Guardian makes your pawns just sort of stand around doing absolutely nothing, even after enemies are alerted, until you the arisen actually start getting hit. It's manageable at least if you're playing a melee vocation but it's abysmal otherwise.
I remember on my very first playthrough of the game I had no clue inclinations were a thing until I tried to Google why my warrior pawn was literally watching my sorcerer get his shit kicked in and not moving a muscle.
Guys... I really like mystic knight.
I really dont tbqh
It never clicked for me. I think I'm going to switch to it soon to try it again, but it might be even worse because I've been levelling pure red so far so have dick for magick attack stats
The secret for MK is; Abyssal Anguish.
>frick up getting Gold Idol
>stuck with frick all new gear as a sorcerer until BBI
Thanks Fournival. Throwing your ass in jail.
you mean the everfall
I didn't even notice the gold idol gear because all the gear I wanted came from the everfall (or re-appeared in BBI).
probably going to switch her to fighter soon and start leveling a bit
How soon? Would have hired her but I just shut down the game and got into bed
was going to grind out the augments, but I'll keep her as is for now if people are using her
Why? If you're going magic pawn keep her magic. Go fighter or warrior if you really want the augments and so on but you plan on having her be a magic pawn go sorcerer or maybe strider. That we you get get the stamina and hp while still leveling magick
>playing pirate version
>no online mode
>ugly pawns
such is life
It's 5 dollars.
i live in south sudan, 5 dollars is too much
post paypal
what is paypal?
Its still fun without the online so don't despair too much. You can still take screenshots of your pawn and show them off here
>Went against online ur dragon using my level 160 assassin character, with a silver rank out cursed bite and chugging 4 conqueror's periapts at a time all the time
>Only did THIS much damage to it in the span of 10 minutes
Good god
It's a raid boss. If 20 of you were hitting at once then you would get results. thanks for telling me I should check back in an hour or two for its grace
>I'll scale it and strike from above
>spends over a minute crawling in circles around the dragon's heart without a single attack
Is warrior a good choice for a first play through if I want to deal massive damage and have fun?
What pawn should I use?
a lot of vocations are good at dealing massive damage, and warrior is definitely one of them. it's also definitely less versatile than the rest, but you should be fine. the best protip for warrior is: jump normal attack all the time
and you're definitely gonna need a pawn that deals magic damage
Thanks!
Any skills I should pick early on to make life easier?
Escape Slash has invincibility frames which lets you evade attacks if you time it properly, definitely worth learning to use it well
>invisible magick shield
>invisible magick bow
which is more ludo?
invisible magick shield.
>cheated carrying capacity
Probably more than you know.
Why does my Immolation seem to do way more damage than any of my Magic Bow attacks?
broken skill is broken
Did you level up more as a red vocation? Immolation is physical damage.
>Magic Rebalancer is a free periapt that stacks 4 times and doubles your magic damage.
No shit? I thought it just gave you more magick defense. Wtf
magick rebuffer (first form) does that, rebalancer (upgraded form) buffs both
maelstorm also takes an entire afternoon to charge
Immolation scales on physical damage, not magic damage.
what if dd2 was set on a different continent with different culture
Can I go min height warrior and not suck?
I don't see why not. My min height warrior pawn does just fine.
perfect height for suck
If your pawn isn't a giga mule you're probably going to hate life when all your armor becomes platemail
It's not that bad. Just get sinew.
LET ME GO, THERE ARE WOLVES NEARBY
I should reinstall
If anyone wants yet another mage, why not hire ol' Farnese? Can't promise she'll suit your needs, but hey that's what sending out pawns is for right?
Level 33, try Freja moniker if you can't find her.
On PC, should have specified.
Speaking of Berserk anyone got a good Schierke preset?
>saw another farnese but it was an arisen on the pawn's name
Anyone manage to make a perfect copy of Rook?
dunno if you can make it "perfect", but people have tried
https://dragonsdogma.fandom.com/wiki/Rook#Creating_Rook
Just defeated the dragon on hard mode.
Should I go to the dlc island or do the 20 stones quest?
I'm level 45
Finish the game all the way 1st since BBI's plot spoils the main game's
but finishing the game won't frick my progression? don't I have to start from 0?
bbi is separate progression
you can start a new game+ with all your experience and items. you'll just need to speed through the very beginning of the game until the BBI lady shows up again in Cassardis
this isn't true. if you finish the game and start over, your BBI progress is reset as well
and he had none
>I knew you for a villain! I've suffered your avarice and deceptions out of deference to the office of Arisen... But you have shown your true color, ser! You are a traitor to the duke and to us all!
>Put this rogue to chains, men! His Grace commands the Arisen's capture, dead or alive!
What the frick was this guy's problem?
>acts like your best bro one moment
>"I KNEW YOU FOR A VILLAIN!" the next
made sure to kill him personally
Sheep and Duke sucker
He actually has different lines if he likes you
He still attacks you.
not if he was your beloved
is the dragon gear the most OP in the game?
BBI lvl3 weapons are stronger and maybe BBI lvl2 weapons would be sidegrades but yeah those things are beasts.
Before the Dark Arisen probably.
how easy is to get the new gear?
I want those rings to get easier vocation xp.
Also how long is BBI compared to the base game?
BBI is short but you have to go through twice to see all the content, and the second time is literally just a frick you the whole way through. BBI lvl2 weapons you can get through your first run but lvl3's don't come until round 2.
Do I need to restart my main game progression or something to do the 2nd run?
Nope
BBI is like ten hours of content but they remix it on a second run and introduce a ton of new enemies to fight. You get gear from Olra's gacha scheme, but it costs RC so i hope your pawn has been getting hires because grinding crystals in BBI sucks
Pretty easy to start getting your hands on new stuff. The overall area is much smaller then the base game but it's nonstop fighting where as you were doing lots of traveling in between fights in the main game.
in BBI there's a guaranteed Ring of Perseverance (50% more discipline points) that I believe you can even get without killing anything if you're still underleveled / undergeared. it's behind one of the Moonbeam Gem doors, look up a guide if you really need it that badly
you can go for the second BBI run as soon as you finish the first, the dungeon puts you right back at the start once you finish it
I will now do another run through to Daimon and hope the gear purifications give me good rings.
>Think pawns are all moronic and useless
>Hire some strider pawn because they have a nice outfit
>They play super aggressive mixing a ranged bomb with jump attacks
>Seem to know every monster's weaknesses and how to exploit them
>Perfectly dodging all attacks
How do I make my pawn like that? It was like playing with an actual player until they jumped over a treasure chest into the abyss
That's just strider pawns in general. Something about their skillset really meshes with the AI.
>>They play super aggressive mixing a ranged bomb with jump attacks
probably mitigator but could be scather with just the right moves attached
>>Seem to know every monster's weaknesses and how to exploit them
utilitarian with bestiary stars
you could also play strider but if you don't keep it up they lose those habits.
utilitarian + full bestiary knowledge
My strider pawn solo'd a griffin before I even got properly introduced to it via story. He just bombed it with Fracture Dart and went in for the kill with Skull Spliter.
I wish I was as cool as my pawn.
is level 50 too low for BBI? Just found a big phantom at the start of the island but he left before I was able to get some damage on him
its gunna hurt at first but you get the gear to even it out pretty quick. you were supposed to die/run from Death so you probably won't have too hard a time of it.
Nah, death is going to appear to hunt you the whole way through. He's meant to be dealt with over multiple encounters.
Any advice for Fighter pawns? Only skill I have equipped is Dragon's Maw, I just gotta get her to stop climbing shit.
For BBI do you guys prefer Warriors or Fighters if you had to pick between the two?
>red pawn
>woman
>one skill
not happening my man. that said I prefer corona slash warriors.
Fighter seems best. Warrior tends to whiff a lot and dies too often. It is nice those few times they land an arc of deliverence and send enemies to the moon.
warrior pawns are better at staggering and knocking enemies down with qquicker skills instead of dealing damage, since their stronger skills take forever to charge and they'll frick it up every time
What are her inclinations?
Make sure she got a lots of stamina if she is dragon maw only. scather make them climb utilitarian make them grab hold on saurian
Coffee to get your attention. Ur-Dragon just went into Grace if anyone wants mostly free loot.
how long does the grace period last? can I get in there without ever having touched this UR generation?
About an hour. Yes as long as you go in during the Grace period and get a kill you get full loot from memory. Grace started about 2 minutes after I posted so you've got a bit of time.
You can literally almost see her aereola. That should be an instant ban.
Thank you anon. Just finished a daimon run and got it.
>dupe mask
Frick.
Myra (Moniker is Nina)
135
Strider
Horrible inclinations because of Ur-Dragon farming lol.
Shit it'll be 134 since that was when I last rested.
There you go. My first time gifting armor directly so here's hoping it sent.
Hasn't come through yet chief. Did you rest at the inn? A quick google says you have to before it sends across properly.
Also post your pawn details, I'll send across the Apollo mask if you want once the other one comes through, since i won't need it.
Sorry friend. Was busy gambling my RC on purification. I rested.
Worked. Cheers legend. Solaire, right?
Yes. Enjoy the mask. Urdragon has goofy grace timing.
>that shitty pour
Jesus fricking christ, what a b***h.
Thanks for the heads up, me lord.
Why is the weapon upgrade system such a chore?
MonHun DNA. You can skip the 2nd and 3rd tier and go straight to Dragonforged though.
how?
You only need the first level of upgrade to make gear eligible for Dragonforging. Further tiers just increase the likelihood that it happens. Cursed Dragons in BBI give a 40% chance at only the first tier, so it's pretty easy to just skip straight to Dragonforged (T4). Silver Dragonforged (T5) can't be skipped though.
Oh, and the Dragon and the Online Ur-Dragon are guaranteed to dragonforge any item even if it has no upgrade level.
Oh no how horrible.
40% at 0
do you need to kill the giga cyclops on bbi?
If you don't, Mercedes shows up later and calls you a gay with a little dick.
Why the frick is my Arisen a glowie.
buffs
The flood of e-girl pawns gets boring after a while, once you've seen one e-girl mage in underwear then you've seen them all
>Get to Come To Court on first playthrough
>A tad bored of the mainline quests
>Up to fallen city run 2 now and having heaps of fun though now getting my ass thoroughly handed to me
I really hope DD2 can mix them together so that exploring the world feels as much like a dungeon crawl as BBI does.
Is it possible to re-fight Grigori within the same playthrough and get the other dragon weapons
No. You WILL eat the NG+, and you WILL like it.
is going only warrior arisen and ranger pawn going to bite me in the ass later?
The game encourages you to switch classes throughout your playthrough in order to unlock all your potential upgrades. You aren't locked in to one class like other games.
assuming i only like warrior, would my pawn be majorly screwed going 100 levels as mage/sorc and then 100 as strider/ranger?
i really don't like using bows, magic, or shields..
i'm fine bringing enchanted weapons, i wasn't sure if i could compensate for no magic with items or something
i was planning duo so maybe i'll just do warrior and sorcerer instead
your leveling stats (and your pawn's) aren't gonna matter all that much the further you go since your weapons start making a much bigger difference, but you'll notice a decrease in damage if you switch to a yellow vocation after spending 100 in a blue one
you can beat the entire game going solo if you know how to deal with the stuff that'll hinder you, but it's gonna be painful for your first time if you don't try to have a more balanced party. that being said, there're very few enemies that really require a specific type of damage to deal with, and none of them are mandatory (in reality there're like 9 mandatory battles in the entire game)
also you're not gonna reach lvl 200 by the time you finish the game, more like 70-80 for the main game, and 120-130 if you do BBI on top of that. you'll only get to 200 if you continue farming BBI or do a new game+, which by that point I assume you'll have figured out which pawn vocation you think works best
thanks for the info and advice*
a few enemies can only be killed by magic damage, so you might wanna keep that in mind. you can carry one of those enchanted weapons, but your magic damage is going to be very low
BBI stuff gets legitimately unfun sometimes. hard to go wrong with smash and shoot though.
>this room
>the one with the maelstorm pawns and 2 chained gorecyclops
>Daimon stage 2
the unholy BBI trinity
I WILL beat this bullshit twice with my greatsword even if its just to call it gay properly.
entirely fair, good luck with that
that one fricking room with six of them is the reason i don't not cheese them anymore
to be frank I'm not afraid of busting out my secret technique if the fight is too bullshit so I don't know if that specific fight will even be an issue.
it's not as bad as it sounds, although i lied, there's 8 of them now that i remember
there's two in the middle you have to fight at the same time, the other six are in two groups of 3 guarding little chest nooks a ways away so you never have to fight more than 3 at a time if you mind your positioning
also i think it's the black abbey fiend luring incense fight so just don't bring the fiend lure and you're gucci
I use that secret technique a lot because chests are more valuable than fighting.
I mean if they're gunna try and frick me I don't have a problem giving them the bird tbh. Frick that, don't need that xp anyway.
yeah I saw them while trying to get the garm out. had a nice chuckle as I walked the frick out of there.
I died once to the maelstrom pawn. It's my fault for not just rushing the mages, but I was really surprised.
Can't wait for PvP arena in DD2.
The downside is they can't see that they raped you so it's balanced
yeah, this is what Maelstorm looks like from the giving end
just look at that moron casting the spell and releasing it as soon as the enemy is already dead
>Maelstrom pawn
I will now hire your pawn because it's a complete moron and needs the help.
>sorcerer.webm.mp4.mov
Jesus Christ wear a lantern and learn to perfect block
that room is covered in water, dummy, the lantern stops being a priority. and the ogre was like 3 frames away from dying when it got that hit at the end
I can't even fault myself. At least this death is funny too compared to stuff like a wall of eliminators or living armors.
ninefold bolt fricks this guys ass and calls him a homosexual too
yeah but having to change your vocation for missions is gay. to make it easier? sure. to make it not hell? can't get down with that. the homosexuals just wouldn't stop spinning.
so the augments you learn from BBI can be used by any vocation?
all augments can be used by any vocation
If you want to manipulate Lv.3 weapons on your first run of Daimon v2: go into the rift before the boss to make a checkpoint save. The list isn't generated yet and you can avoid paying a million rift crystals before you get the one item you want. Just reload to checkpoint and beat him over and over.
Are you chankin' my yain, onan?
I just used it myself to force the Mystic Knight shield. Random is random. I got a couple weapons in a row, but it works.
Merci
who are they?
Jessie Spano and Kelly Kapowski.
Couple of uppity b***hes from Bayside High who think their shit don't stink.
best spells for sorc pawns?
I see a lot of pawns running Maelstrom but I hate how it blocks out your screen if they get it off
The lightning chain shit and high miasma are the best along with comestion and the fricking ice spire frick blast but if you use all of them they're gonna get confused and never cast
in my experience they'll fail to cast too often if you give them the longer cast spells
that being said, having a full team of sorcerers carrying the same spells is the funnest shit ever thanks to spell syncing. all it takes is one opportunity and you get to release utter pandemonium
maelstrom is shit because dungeons. fulmination is best.
Bolide. Also Sorc pawns are extremely tempermental, and you don't want them to know higher than level 1 spells almost always, nor any core skill other than Levitate.
don't a lot of BBI monsters resist fire?
Should I bother trying to get gear from there, or just go straight to Bitterblack Island?
there's like 3 monsters specific to the everfall (might find one in BBI) and a handful thrown around gransys. just see those and head to the island.
>Daimon's second form
Fug dis I'm out of here. Sometimes feels like a JRPG with how often I get gear checked.
he's the final final boss for a reason, his resistances and defenses are pretty insane
chug some periapts if you need
Hey, hey you.
Yeah, the one who gave your mage grand anodyne.
Fuuuuck youuu.
>made a perfect pawn back when i first played on PS3
>console dead
>never able to get close to how she looked on PC
I want to do all From a different sky before tackling Greg.
'tis pain.
the worst part is you only get like 6 at a time. would be better as a checklist.
On the other hand doing this solo with Autonomy is just a fun romp.
So this.. Is the power of scather... Impressive...
