This so much. Leak season on here was enjoyable back in the gen 6/7 days because people would come up with elaborate schemes to troll the frick out of the borad. I remember how many "i'll dump the game in 30min, gotta take a smoke" or "yep uploading now" threads there were. In retrosepct they seemed silly, but when you're actually excited for the new games it's a good time. And you knew the games would eventually leak, so half of the bait threads had a non-zero probability of being real. Good times.

Magazine reveals are teasers, but are considered "leaks" in the sense that the company (TPCi, Bamco, etc.) does not want anyone outside of Japan to know about them until the OFFICIAL reveal. This is why you saw a trailer or an official announcement a few days later.
