I watched the show and wanted to play Fallout, and the only Fallout I had never played was 4. I tried playing and ended up quitting a bunch of times since launch because I hated it.
This time I went in with a different approach. I would focus on upgrades, leveling my character and would just skip all the dialogue and rush through the quests. It worked. I'm having fun. The quests don't matter, this is not an RPG.
This game is unironically more fun than NV for just going around exploring and shooting things.
Trannies aren't actually the majority no matter how prevalent they are in media; New Vegas isn't actually popular no matter how often you hear it be called the best.

Cyberpunk 2077 got popular and forgiven because of a anime by trigger.
Make something the mindless consumer can digest and they will seek out other things like the thing they just consumed.
Fallout 4 wasn't a bad game (with mods). It actually has a pretty good evil run and frick whatever fallout purists say. I played 1 and 2, they're great. 4 is good for different reasons
It's actually a pretty fun world to explore and the gameplay is decent once you've modded it to hell and back. It's just terrible as a Fallout game and an RPG. if you just ignore that it's supposed to be Fallout there's some fun to be had.
Fallout 76 received the same spike so you know it's just clueless shiteaters coming from the TV show. F4 and 76 are the first games that Bethesda pushes when you click the "woweee come here to play all those fallout games you hears about on tv!" Button on every platforms store. Thats why new Vegas and 3 didn't get the same pop even though they're better games (still shit overall)
