You have a very sick and warped idea of what discord is. It says more about what sort of servers you join than anything else. I'm in a few servers to monitor announcements from stuff like CTGP-7 (and their updated Citra build that can play online with real consoles) and Pretendo. And I'm in a small private server that's just a hangout for myself and a handful of friends, that we use discord for because nothing else seems to understand that anyone would want to control the volume of someone's stream separately from their voice.
