This game is a pain in the ass to play without mods. Levels can take two or three minutes to load on PC, even with and SSD, but with specific mods it only takes mere seconds.
Bethesda has refused to fix this for YEARS. They just let mods fix their bullshit and then call it a day.

Yeah I don't know what went wrong, mods are identical along with load order, just reverted versions but it completely broke. Blank computer terminals and every save is immediately corrupted/doesn't exist. I just stopped any automatic updates on fo4 because i have no doubt it will break now too.

This is the most misleading part of the update. You get all of the bad parts of the update (mods breaking) for free. You have to pay money to get their shitty Creation Club content pack.

Actually you can have over 60 fps by disabling Vsync (this also speeds up loading times) but the physics get fricked up and need a mod to get fixed. Incorporating this mod into the game was apparently too much work for a small indie studio like Bethesda.

The game starts to break apart 72 fps onwards up to 120 fps (small glitches, game runs a bit faster). 144 fps and above cause major physics glitches.

Nope. The game duplicates frames if it detects a monitor with a refresh rate higher than 60. There was an INI setting to disable it (iPresentInterval=0), but the update breaks it.
Yes but on the Steam Deck OLED you can set the refresh rate itself to be lower, on top of capping frames. So when I cap frames at 60, it actually also sets the refresh rate of the monitor to 60. Wouldn't that do the trick?
No, it cuts the frame rate in half no matter what. I solved it with pic related a few days ago, and had the game running at 60. Now it's capped to 30 again after updating.
Oh, so in that case it's better to set the refresh rate to 90, to at least get 45 frames instead of 30, while waiting for a more long term solution. Thanks anon.

You die until you mod out the save limitation.
I always did, the issue is not the damage multipliers or whatever, it's the way health is assigned to certain higher level enemies especially human ones, certain npc just have exponentially more health. Much better once you get a mod that fixes that, and then you can chose whatever difficulty/damage multipliers you want.

Actually no sex mods unless you count CBBE. I just had a lot of mods for different characters, so for example I had a mod that added a Dwemer race and like 20 mods of different Dwemer related spells/quests/items that I used on that character, a Dunmer lich wizard character with a bunch of Morrowind/Dunmer related mods and a huge amount of spell mods, a vampire character with a bunch of vampire mods, etc. Adding all these together with graphics mods, city overhauls, general armor/weapon and new quest mods, and it actually wasn't that hard to hit 400 after a few months of playing and adding small things.
