>Hey! Want to stop whatever shit you are doing and join this quest with 8 strangers who don't communicate and might as well be bots, as you slowly chip away at a bullet sponge in increments so small you can barely tell who is even putting in the most work?? Don't worry, you literally cannot lose. >It will probably drop loot that will totally trivialize whatever you are currently doing in the main game's story mode. Yeah, that story mode we made such a big deal about adding in our attempt to salvage the game years ago!
I am probably easier on 76 than a lot of people but holy shit the experience is absolutely schizophrenic if you aren't already in end-game.
No I won't be playing a horrible game
No I won't be watching a horrible show
You israelites are so moronic you can't even make games and shows anymore lol you're fricked
just fallout 4 but mmo, maybe like elder scrolls online in a sense. suprisingly has more RPG mechanics than FO4 since ur hardcapped on what skills you can carry at once due to your SPECIAL stats dictating the perks and their levels u can carry.
PvP is non-existant if ur wondering, last time i played. everyone was pretty chill and i theres barely if any incentive to duel it out.
Nope, you get everything normally, and they made it fast and doubled what it was.
If you have frens, you can frick shit up and build your own Bullshit camp
>game is for free for 6 days >has a discount and goes for 8 bux now
I bet once the free trial expires its gonna go back to full price, to make fools pay more
Going to be honest
I never disliked 76, I played it when it came out, poured a little over 100 hours exploring and doing the main quest, and had fun. Then the game got "good" for more people with some kino QOL, but its mostly just fun as a once in a blue moon check in to do new shit, Once youve been all over the map theres nothing left for you.
>Just support this abysmal frickfest of a direction Bethesda wants to take the series torwards
Why the frick would I do this? Are you having trouble imagining yourself missing breakfast this morning or something?
>Obtrusive hud filled with shit that can't be scaled or disabled >Enemies are blind, bullet sponges, and respawn in seconds >Can't loot entire inventory of enemies >Whole loot system is based around crafting, meaning most of your time is spent just looting random junk, then breaking it down to craft. Spend more time in menus than you do playing the game >Most missions are just a note or radio broadcast >Can't build camp inside existing structures >Lore is nonsensical. Why is BoS and Enclave here? Why are people running around in NCR ranger armor?
Not good. Even solo play you can tell its an MMO. There are mobs, all leveled to you, every 5ft and they respawn within seconds. Loot they drop is mostly random instead of their actual inventory like other Bethesda games. And almost every quest is just some MMO-style "activate the generators (0/5)" generic trash
Fo4 but worse all the cool bethesda engine stuff is taken out and it feels like Outer worlds interactivity wise. No physics, npcs stand in one place, if you drop something it shows up as a static dog poo bag, cant loot clothes off enemies, dead enemies dissapear after some time and respawn, etc
>give game away for free, people still hate it
Thanks anons, I'll still load it just to witness how fricking bad it is but if the solo play can't even get the basics right then it's getting deleted within a day. The game really does sound like an unashamed cashgrab off the back of them building a decent sized fanbase.

You have to pay a monthly fee to store your stuff. If someone built a house where you plan to, you have to move servers or pay an additional monthly fee to have your own private server.
>second life: wastelands edition
Uuuuft... and do FO fans actually give these c**ts real money? Can't be that many gullible homosexuals out there who make it worthwhile, surely...
There is a reason why its given for free, nothing good comes free...
I'm guessing the above is why they're gifting it away, to attract more marks to the scam.
You can treat it like a single player game and never have to interact with anyone else. As an SP game it's honestly okay. The original quests suck ass, but the new expansions like Brotherhood of Steel are decent. You can affect the ending to some quests and there are stuff like speech checks. It's some weird blend of FO4 and NV, doing neither particularly well but improving on the worst parts of both.
>and respawn in seconds
I haven't seen that, but they are very laggy. They rubberband quite a bit and damage takes half a second to calculate. I think the bullet sponge problem is because the double exp is making us scale their levels up way faster than we're getting gear. >Spend more time in menus than you do playing the game
Press T to auto-scrap all junk, then press T to throw all junk into your storage box. Normal weapons and armor seem to not be worth picking up unless you're going to use them. >Can't build camp inside existing structures
They band-aid fixed this at some point by letting you unlock an instanced area to add to your camp called shelters. Of course, you get one for free from a quest and all the others are in the cash shop.
You have to pay a monthly fee to store your stuff. If someone built a house where you plan to, you have to move servers or pay an additional monthly fee to have your own private server.
>You have to pay a monthly fee to store your stuff
You have a free stash box with 1200 weight, the infinite crafting material and ammo boxes are from the sub fee. >If someone built a house where you plan to, you have to move servers or pay an additional monthly fee to have your own private server
You join a random server every time you start the game. If someone's camp happens to be where yours is placed, you have the option to search for another server or just join anyway. When they leave the server you can put your camp down. This isn't a persistent MMO.
The game isn't good, but you're spreading misinformation because you're half informed about how the game works.
>I haven't seen that
How? Do you play at Sonic speed? I go into some POI, clear it out, and then look around for any decent loot and environmental storytelling. Before I even get the place 1/4 looted, enemies are spawning.
Maybe it's based on player density, I somehow end up in servers with a bunch of high level people on the other side of the map rather than other new players near the start. Wouldn't surprise me if the spawn rates go full moron because too many people are in an area.
To the contrary, FO76 did the near impossible by taking FO4 and working backwards to produce a worse game from there. Imagine PAYING real life shekels MONTHLY to store junk and scrap metal that a game forces you to loot everything for the crafting system in the first place.
I have no desire to check out this spin-off shit and I'm one of the ones who says the other Bethesda games are worth trying out just to see what they're like.
I played it a few weeks ago to try again and it's still pretty shit. Everything jerks and hitches unnaturally because it all has to be approved by the server and all enemy movement is somehow even more janky and rubberbanding than normal Bethesda games because of it.
Do I have to engage with other players to beat certain missions?
Because that's why I stopped playing, the fact that certain bosses are designed for groups only and are only soloable by people with insane meta gear.
This game and ESO were handcrafted for brand-recognition piglets. The kind of subhumans that played through immersive single player first person RPGs and thought to themselves: >this would be so much better if it was in 3rd person and a bunch of random superheroes were lag sliding around my screen zapping all of the enemies and NPCs. Also, I'd like to pay a monthly fee plus extra for basic features like storing items.
Truly, the type of people that should be euthanized or sterilized for the protection of themselves and everyone around them.
No I will not play your zogslop dogshit. My time is worth more. Literally anything is better than 76. There is reason they have given it away for free over a dozen times can be purchased on any platform for under $4.
I 100%'d the achievements so I'm done with it, but it's got some of the best gunplay for a Fallout game when you get to end game builds. Shame the end game is mostly just grinding shit like stamps and events, but it's not as bad as most people make it out to be. Definitely not a good Falloit game though.
It is honestly only the best because of the movement speed and I can just turn up to a location and wreck a bunch of super mutants that will quickly respawn. Also the map is so much nicer because of all of the nature.
>get constantly bombarded with team announcements
>wonder wtf those pop-ups are
>its an mmorpg?????
meh i downloaded fallout 4 instead
>Hey! Want to stop whatever shit you are doing and join this quest with 8 strangers who don't communicate and might as well be bots, as you slowly chip away at a bullet sponge in increments so small you can barely tell who is even putting in the most work?? Don't worry, you literally cannot lose.

Downloading it now
But I didn't like the VATS in 4 and had to melee shit since I suck at aiming
Is this still a viable option
VATS doesn't even slow down time in 76. you also need a perk to aim at body parts with it
There is no VATS, it just auto aims when you activate it
>It's free and good now
Wrong. It was good before they removed legacies and fricked up level scaling
No I won't be playing a horrible game
No I won't be watching a horrible show
You israelites are so moronic you can't even make games and shows anymore lol you're fricked
To this day I still don't even know what sort of game this is. Is it Conan Exiles or is it Destiny?

Don't you have to pay real money to have more junk storage for crafting in this game?
Nope, you get everything normally, and they made it fast and doubled what it was.
If you have frens, you can frick shit up and build your own Bullshit camp
Why not just play 4 instead? I don't want some online multiplayer bullshit
I dont get why its even multiplayer, so far i have come across 1 player that flew over me in power armor never to be seen again. Wheres the co-op?
>game is for free for 6 days
>has a discount and goes for 8 bux now
I bet once the free trial expires its gonna go back to full price, to make fools pay more
>once the sale ends, it will return to full price.
damn you figured it out, moron.
>and good
How so?
I would but the performance is bad on my dinosaur
>needs online connection to play
Literal reason why I can't play it.
Only thing that sounds cool about it is the house building.
Ah yes, the thing from FO4, but now you can use real money to buy those FO4 assets
>but now you can use real money to buy those FO4 assets
God fricking dammit.
How even worse padded out is it compared to fallout 4?
Going to be honest

>Just support this abysmal frickfest of a direction Bethesda wants to take the series torwards

My sanity, my dignity, my self respect... My lunch
Playing it now. Its not good.

Downloading now (since it's free). How is it for single-players? I've got zero intention to do multi-player and I've heard they put npc shit in.
Not good. Even solo play you can tell its an MMO. There are mobs, all leveled to you, every 5ft and they respawn within seconds. What happens to my stuff if i dont pay the fee?
It stays locked in the paid storage chest and you can't access it until you pay again.
That is beyond pathetic. No wonder they started to sell skyrim mods, greedy bastards
It stays, you just can't add any more. Which makes the fricking suck, since everything about the game is built around crafting.

Best part? Tandi isnt even born yet.

>NCR Ranger Armor
NV Shill Lorelet who never played Lonesome road everyone
As far as I can tell from playing through the single player content, the player character in Fallout 76 literally started the Enclave post-war.
Time, disc space, gigabytes of useless download, nerve seeing the store crap e.t.c. so much to loose to be honest
Used to responsive Japanese made action games? Don't play this trash.
>You literally have nothing to lose.
just my limited time on this godforsaken earth no thank you todd
To the contrary, FO76 did the near impossible by taking FO4 and working backwards to produce a worse game from there. Imagine PAYING real life shekels MONTHLY to store junk and scrap metal that a game forces you to loot everything for the crafting system in the first place.
frick off Todd
I have no desire to check out this spin-off shit and I'm one of the ones who says the other Bethesda games are worth trying out just to see what they're like.
it's not free. it's a free weekend. that's like free crack, but less fun and worse for your health and social life.
I played it a few weeks ago to try again and it's still pretty shit. Everything jerks and hitches unnaturally because it all has to be approved by the server and all enemy movement is somehow even more janky and rubberbanding than normal Bethesda games because of it.
Fallout 76 is impressively shit.
Do I have to engage with other players to beat certain missions?
Because that's why I stopped playing, the fact that certain bosses are designed for groups only and are only soloable by people with insane meta gear.
No thanks I'd still be losing time which is more valuable than anything else. Plus I don't play garbage even when it's free.

This shit freebie doesn't even let me log in to my Bethesda account. No wonder it's free.
>unavailable in my region
I literally can't, thanks to Puta moronation.
I 100%'d the achievements so I'm done with it, but it's got some of the best gunplay for a Fallout game when you get to end game builds. Is there a way to play in my own world? I joined some randoms and it was laggy as frick.
I got a used copy of FO76 from redbox for $6 on PS4 and it was awful
>Fallout 76
not free on steam
Nope no interest in multiplayer slopout. Make a single player rpg and money is Todds
