Replayed it before more shit inevitably breaks.
About time they fixed this crap. People today throw a fit if the framerates for a new game are bad, remember the state Fallout NW was in on release? And people gave it a pass.
>gaming illiteracy
This will innevitably break the mods that have been abandoned for the last 10 years.
You are a fricking homosexual, and you should have a nice day.
>This will innevitably break the mods that have been abandoned for the last 10 years.
Modders will likely just do the same thing they did when Fallout 3 got updated a few years ago and introduce a downgrading tool. It will only be an issue for a month at the longest.
>It will only be an issue for a month at the longest.
I think no issue would be better
I think Bethesda's engines not being absolute shit so these kind of issues wouldn't exist in the first place would be better.
Mods are full of buggy dogshit that you don't actually need to enjoy the game anyway.
Good goy listen to zenimax
>He thinks this will be good
shadow updating 10 year old games is never a good thing
they are desperate to break peoples NV so they flock to starfield to cope
omg sisters 64 bit exe + 8gb patch imagine the mods :3
I would rather get openmw ported to vegas
Same. Regardless, I wish FNV got memory leak and loading problems solved so schizo saving wasn't so much of necessity.
Use gog
Bout time, those rape subplots weren’t esg compliant
Quake live dx12 wrapper please
Unless they share bits of the code for SKSE mods to hook into like the did with skyrim, they can frick off
Do you frickers have no clue about the upcoming Fallout show which they're cashing in on further by releasing every game again but "fixed"? It was announced weeks ago you could buy some shit that'll give you a SPECIAL card set with a different code for a different game on the back of each card. I'd be surprised if the shit even hit steam and wasn't a bethesda launcher exclusive.
>bethesda launcher
this is a thing (still)?
very grim
oh the games are steam redeemable and it's only $60 and comes with some model mini nuke that you put the cards in or something
https://gear.bethesda.net/products/fallout-anthology-collectors-edition-mini-nuke
>breaks mods just to push some marketing garbage for their new show
Kek
Why the frick won't they release FO1 and 2 on mobile and shit like Switch and consoles then?
Because they don't have source code, and because they have no interests in Fallout 1 and 2 + it's too risky financially. Unless somebody shits out source code of those games and they have spare money, nothing will happen.
>Why the frick won't they release FO1 and 2 on mobile and shit like Switch and consoles then?
First assumption is because 1/2 would require a full remake and not just a port. Second assumption is because like the other guy said. The people into 3D Fallout have no interest in 2D Fallout.
Plus they're not remastering or any shit like that, they're just releasing new patches to make the games just werk because the show is coming out and I guess they're expecting an overwhelming number of new people interested in it?
>break 95% of mods
>Everyone will cry and complain
>This will actually work as a filter for supported mods and flush away the extremely unpopular, irrelevant and dead mods
>Even the dead mods, if popular enough, will be forked and get new builds
>In less than a year the mod scene will be rejuvenated by the hurdle and we will see a resurgence of mods that work well
>Todd takes the Taleworlds approach by dropping a patch every two weeks just to buckbreak the scene further
>eventually everyone gets fed up going back to Starfield
Trust the plan
>didn't work with Fallout 4
>didn't work with Skyrim
>didn't work with Skyrim Special Edition
"sUrEly it wIll work now"
You know what you have to do. You have to have a nice day. You're too moronic.
You can never be TOO moronic
It's like saying you can be TOO cool, or TOO happy
Cant break my cracked copy of the original game from a disc manually updated and fan fixes applied, and runing throug NVSE and having hundreds of mods making it look and play much better
And yet it'll probably break my officially downloaded/updated and unmodded save because I decided I wanted to put my NV replay urges to rest by finally finishing the DLC's.
Yes. Released alongside their dogshit fricking Amazon show.
Isn't this to do with the Fallout Anthology that's getting released soon?
gog release with offline installers
simple as
Best thing, they already applied the 4gb patch and stutter fix, so if you wanna go vanilla this is the best choice
I'm not rebuying a game I bought in fricking 2010
Fricking shill.
Apparently you didn't buy it, only rented.
I mean good for you
I am also not doubledipping with the rest of fallout games that ive got on steam.
Wasnt all fallouts up to NV given away for free by epic store? Let me guess bethesda did this on purpose to implement their mod store for older games...
>Todd notices Fallout: NV is still getting mods 10 years later
>goes in and breaks them
TODD NO THIS ISN'T THE WAY TO COPE WITH HOW STARFIELD SUCKED
Please, for the love of god, please just release a separate version of the game like you did with Skyrim.
>borked my folder trying to get the CK working
>now stuck trying to rejig everything just as I got everything working perfectly
Total Update Death
Set it to only update on launch.
IIRC it's fine at that point to just run it with SKSE, because steam won't see that as the game being launched.
NVSE rather than SKSE in this case, sorry.
Works for either game since Todd has fricked both with his updates.
pirate chads win again
Chuds think they can ignore Starfield and just keep playing NV?
Sorry, i am breaking your mods. Stop being poor and buy the new game.
Fallout NV ain't getting any update.
They will release it as a seperate version or as "update" to Fallout 4s install.
Don't be a moron, just pirate ultimate edition. There's literally no reason to have it linked into steam.
>turn off auto updates on Steam
>only open game with MO2
How you morons not know this yet
Find your app id then go into steam and change the app manifest file to read only.
