Tsuki is pretty hit or miss and the whole original game is extremely unpolished in a lot of ways.
The remake, while it has it flaws and is barely halfway done, does mmanage to fix a lot of the original issues. At least in the first two routes.

All the slice of life admittedly got to be a bit much when I was ready to move on already, but even that worked with the actual plot, and it made a great sendoff to everything in Stay Night. I was sad when there was nothing more to see.
