To sound more dramatic or something, or to pace out the runtime of his video essay. If it's the prior it's not working since he doesn't speak in a baritone and his tone of voice makes him sound like he's trying too hard. I'll give him a bit of credit for turning me in on Baki, though.

The Funger video he made kind of put me off his channel. Before then I sort of coasted by on "okay I'm interested in what the subject of the videos is" like the Garfield one but the Fear & Hunger vid was barely even a conclusive coverage of the game and really cemented how much of an obligatory high school essay his content seems to have slowly been turning into more of.

Got into it long before Wolf's video on it (which I didn't feel it did a good job of covering the game at all) and I really love the ideas and world and such, but I don't think I could acquire the taste for the gameplay.
summarizes it pretty well. I know what it's going for but I don't gel with it. If you can push through the mechanical unfairness if the world draws you in, which is what I did, or you can just decide it ain't for you. Either is fair. Can't speak for Termina personally, but I am interested.
first game is actually really good a creative, with a pretty unique combat system that really shines (or at least used to before the dev nerfed everything into the ground)
