Before working in cx service, I had this feeling that Americans are this and that, but while I joined to party with the devil by taking calls, my beliefs have been confirmed and nothing can change my mindset about how americans truly behave. From small inconvienences to throwing tantrums, to making xenophobic remarks towards me and displaying their russophobic attitudes toward me, despite living in United States... And whenever I have to deal with Americans, I don't like them. Americans are disgusting pigs, and I am not even trolling. I have never met a nice american in all my life. Everybody is acting nice but the individualistic mindset leads to hate towards other nations. Being nice doesn't equal being genuine. And thankfully my blackpill has been confirmed that americans are not nice at all, I hate them with such a vitriolic rage that I can't describe in just words. I work in a call centre.A man called today and was really upset about a charge on his account. He would barely let me speak and kept telling me that I could reply to him by saying “yes sir”, “no, sir”, and that I couldn’t call him by his first name, but rather Mr. Lastname because he could tell that I was a young lady and I needed to respect him for being older and more experienced than me. He went on a rant about how much more he understood the world than me, and that it was obvious that I was not in the United States and his money funds my 3rd world pay checks, so I should’ve been grateful to speak with him (I am very obviously a native US English speaker from the Midwest???). We do have offshore agents and now I can only imagine what they go through on a daily basis.
It seemed like he was getting off from talking to me that way and it was disgusting. I finally just hung up because he wouldn’t let me end the call. I cried for a few minutes just out of sheer frustration and told my sup about what happened. My supervisor listened to the call and was very supportive. He promptly contacted his upper management to have that customer’s account removed. I feel bad for the poor soul who he will inevitably call next after he realizes his account is gone, but I’m very glad to finally work for a company that actually holds customers accountable for their actions.

At a call center, no one really wants to be talking to you. Regardless if you are sales or support, you're on the phone because they are experiencing a problem or you are shilling something they dont need. Even the most polite people dont want to be there That feeling of being unwanted wears down on you. And on top of that you get the abusive randos.
Working fast food sucks too but when I'm at MiccyD's I'm at least buying tasty burger and I smile as I grab by nuggos. Most customer are there because they want to be and you can feel it.
