that's a good thing
the game plays exactly like payday 2, the biggest changes are how armor works and the new stealth mechanics but if you played payday 2 you will grasp how to play the game almost immediately.
The only real difference in loud gameplay is you cant run through open field during an assault anymore without getting raped (a good thing btw), indoor combat is gonna feel exactly like how you are used to playing in PD2
Also I forgot to mention this but since you have a respawn timer now I feel like trading for players to restock is going to be super OP.
Overkill difficulty already felt pretty easy with 7 skill points to work with in the beta so I'm worried about how much of a joke it will end up being when we have the 21 in the final game.

Either tune out all the high praise and pay attention only to when the shills spell out the changes and how gameplay works, or just straight up watch on mute.
I for one heavily enjoy the fact that 3 is going to play more like 1 than 2, but I'm still extremely skeptical of armor not being "infinite" like it was on 1 and 2. Unless there are ways to guarantee not being even grazed by a single bullet for an entire heist, then it just means every match has a hardcoded time limit where you're guaranteed to fail due to attrition with nothing you do about it other than speedrun the level.

my opinion of the beta after playing it a bunch is that its basically 90% payday 2 but everything that has been changed is pretty much universally a good change, the improvements to stealth mechanics are well overdue, the biggest deal is that going from stealth to loud in payday 3 is actually viable and they are not mutually exclusive playstyles anymore.
The only things I don't like vs payday 2 is the CoD style weapon mod unlocking and the fact that you cant jump into the escape van anymore (latter will pronbably be changed)
