You fully admit that engaging with any wiki source is outright required for you to play games to begin with, and when you can't do so or judge it not to be good enough you instead deprive yourself of the game in question, driving up the perceived need for such a site to exist regardless of quality instead of just learning how to play and enjoy a videogame without having your hand held. And this is before even playing the game, without considering that for 5 of you there will be 500 in the same scenario that don't recognize the site is shit.
Do yourself and me a favour, download (don't even need to buy) whatever game you had in mind, close your browser and just play it for maybe 3 hours. Don't say "b-but what if I can make a mistake in my character" "w-what about some early quest", just play it.

I found out yesterday that there was an actual Baldur's Gate 3 wiki by looking around discussion forums. I've tried everything to see if I could get it to show up in search results and not even filtering out fextralife does the trick. The SEO algorithm is israeli as frick.
Some wikis also just choose not to be on Google (eg 1dGanker), though I doubt that's the case here.

Use breezewiki.com for fandoms. It's an alternative frontend, like invidious is for youtube. And install the LibRedirect browser extension while you're at it.
