They removed all character customization so that they could tell a more "emotional" story, and that story turned out to be Sunday morning cartoon tier.
I like FF6 the most because I feel like it's got the best story, the defined split between WoB and WoR and how the characters lived beyond the story, and advanced and grew and developed is all just so fricking cool and it was the first time I saw something like that in a game.

Yeah but my science degree was in a hard field. It wasn't some stupid shit. It was in a medical field so its standards only go up as the years go on not down. It was extremely strict. If we missed 3 labs it was an automatic fail straight away even if you were in hospital.
