You need to see Jenova for what it is: a virus/parasite/symbiont, a force of nature. Sephiroth's own desires are warped into something that will help propagate the virus. Jenova's biological imperative is simply to infect and spread. For Sephiroth, that becomes merging with the Lifestream, becoming a god, and then traveling across the cosmos to infect the rest of the universe.
With the reach of his sword, you'd need a megaphone to talk to him before he cuts you in half. Literally no character in FF7 is able to use megaphone, though

Not sure that would have stopped him. There is also the question whether or not being close to Jenova may have triggered some dormant homicidal tendencies in him. All Jenova cells want to return to the main body and Sephiroth is basically a huge walking cluster of them. There must have been some sort of resonance between them.
Hard to say. We know Jenova’s presence didn’t do much to Genesis, but his cellular structure is also so incompatible with the Jenova strain that his immune system nearly destroyed him while killing it. He’s probably less susceptible than Sephiroth was.

It's a seamlessly interconnected world and there are various different methods of transportation. The ones we know of for sure are the ship, the buggy, the tiny bronco, and various different types of Chocobo.

That said, I'm weirdly more hype for Stellar Blade. I liked FF7R but for some reason Rebirth hasn't really piqued my interest much.
I feel like maybe part of it is that all anyone wants to know is what happens to Aerith, and there's no real good solution. If she lives, it completely upends the original story, and if she dies, then there's not much new to explore outside of the Zack stuff. It might be more appealing when we get the third game, I'm not sure.

I figured they would just make it Cloud but young during the flashback, but they quite literally make it entirely Zacks personality, just with Clouds face. Hell even the actual face is different, the flashback Clouds face model is more rounded like Zacks is, compared to his current version.
Also the fact that you can hear the real Cloud the couple of times the security guard with you talks is 10/10. It rides that fine line between being obvious for people in the know, and being completely hidden to those that are new to the game and never played the OG.

seph is her way to destroy the world, jenvoa is like a lovecraftian eldrich space monster ayylmao that just comes to kill and conquer planets. Sephiroth was made from that ayylmao cells. Seph ends up agreeing with Jenova for no good reason but he does.
