@YasumiMatsuno Sometimes people say to me, "You are influenced by Saber, aren't you? Final Fantasy Tactics was released in 1997 and Fate/stay night in 2004, which are completely different years. But that doesn't mean that neither Yoshida nor I think that the Saber side plagiarized anything. 'ㅂ')
I feel like I know a lot about video games, but up until this day I have no idea what fate exactly is.
It's a visual novel with a bunch of terrible sequels people try to pass off as video games.
I played fate extra and thought it was decent aside from the reused locations and dungeons. like tron and 999 crossed together. I was really disappointed when I found out that most games in the series are not in the same universe as extra and the one sequel we got is dynasty warriors shit.
It's one of several Japanese franchises that follows the "Take a category of real-life things and personify them as little Japanese girls." In Fate's case, it's taking actual historical figures and twisting them into moeshit so fans can lust over waifus while also getting to enjoy and theorycraft what new Rule 63 direction the series will go in next.
But like most franchises of these types, there's really no substance that you haven't already seen dozens of times in every other Isekai fantasy anime/manga.
Original Fate isn't even that good of you aren't a teenager.
nope, fate really is that good and the pinnacle of VNs. the only flaws are that it has too many slice of life scenes and the sex scenes in fate and UBW. genuinely don't even get what aspect about fate is better as a teenager than as an adult other than maybe fate route
