how many level 90 dungeons do you need to do, without expert bonus, to get 1500 tomes? aetherfont gives 80. lets go with that. that means you need to do 19 aetherfonts to get 1500 tomes.
now, in the past, you would have been given a quest to do say, 15 level 90 dungeons to get 1 goodboy token each (or in the case of ARR, about a 20% chance) and trade those for the meteors.

NTA, but the relic "quest" is not a quest at all, it's just people doing the exact same fricking routine they've been doing for years whenever you hit max level. At least Bozja and Eureka gave the illusion that FFXIV is an MMO. Every location outside of city-states and endgame gear vendors is fricking dead, the exceptions being launch and patch day, but even then all that amounts to is everyone standing around one NPC and watching cutscenes.

Today I finally did Aetherfont with a party where everyone was actually pressing buttons.
I was ASTOUNDED at the fricking difference in timings. Only needed one mitigation for each pull, in fact a couple times I wasted them because I pressed the next one before realizing there were only three mobs left with a sliver of health anyway. Didn't see half the mechanics of the bosses. Finished it in half the time it usually takes to run that dungeon.
Left me completely bewildered as to why people try so little when actually doing your damn rotation properly actually makes it end so much faster and easier.

As a healer, unless the tank ROYALLY fricks up or is exceptionally obnoxious, I give them a comm every time. If you are playing a male character, you've selected nightmare mode, most players have twitter brainrot and and only comm females. Despite what the other anon said, even as not just a healer, but an AST with a good portrait and optimal rotation. I am lucky to get one or two coms. People hate male characters.

some of the people from the Revival teams were streaming with Dalamud running
Someone from /xivg/ (massive fricking autist that cheats and bots himself) compiled clips of every team that was running Dalamud and reported them to SE for cheating
Multiple teams got disqualified because of this reports for third-party tools. This caused a massive shitstorm in the Revival Discord, and later they figured out that "the ebil hacker known as 4chinz" was behind their totally unfair DQs.
So now they are trying to do everything in their power to get the /xivg/ team disqualified, despite the homosexual that got them DQ'd (Kong) having nothing to do with the team himself, and he just reported them on his own because he has a lot of free time on his hands
To be fair, Kong is extremely cringe (he's also a SEAmonkey and also cheats himself), but getting those teams DQ'd was very based of him

back in the feast days so few people played that it was incredibly easy to get 8 guys together and fix queues to boost someone to the top 10. in modern CC you just queue sync in discord and either dominate as a premade if you get the same team or have one person AFK if they're on the enemy team. having a single person AFK is essentially an auto-lose, so your bud gets boosted for free.

typically they either don't care, or have the first guy use a low-tier alt to boost them back up to a point they can queue with the main again

Are there any DoH/DoL quests past 70 or not like job quests?
There are no more job quests, but you get the Crystalline Mean quests in ShB and the Studium quests in EW. Kinda work like role quests in that they encompass more than one job (usually) but also aren't as generalized as combat job role quests.

This, BLU seems overpowered at a glance but when you put it in real content with real mechanics it showcases just how weak the job is. There are a couple things to remember however
>BLU when doing content is alerady geared to the MAX ilvl of that expansion, not the ilvl of that specific patch, so outside of late expansion content you're doing stuff way way way overgeared.

BLU doesn't have overpowered skills the way people meme about it. It's about as powerful as any other dps job of the same level. The overpowered thing is their suicide ability that the whole party spams when the boss is below 10% so you can burst it down before enrage because otherwise you're not meeting the enrage check even with 7 dps.
their skills aren't affected by level sync which means all level synced blu content like fates, alexander and soon, omega, raids have you play with the ability potencies of a lv80 job
You definitely can beat enrage with 8 BLUs without suicide skills, but proper damage rotation for BLUs is surprisingly hard for some people
I was always MT though, so not much I could do
it doesn't matter in alexander and it won't matter in omega very soon with the huge potency boost blu will get in 6.45. some morbol groups actually use macros to do the rotation because the horrible clipping still doesn't overcome the ridiculous potencies blu skills have at lower levels
