if you're going for week 1 or 2 clears then yes a static is good but if your static is stuck on second tier after week 3 just abandon them you're better off going into pf and learning the whole fight while pushing your own prog points
PF is pretty good at first. The good people will start clearing and be done with the first fight within a few hours and move on. Once everyone else incapable of thought starts following guides and gearing up and getting through things, that's when PF goes to shit. It starts happening by the first weekend to some degree, but it gets considerably worse as time goes on.
Isn't it week 10 or something? If your static is still on phase 1 after this long and they haven't had some horrific scheduling issues keeping them from raiding, they're really shit.

The whole thing feels like it got hastily slapped together with a final draft that wasn't really refined or polished compared to ShB.
I don't fully disagree but I also feel like dropping hints or starting to establish all that happened before hand might have ruined it as a plot twist and big "Oh frick" moment. I definitely think EW had pacing issues out the ass though, but I dunno how I'd have solved it without just doing two expansions.
Probably find better things to do with time and assets than several hours of fricking with the Loporitts in one of the worst pacing breakers ever, or running around Labyrinthos doing chores with part of the EW theme looping the entire time.

Honestly the HW and SB trailers aren't really very good IMO. The HW trailer is way too "in the moment" concerning the current events in the MSQ at that time and pretty much nothing happens in the SB trailer at all. ShB and EW are way more appealing (ShB in particular is one of the best video game trailers ever made IMO). DT teaser is kinda weak but it's also just a teaser so it might fill out a bit in the full version.

Clearing week 1 isn't actually a very high bar in terms of skill. You can find capable people without having to be in the same group as some balance mentor troony.

if you're going for week 1 or 2 clears then yes a static is good but if your static is stuck on second tier after week 3 just abandon them you're better off going into pf and learning the whole fight while pushing your own prog points
PF is pretty good at first. The good people will start clearing and be done with the first fight within a few hours and move on. Once everyone else incapable of thought starts following guides and gearing up and getting through things, that's when PF goes to shit.
It starts happening by the first weekend to some degree, but it gets considerably worse as time goes on.

I don't fully disagree but I also feel like dropping hints or starting to establish all that happened before hand might have ruined it as a plot twist and big "Oh frick" moment. I definitely think EW had pacing issues out the ass though, but I dunno how I'd have solved it without just doing two expansions.

I don't even give Trancer shit the time of day, but all of Endwalker suffers this really. Horrifically bad pacing and rushing past way too much shit or sidelining major world drama and developments in favor of a plot that loses its focus and tried to do both too much and too little. Whereas Shadowbringers subverted the whole "war with Garlemald" that Stormblood built up to and people managed to appreciate what it did, Endwalker managed to even frick up the fanny danny and Zenos set up and took a weird ass route for the source of all problems that near-instantly escalates to fricking edge of the universe space travel.
The whole thing feels like it got hastily slapped together with a final draft that wasn't really refined or polished compared to ShB.

In coping themselves into having such a fanciful idea of death, the Ancients lost sight of what an important thing it was, and the level of respect it deserves. And this conversely translated into losing a respect for life itself, both their own lives and the lives of their creations. It was cultural decay that was already starting to destroy them. And Hermes wasn't even trying to kill anyone either, he sent Meteion out to get a new perspective on things and accidentally a cosmic horror.

Just the one Meteion, and it would have made no difference if she escaped or not because Endsinger was a hivemind entity that was already established even before it linked up to the Meteion in Elpis. The HW trailer is way too "in the moment" concerning the current events in the MSQ at that time and pretty much nothing happens in the SB trailer at all. ShB and EW are way more appealing (ShB in particular is one of the best video game trailers ever made IMO). DT teaser is kinda weak but it's also just a teaser so it might fill out a bit in the full version.

my assumption was that normal/integrated creatures have souls, but the ones that are literally just made don't because they haven't interacted with the lifestream yet, so there's nothing really there to mourn as "lost" yet beyond the aether that went into it

The great kami in Doman and Hingan religion don't temper anybody, so Yotsuyu mantling Tsukuyomi in such a way probably didn't temper her. The nature of her summoning was also extremely selfish and self-aggrandizing, so summoning "herself" may instead have tempered her but with no visible repercussions.
