There are some good pieces for healing and casting. I liked the nier raids, but they are super long and unless you are playing with completely green sprouts, kind of dull. I’d much rather load up a list city of mhach or dun scaith for a moogle fun run.

I've taken a little time to realize why I didn't like the story content in XIV and I realized in EW, it boiled down to literally explaining the theme and mystery outright. Then I realized it's been doing that since StB and then I just gave up. Answers literally did not need to be explained further, the ascians didn't need to be explained further than the hints that was shown by Emet, we didn't need to literally go to the past. We didn't need to explain the human spirit, Omega already alluded to it plenty and its obvious through symbolism. The mysticism of a lot of things are dead and this shit makes me hate the concept of lore and world building. People abuse it like this to just pretend to make mysteries and then straight up just sit down and over explain every little detail when in reality the explanation is as simple as any anime moral that's as old as time. It doesn't help that a lot of aspects surrounding the game itself was worse, game is easier, less decision making, less RPG elements, and if the context around the game sucks, and even the music is mediocre, I just have no idea what XIV even has to offer anymore. It can barely ride by with its own identity and has to shoe horn in references at every corner. It was cute in Omega, and I'm just bored of it now, especially when its just forced into the game with the least engaging characters on the planet. The game isn't designed to be multiplayer, endgame barely matters and when it does, it's just a very small selection of bosses that you need to traverse mountains of content that's essentially single player only to even consider or access. It wants to be a single player game so bad and all your time is dedicated to it's artistry and context, but the only lasting impression is a severely obvious writer's block halfway through StB, and gameplay so detached from the multiplayer concept I'm surprised it's still even considered an MMO.
