You will need to grind to unlock all 50 logos action just to start it, then 6 more in Hydatos. And to unlock the final stage you will have to do Baldesion Arsenal multiple times.

You will eventually realize that designers are extremely limited not by what they could do to a class but what by a class can do.
To make actual classes and not just glorified rotations sold as 'jobs' they'd need to change so much that it would be called a sequel instead.
I get this, which is why I'm not one of the morons asking for 1s GCDs, fast-reaction procs, spiky damage, CC, elemental damage types, talent trees, a "healing rotation" like healers from other MMOs etc
But there was a time in this game, when SCH had multiple DoTs. It worked fine and it could work again, it doesn't conflict with the current encounter design. I just want that back, and some other changes that would also fit with the existing game design. The devs chose to give healers all the same dumb rotation because they thought it would help get people to play them, I think it's a mistake and is doing the opposite.
i've said it before and i'll say it again, the most miserable experience i've had in ffxiv was healing the current tier, the fact that healers are the way they are and damage is the way it is makes it overall just unfun
if your co-healer is awful you may run out of heals and you got nothing else for it other than to spam gcd heals, this would be mitigated by some sort of healing rotation, the mp you waste on gcd healing is WAY TOO HIGH to ever have gcd healing be viable in panic scenarios, which forces you to save your ogcds, the synergy between healers is a thing that players coordinate not something the game has by default (this is also a flaw imo)
i played healer during the last tier of stormblood and it was very fun but right here i hate it, i agree with you and i'm sure that if you want to play healer you have some motives outside of the jobs being fun to play because they objectively aren't

You need enough ilvl for the expansion, beyond that it doesn't matter, there's a stat cap that effectively works as a level sync. Having lots of GP is useful though. If you're wearing lv90 gear then you can definitely catch everything up to ShB and 99% of EW fish too

I would cum buckets if the devs actually added a personal LB to each job as a lvl 100 capstone skill, they are all pretty much done and ready for the taking from PvP but we all know that they won't do it since it would make autists with a hardon for raidlogging cry bloody murder (which seems to be atleast 30% of the raiders on JP servers).
As things are going currently, we will never see any soulful job mechanics ever again since the devs design this shit to be easy to manage rather than fun to play with now, if the two new jobs we get in 7.0 aren't designed like SB jobs then we know for sure that they have given up on ever trying to innovate with the game again and are fine with just coasting along with what they know until the game shuts down.

I get this, which is why I'm not one of the morons asking for 1s GCDs, fast-reaction procs, spiky damage, CC, elemental damage types, talent trees, a "healing rotation" like healers from other MMOs etc
But there was a time in this game, when SCH had multiple DoTs. It worked fine and it could work again, it doesn't conflict with the current encounter design. I just want that back, and some other changes that would also fit with the existing game design. The devs chose to give healers all the same dumb rotation because they thought it would help get people to play them, I think it's a mistake and is doing the opposite.
i've said it before and i'll say it again, the most miserable experience i've had in ffxiv was healing the current tier, the fact that healers are the way they are and damage is the way it is makes it overall just unfun
if your co-healer is awful you may run out of heals and you got nothing else for it other than to spam gcd heals, this would be mitigated by some sort of healing rotation, the mp you waste on gcd healing is WAY TOO HIGH to ever have gcd healing be viable in panic scenarios, which forces you to save your ogcds, the synergy between healers is a thing that players coordinate not something the game has by default (this is also a flaw imo)
i played healer during the last tier of stormblood and it was very fun but right here i hate it, i agree with you and i'm sure that if you want to play healer you have some motives outside of the jobs being fun to play because they objectively aren't

You need enough ilvl for the expansion, beyond that it doesn't matter, there's a stat cap that effectively works as a level sync. Having lots of GP is useful though. If you're wearing lv90 gear then you can definitely catch everything up to ShB and 99% of EW fish too
I got the top purple scrip gear for EW so I think that should be enough? I was just worried if I need to do shit like eating food before fishing or shit like that

I would cum buckets if the devs actually added a personal LB to each job as a lvl 100 capstone skill, they are all pretty much done and ready for the taking from PvP but we all know that they won't do it since it would make autists with a hardon for raidlogging cry bloody murder (which seems to be atleast 30% of the raiders on JP servers).
As things are going currently, we will never see any soulful job mechanics ever again since the devs design this shit to be easy to manage rather than fun to play with now, if the two new jobs we get in 7.0 aren't designed like SB jobs then we know for sure that they have given up on ever trying to innovate with the game again and are fine with just coasting along with what they know until the game shuts down.

you need to think of these in terms of team composition, you don't want to bring too much rdps and then suffer from everyone having low damage, adps is there to make up for the lack of rdps and rdps is there to make up for the lack of adps
