meanwhile in NA and EU only around 10% of characters clear (except for Crystal with only 5% clear rate because B*lmung is there)

Van Cleef in classic was more difficult than every single dungeon in ffxiv. And players did it at lvl 14. Zoomers just suck at games.

granted i did enjoy WoW TBC era heroics, stuff like mechanar, shadowlabs, steamvaults, the ones that actually took some modicum of skill/preparation/coordination, like you actually had to know how to LoS mobs or CC a couple mobs for a few pulls. The only dungeon that SORT OF had that in XIV was Aurum Vale, and they nerfed the shit out of it to make it a complete fricking joke, though people still frick up by pulling the whole first room.

there's a pretty strict code of conduct expected of players in japanese MMOs or something apparently, like a decade ago square enix had people test playing DQX from america and such and they had a guide specifically how to interact with japanese players (although they mainly indicated not to interact with them as much as possible because you're testing not just playing for fun) which had specific phrases/actions to do if a player healed your or other things to maintain that expected conduct

JP duty finder actually takes raids seriously and obviously PF as well. If there is a guide out already (which only takes one day), everyone expects you to have read or watched it and it has to be the JP strat.
If you're queuing for DF you're expected to know it inside out with little to no mistakes.
I quit the game already but I pugged in a JP server for the entirety of Shadowbringers. I got two week clears and I just reclear in DF and you know what usually fricks up DF raids? The fricking english speaking people. Australians, SEABlack folk, and maybe the odd american/euro.
If you matched with them or they join through the party finder you know it's just going to disband after wasting time for 3 attempts.
yeah im from Aus and when I started you had to play on the JP server with no Aus server, I was in for a rude awakening going into DF and people expecting me to know instead of me just blasting, I quickly got into shipshape and made sure I looked up guides beforehand for everything as to not let the team down
then when I played again on the Aus server release NO ONE knew wtf to do and it was such whiplash from the JP server, literal fricking mongloids every run and having to constantly tard wrangle people
the JP server really was heaven in comparison and the standards they had for play were so much better if you weren't an incompetent frickwit
i also like to play games and having to look up things before playing the game so that bugmen and neets can farm their virtual currency faster

Tank single-target rotation usually consists of ~10 buttons, healer gets 5. Prune some of the oGCD heals and give us more damage spells, especially spells that interact with the healing kit in interesting ways.
Ramping up the incoming damage in easy content would be welcome too, but the devs are reluctant to alienate noobs by doing that.

To illustrate how bad healers feel to play, here's one of my p12s part 1 kills from August. I play Sage quite safely, using GCD shields that aren't strictly necessary but ensure our safety in case I or my co-healer fricks up, or a dps forgets to mit.
Some stuff feels good, like combining physis+panhaima for thicker shields, timing kerachole to cover 2 mechanics, healing the party to full with zoe+pneuma, prepull holos in some fights. But once you've figured out the cool healing tricks you're using on the heavy mechanics it returns to being horribly boring.
Toxikon is supposed to be an answer to Scholar's Ruin 2 as a mobility attack, same potency as a full cast attack but it costs stacks you can only get from a shield breaking vs. Scholar having free use of a weaker Ruin at all times
Phlegma is twice as strong as Dosis on your actual target and very slightly weaker than Dosis on all surrounding targets, and can also be used while moving

I do unreals and extremes, but nothing more challenging than that. I've never thought about friending someone I met in PF. I would ask my FC mates but my FC is all but dead. The leader logs on now and then just to keep the house from being demolished.
Plenty of people like me who check PF every 15 minutes looking for something to do. Put up a party finder honestly during peak hours e.g. "[Practice] From start, bring waymarks" and you'll be able to run. You'll probably have some tards in the party but also some helpers. And if you don't manage to clear you'll at least have learned a lot and can clear in your next PF. If there's someone particularly friendly and helpful, make friends and ask them for help next time too.

They're doing it as a test for when DT releases so they can shove people in the quieter data centre instead of waiting for hours as during the first couple of weeks it's the story you're playing for. That's why it's JP/ EU/ NA one way to OCE DC as that's the quietest one.

Primal hasn't been the gamers DC since end of ShB. With DC travel now being a thing, a lot of chads moved to Crystal for the social aspects since they can now just raid wherever the want to.

I would probably avoid Balmung and Mateus as far as crystal is concerned. Other than that just try to find something that won't be overly crowded.
And I guess if someone can list any South American heavy servers that you might want to avoid. I know they're generally on primal. Not sure if they're shitters but I can't imagine language barriers are fun either way.

It's for when DT releases and if the queues are too high in NA/EU/ JP then people will be put into OCE so they can play the expansion on launch. That's it, of course Arthars wouldn't be able to grasp that, as a raid Black person his brain is melted.

granted i did enjoy WoW TBC era heroics, stuff like mechanar, shadowlabs, steamvaults, the ones that actually took some modicum of skill/preparation/coordination, like you actually had to know how to LoS mobs or CC a couple mobs for a few pulls. The only dungeon that SORT OF had that in XIV was Aurum Vale, and they nerfed the shit out of it to make it a complete fricking joke, though people still frick up by pulling the whole first room.

I quit the game already but I pugged in a JP server for the entirety of Shadowbringers. I got two week clears and I just reclear in DF and you know what usually fricks up DF raids? The fricking english speaking people. Australians, SEABlack folk, and maybe the odd american/euro.
If you matched with them or they join through the party finder you know it's just going to disband after wasting time for 3 attempts.

then when I played again on the Aus server release NO ONE knew wtf to do and it was such whiplash from the JP server, literal fricking mongloids every run and having to constantly tard wrangle people
the JP server really was heaven in comparison and the standards they had for play were so much better if you weren't an incompetent frickwit
i also like to play games and having to look up things before playing the game so that bugmen and neets can farm their virtual currency faster

Cleric stance sounds good on paper because you're wearing nostalgia goggles and healers are braindead easy with zero dps mechanic and too many healings they never use, which renders them complete garbage to play.
But you're just desperate anything remotely fun at this point if you actually miss this piece of shit with how fast paced current content plays.

Tank single-target rotation usually consists of ~10 buttons, healer gets 5. Prune some of the oGCD heals and give us more damage spells, especially spells that interact with the healing kit in interesting ways.
Ramping up the incoming damage in easy content would be welcome too, but the devs are reluctant to alienate noobs by doing that.

To illustrate how bad healers feel to play, here's one of my p12s part 1 kills from August. I play Sage quite safely, using GCD shields that aren't strictly necessary but ensure our safety in case I or my co-healer fricks up, or a dps forgets to mit.
Sage looks so insanely good yet it feels so braindead to play... how could they frick it up this badly
Some stuff feels good, like combining physis+panhaima for thicker shields, timing kerachole to cover 2 mechanics, healing the party to full with zoe+pneuma, prepull holos in some fights. But once you've figured out the cool healing tricks you're using on the heavy mechanics it returns to being horribly boring.
I love sage, but man this is an issue with all healers to a dumb degree.

Toxikon is supposed to be an answer to Scholar's Ruin 2 as a mobility attack, same potency as a full cast attack but it costs stacks you can only get from a shield breaking vs. Scholar having free use of a weaker Ruin at all times
Phlegma is twice as strong as Dosis on your actual target and very slightly weaker than Dosis on all surrounding targets, and can also be used while moving

I do unreals and extremes, but nothing more challenging than that. I've never thought about friending someone I met in PF. I would ask my FC mates but my FC is all but dead. The leader logs on now and then just to keep the house from being demolished.
Plenty of people like me who check PF every 15 minutes looking for something to do. Put up a party finder honestly during peak hours e.g. "[Practice] From start, bring waymarks" and you'll be able to run. You'll probably have some tards in the party but also some helpers. And if you don't manage to clear you'll at least have learned a lot and can clear in your next PF. If there's someone particularly friendly and helpful, make friends and ask them for help next time too.

Good joke. The reason why so many FFXIV content creators are dog shit is because they expect the game to do the work for them and they can sit and play it, adding nothing of value and get popular. They're lazy, incredibly lazy.

Primal hasn't been the gamers DC since end of ShB. With DC travel now being a thing, a lot of chads moved to Crystal for the social aspects since they can now just raid wherever the want to.

I would probably avoid Balmung and Mateus as far as crystal is concerned. Other than that just try to find something that won't be overly crowded.
And I guess if someone can list any South American heavy servers that you might want to avoid. I know they're generally on primal. Not sure if they're shitters but I can't imagine language barriers are fun either way.

They're got some pretty grand ideas of what they think the game will be and I don't want to crush that vision in case they end up liking the game for other reasons after trying.
