I think the elpis version of Emet will be updated rather quickly but you're right that the Shadowbringers version is probably not gonna be upgraded until 7.4 with Stomrblood shit not being until 7.5.

adps has padding from raid buffs so it will be shit if you get like whm/sge/blm/sam/mch unholy combo, it's way too dependent on your comp and not your own performance
rdps/ndps takes away the padding from buffs but then now you cannot tell if you're properly pooling resources for raid buffs or just freestyling
Well it's WAR so freestyling seems like the way. Also I guess it doesn't take into account mitigation use that let healers DPS more.
i don't play war so i don't know how much meter and charges you can pool for 2mins, but some basic stuff like wasting all your gapclosers and having an empty meter before 2min buffs is probably a sign of a bad war

Making a new MMO would be moronic because they'd run into the problem of trying to get the current XIV playerbase to transfer to the new game. They already experienced why that doesn't work with the attempted transition from XI to XIV 1.0. So why frick it all up when they have a loyal userbase for XIV and can just put more stuff on the cash shop?
I guess my main reason for asking is because how crappy the engine they're using is and how limited it's become every year in what they could do with a more up to date engine.

Like, we get the idea of Zodiark having been sundered into pieces in Shadowbringers which is why they cause calamities in the Shards, sure, but the Ascian's goal is there fairly early on, you just don't know why Zodiark is such a big deal to them or why they do what they do to cause the calamities and how they'd bring Zodiark back.
They first refer to it as the Ardor and later 'dimensional compression' and don't really go beyond that.

Because new things of a expansion being revealed helps players extrapolate the future of the game and manage their resources accordingly. I'm not a doomposter, but so far this seams bleak to me, in the sense I think I'm no longer who this game is for, and while I don't feel entitled to be pandered to, it's still disheartening.
