I had to wait 50 minutes. Considering as tank you have zero competition to roll on Fending, it's a fair tradeoff to have a long queue, as opposed to every other content in the game.

In the new EX fight, I got litteraly stuck in 2 groups wiping on Meteors. 3rd practice group and the boss was dead in 2 attempts.
Holy frick, Meteors are just THAT easy when you don't have morons in your group. It seems for many people BIG RED is less scary the the little tether, even after chain wiping everyone.
Very cool fight though, super refreshing about how it's more about execution and we don't actually need any macro or waymarks.

On its own, I don't find this one very good, it's too repetitive. But it just felt great to have when the 2nd phase starts and the boss starts repeating hard hitting aoes violently.

I talked about it in some other threads and only got ridiculed but I played on EU, NA and JP DCs and the amount of very loud trannies, furries, homosexuals, communists and militant atheists I've seen in just 5 months on NA is, without hyperbole, about 10 times higher than everyone I've met combined in my 8 years on EU and JP. Americans literally cannot stop talking about their fricking identity politics and they get really, really upset when you don't want to participate in it.
I still really don't like this idea. Even with the Codex it would feel so fricking weird to start from this arc if you're an ew players - you have a bunch of characters interacting with you like they've known you for eons, talking about concept you're supposed to know already, going to places you don't know anything about. It would just turn off new players even more.

I liked the AR conclusion. A bit bittersweet, for me personally it feels like wrapping up the last surviving thread of the old story I liked and saying goodbye to the game and going on new adventures elsewhere.
I still did the MSQ just to finish it and regretted it. The 6.x patches were already godawful but this one has to take the cake. Overall I'm glad I can finally uninstall forever now. Should've done so after finishing 6.0 since it felt like the game was over and it didn't feel that fresh anymore for some time but I still had some hopes.
Shame that there's not a single good MMO out there anymore to scratch my itch, but I suppose that's a good thing. Was a good ride while it lasted, mostly due to some bros I made in the game and none of whom still really play now but we keep in contact anyway. At the end of the day that's what counts.
Yeah, it was kinda obvious. It's less "the world has to rely on itself" but rather a "we fulfilled our purpose and now must an hero and return to the lifestream" kinda deal. It's dumb but funny, and also a bit in keeping with the Ancients' outlook on voluntary death.

the zeromus fight glitched out after it did the tether mechanic and it just stayed on screen, did this happen to anyone else? I couldn't even see the other mechanics or effects going off either
I think I only wiped 2 times in these raids, 1 in the balance boss because someone trolled the mechanic and other in Menphina or Halone because I killed my party with a tank buster
The difficulty is lowered so much, the mechanics aren't complicated like the Ivalice raids and the bosses health are so short compared to the Nier raids
I mean, it's not like he was doing it for a laugh like Zenos. From his perspective he basically had zero options outside of what he was doing - diplomatic ambassadors never visited the 13th, us showing up is from his perspective some deus ex machina bullshit.

It's because they had literal newbies designing the fights for the alliance raid this expansion.
So they probably got cold feet about making anything too hard because then their boss would be unhappy with them and make them go back and nerf it.
Man they could have had a neat mechanic too where you had to look at what she's wearing to know what combination is coming up since the garments clearly come off as she uses their related abilities.

Is launching the game wonky for anyone else? 50/50 whether it just crashes on launch, and when it does work it's slow, takes a while and after clicking start it still stays black (the character info on the sides will show) on the character selection screen for some seconds. In the new EX fight, I got litteraly stuck in 2 groups wiping on Meteors. 3rd practice group and the boss was dead in 2 attempts.
Holy frick, Meteors are just THAT easy when you don't have morons in your group. It seems for many people BIG RED is less scary the the little tether, even after chain wiping everyone.
Very cool fight though, super refreshing about how it's more about execution and we don't actually need any macro or waymarks.

I talked about it in some other threads and only got ridiculed but I played on EU, NA and JP DCs and the amount of very loud trannies, furries, homosexuals, communists and militant atheists I've seen in just 5 months on NA is, without hyperbole, about 10 times higher than everyone I've met combined in my 8 years on EU and JP. I still really don't like this idea. Even with the Codex it would feel so fricking weird to start from this arc if you're an ew players - you have a bunch of characters interacting with you like they've known you for eons, talking about concept you're supposed to know already, going to places you don't know anything about. It would just turn off new players even more.
Well, yeah, but no matter where you started it'd be awkward. There will always be a bunch of characters who act like they're long time friends or that assume you know how the universe works if you're not starting from zero.

I liked the AR conclusion. A bit bittersweet, for me personally it feels like wrapping up the last surviving thread of the old story I liked and saying goodbye to the game and going on new adventures elsewhere.
I still did the MSQ just to finish it and regretted it. The 6.x patches were already godawful but this one has to take the cake. Overall I'm glad I can finally uninstall forever now. Should've done so after finishing 6.0 since it felt like the game was over and it didn't feel that fresh anymore for some time but I still had some hopes.
Shame that there's not a single good MMO out there anymore to scratch my itch, but I suppose that's a good thing. Was a good ride while it lasted, mostly due to some bros I made in the game and none of whom still really play now but we keep in contact anyway. At the end of the day that's what counts.

I think I only wiped 2 times in these raids, 1 in the balance boss because someone trolled the mechanic and other in Menphina or Halone because I killed my party with a tank buster
The difficulty is lowered so much, the mechanics aren't complicated like the Ivalice raids and the bosses health are so short compared to the Nier raids
