The issue brainlet is it’s an 8 second cast, in which time a healer has to do healing mechanics. And the most rdps action a red mage can perform is rezzing a real dps job. If they aren’t willing to do it, there is no reason to bring them along.

The story since SHB is enough to justify the money. That being said, I would be worried about the next game considering the post MSQ story so far. The issue brainlet is it’s an 8 second cast, in which time a healer has to do healing mechanics. And the most rdps action a red mage can perform is rezzing a real dps job. If they aren’t willing to do it, there is no reason to bring them along.

The story since SHB is enough to justify the money. That being said, I would be worried about the next game considering the post MSQ story so far. If the story takes a real nosedive going forward, then it wouldn't get my money as the rest is very mid.

your 2min cycle requires a total of 3 iron jaws, just memorize them

1 during mage's ballad
and 1 during army's paeon
optionally refresh dots right after 2min raging strike idk if that's a potency loss compared to just refreshing it at the end of raging strikes during a 2min window
