The problem with FFXIV is, honestly, the difficulty. Not that games have to be difficult, but an easy MMO not only attracts the worst type of normie, but more importantly it attracts all types of women. Women can't help but cause drama, manipulate for status, cause divisions between men, etc. It always happens. So the game needs a certain level of difficulty to keep women uninterested. This unfortunately means less money in the short term, so it will never happen.
