It's great because their writing for WoW eventually looped around and infected Starcraft and Diablo as well. HotS is exactly the same level of putrid dogshit that we got out of WoD, and the "Kerrigan was totally mind controlled she was a good girl the whole time" nonsense is the template they used for Sylvanas's utterly embarrassing finale in Shadowlands.

You are already a nobody in real life, why would you play a fantasy game to live the fantasy of being a nobody whose hard work is not aknowledged by the lore or the characters in it.

which is weird, because in wow you're the most important guy center of the universe and a nobody at the same time.
you do everything in-game, and you're basically friends with every major character, but when it comes to canon lore, your character basically doesn't exist, and everything you've done is just attributed to someone else

It was okay in classic. You're just a random adventurer, basically a unit from Warcraft who does simple things. One of the many. You helped local villagers, solved mysteries, etc. You did beat some big bad guys but it required a big group of people, arguably an army.
But it all started to change when Blizzard started the whole this new villain is the true mastermind behind everything thing with tons of powercreep. Arguably with BC when you(or maiev) beat Illidan. You are constantly the hero who saved the world many many times but not really there is always someone who actually did it. In legion every paladin had the most famous weapon paladins have ever had, Ashbringer, yet you were still practically a nobody.
It's strange.

That's just a matter of politeness though. You can't have everyone who RPs running around saying they're the one who defeated Endsinger, the one who liberated Doma and Ala Mhigo, the one who's dicking down Y'shtola or G'raha or whoever, or say every sidequest is canonically done by them. It's just common sense that RP wouldn't work if everyone is claiming to be the WoL. It's literally the opposite of protagonist syndrome, everyone is purposefully making themselves out not to be WoL and they expect the same of you, so that no one is loudly yelling "I'm more important than you".

It goes both ways, they shouldn't accept people into the group if they're not going to make any effort to make them feel welcome. If the catch to actually playing the game is to join a cult of personality, I'll just continue playing solo.

With the one I joined their discord was just people posting their modded characters and pretending to act excessively feminine. Was seriously creepy.

When i played, I joined an FC and was told every time I tried to talk about stuff ingame, that all discussion should be done in the FC's discord server. The final straw was when I brought up upcoming patch notes in chat and one of the high ranked trannies used a macro to push my text off-screen and told me that if i wanted to talk about the game I need to go so in the discord.

I immediately left and stopped playing altogether about a few months after that.

If you're not seeing the difference between asking for server info, joining voice for the raid and then leaving again, and joining a media sharing forum that is running 24/7 that you're expected to participate in at all times, there's no hope for you.

The Discord of an FC I joined was completely taken over by one guy constantly posting furry porn and commenting on it, which everyone ignored. It's also the FC I found my spouse in so there's that.

I like everything about her except her run and idle animations. The idle animation is too stiff, she looks like a damn robot, no living person stands like that.
And the run doesn't fit my character at all. An armoured knight that runs like a princess? Very funny but it gets tiresome.

It objectively does. SCH gets some incredibly overcompensated numbers because of the amount of setup it takes to actually do anything with the fairy.

SCH has tools that are much more potent, but that's to compensate for the fact that their toolbox is a hodgepodge mess of shit. SGE is internally consistent and still offers more utility because there's nothing in the game that just outright requires spread critlo to survive.

Does anyone enjoy current heat blast spam and wildfire? I think the PvP version of MCH is the only type of MCH that people actually like.

It's funny, I very much dislike pvp mch because it feels strong, but clunky. The basic attack is piss, you can barely control when you get overheated, you need to be engaged for a fair amount of time to get there in the first place, and to cycle through your tools you have to get up close with bioblaster, which you may not be in a position to do. If heat stacks lasted longer so you could disengage and come back and if you had say a 30s free tool cycle, I'd feel a little better about it.

It blows my mind to see that Wildfire has gone two full expansions without the "[X] potency on target, 60% less on enemies within 5y" treatment.
