As someone who's had to put up with now TWO frivolous account bans, let me actually answer OP's question: The latter. You will have to get an entirely brand new PSN account, email, the works. I am not exactly sure how it will work on the PS5, because I dealt with it exclusively on PC. Once you do get back into the game though, just get a new game, don't shout to the rooftops that you've been banned or that you are the previous occupant of [insert defunct player account here] and you'll be fine.
Bonus pro tip: if you have the dosh lying around, just bypass the shit you've already done and buy the Story/leveling skips. It's worth it. Even if you have to support the Square-Enix israelites

I would report each frivolous kick (up to 10 times a week I think it got) but nothing came of it. Novice Network is a mentor circlejerk by design, you can only get in if you're a mentor yourself or invited by one, and there's limited slots. So what inevitably happens is the loudest trannies turn it into their own personal global chat, only invite their friend's alts and give terrible advice to sprouts (if they answer questions at all)
Also the ratio of mentor to sprout is fricked on every NN I've seen, there's a stricter mentor limit and it still ends up almost 50/50 most times of the day because most of them don't want to invite strangers (i.e. their role as a mentor)
So what you're saying is that you kept actually being annoying to people in novice network, got kicked, tried ratting on the people who kicked you for being annoying and then like you said

NN in almost every DC is a clique of ass tier players who use and abuse it as a really shitty social club that comes with their burger king crown. My particular NN has morons from some FC spamming butter puns all day, but yeah the main thing to get from this is to blame Square for allowing the lowest of the low subhumans to achieve mentor, It should be a vetted process or have slightly harder different ways of achieving it. Crafters could do X amount of expert crafts, raiders could have the current savage tier done/modern ultimates done, pvp could have X or Y titles to even have it up etc.
TLDR: You continuing to spam reports and being continually annoying by coming back got you banned, and you should have seen it coming, blame Square more than the morons who kicked you.

So you can say Black personisraelite in a party with your friends, or you can be an annoying shit to randoms but not technically break any rules, and in either case you won't get banned.

speaking of trial series, what do we have left as far as themed groups of monsters left in the series to turn into trial or the raid series? the four elemental fiends from 1? dragons from 6, but the dragons are all just generic dragons, and we already had one from 6. we've already cleaned out 7 and 8 of reference content, 9 doesn't really have a group of monsters like that and its superboss is already in twice. there's the missing lucavi from FF12, but that would be more appropriate for bozja 2: revenant wings. 13 doesn't really have any series of monsters, the game isn't that popular especially with the fantasy setting with magitek, whereas 13 is modern day with magic. it does have a few cool monster designs as well as its versions of the eidolons. Long Gui might make a good dungeon boss. 15's cool boss designs stuck to existing templates and i can't imagine us going after ifrit again. lol 16 crossover
really the only monsters i can think of that haven't been used already are the fiends from 1, and Sin from 10.

I would only do it if you want to play the next expansion, and therefore need to complete the Endwalker MSQ. Endwalker itself has sucked and there's nothing good at endgame to last you during the content draught.
