I think the implication in ARR is that (on Hydaelyn's orders) Minfilia has the Scions specifically looking for someone with Azem's aetherial glow, which is why such an emphasis is put on their aether goggles early on. So while the WoL is Hilde tier, the Scions didn't just stumble into you blindly - they were looking for Hydaelyn's Champion.

Battle high doesn't exist in CC and no one gives a shit about K/D in it either. All people look at when they see the scoreboard for CC is how long you've pushed the crystal and how much damage/healing you've done.
You are making mountains out of molehills since like you said, the guy getting hit with the proc will most likely die either way, they just won't get killed instantly when stepping out of safezones anymore and it decentivizes players from being greedy and fishing for a free kill on another target since that target needs to be below 95% HP now or have pressure on them to make the proc count
nobody is gonna analyze chainsaw in CC most of the time I would imagine. Probably rather drill or air anchor. I'd rather it be reworked to either an aoe or just more flat damage, and remove the 3% chance of pants shitting.
Anon, the target WILL still die since you are spending most of any of the PvP mode matches below 95% HP anyway. It's not even a nerf in this regard since it will still function the exact same way. They just removed kill fishing, that's literally it since you'll still get a kill on the target you hit since your attack will ALWAYS be the last hit before death thanks to the damage anyway.

Their reasoning for why they removed it is just so shit that even people that doesn't give a shit flew off the handle on that one since it touches on a fundemental misunderstanding that the devs seems to have about how people play the game

It wasn't RNG because you had more than enough Kenki to be able to cast Kaiten every time
The autocrit change and the kenki change were completely unrelated. Autocrit was added because they were worried too much of SAM's potential DPS was tied to crit midares and ogis and parsetrannies complained they had to fish for rng to get a coloured number on a website and that to get it to show up on DNC there had to be a SAM. The numbers work out, nobody cares.
When kaiten was removed they said it was "action bloat" which didn't make sense because

Nobody is claiming it's a giant "dumbing down," people say the button was fun to press and it tied into a satisfying mechanic. They removed it, asked for feedback on its removal, got an overwhelmingly negative response, and then went silent on the issue. Now the pendulum has swung and this game's shit eating fanbase has decided "actually SAM's are the bad guys for giving TOO MUCH feedback how rude of them."

Varshan, Reaper Lady and Kan-e-senna(she asks you at least twice if she can join you on your next adventure during EW) are gonna new companions
G'raha and Estinien are gonna be there for 7.0, G'raha is one of the most popular characters and Estinien's popularity is at its highest. Krile will probably be there too because they've been hinting she wants to get more involved on the frontlines. Twins are 50/50, it'd be weird to have an expansion without at least one of them but maybe YoshiP was lying to us about never aging them up. Y'shtola might be there depending on the plot but if 7.0 isn't about the void or shard hopping I can see her sitting it out to continue doing research. Don't know about Urianger and Thancred because we don't know much about what they're up to right now.

Normally you'll only see it at times like right now where every motherfricker on the planet that plays is trying to log in(you can avoid this problem in the future by logging in early and letting it sit until patching goes live). You can also get the error if your own latency/packet loss is shit.

The problem is that half the party refuse to read up on mechanics ahead of time so we just fricking wipe every time we reach somewhere new and the spend the next half an hr watching vids or asking questions that shouldve been asked weeks ago. We also needed to frontload our gear onto me/other melee dps for that reason.
I lied, we didnt even get to thordan 2, we couldnt get past fricking spears since healers refuse to heal properly so we die before even attacking the fricking spear or to pure of heart.
We even fricking fail dps check on pure of heart. Im not kidding, my dps tanks the moment we kill eyes since i blow ALL my cds finishing off the red eye that has more hp than necessary because some butthole keeps mitigating when theyre not supposed to.

My group was a mix of blues/purples from Savage. We had no problem meeting the mechanics/dps checks of DSR up to last phase (and then 6.2 hit). Just couldn't be arsed to highly optimize Savage when we already were one-shotting it each week after initial prog with the whacked strats we end up using.

If she's gonna job change she oughta get a new outfit, her current one is explicitly Devout/WHM gear.
Yes I imagine that is going to be part of her story arc, her cat hoody was a gift from her adoptive father but now that Eureka has provided some closure on what happened to him and the Isle of Val she's going to move forward and take on a new job (with new armor). We already see this in 6.1 where she's taking a more proactive role as the defacto-leader of the Students of Baldesion and making G'Raha do some fricking work.
Hopefully they go with something a bit less goofy than her FFV Geomancer outfit if that's the class she lands on.

Keep in mind that they'd be using her to sell the class to players as well in this hypothetical scenario, so they'd probably give her something a bit more badass looking.
I could see them going for an FF3 look with the eskimo-hood, which would be in keeping with her current hooded style. Maybe some of the aztecish native elements from tactics if they're going to be doing the new world or mercydia exploration feeling expac.
Honestly I'll just be happy if she gets to escape side quest hell and do some shit for a change. Seems like a weird time for new official art for her though unless she's going to be coming to the forefront sooner than expected.

tank with the lowest damage and the worst personal mitigation for most of the game that's balanced by having 'utility' that is actually not that useful compared to what other tanks bring 90% of the time because surprise, they aren't going to balance a fight around 1 tanks options

every other tank got more of a buff then pld did despite already being ahead meaning that at worst pld hasn't actually changed at all and might've actually gotten worse

PLD is fine strength wise despite the autistic screeching from certain people. The only problem with PLD is that it requires more brain juice to do the good damage than the other tank classes

Scar as dungeon boss, the rest of fiends are trial boss, like Stormblood. Unless they want Golbez or Zemus as final trial then yeah, probably Cagnazzo will be dungeon boss, or Cagnazzo and Rubicante will be dual boss. Or one of them will be solo trial like that one weapon from Shadowbringers. I don't know, anything is possible at this point.

Huh, when they modified Dzemael Darkhold to simplify the second section of the map, they also removed a LOT of the inaccessible parts of the map with all the blocked-off alternate routes, plus the unused area with all the Garlean shit stored.
Meanwhile in Thousand Maws, 95% of the original rooms are still there w/ the extra blockades added to make it fully linear, yet they decide to also redecorate the two 1.0 boss rooms that have never been used in ARR that sat there dormant.
