Censorship. They have avoided putting in revealing armor for years now. Dancer only gets away with it on their class set but everyone else is covered up all the time. If we're lucky we get one swimsuit every 2 years.

Yes, the most revealing armor literally still from the base game. Nothing they put in has ever topped it. They have put in the occasional swimsuit, primarily for summer events but nothing compares to 2.0. Even the lazy cosmetic only crafted glamours have gotten blander over time and they only give us one of those every 8 months anyway.

It's more like they can't come up with anything original or even copy something decent. They always make the most generic looking ugly ass pieces of gear every patch and some aren't even dyable.
It's cool when you find someone who doesn't just slap on 2B leggings like a dumb frick and make something look good but it's rare because there aren't that many creative things you can really do. All catgirls look the same and femra are all troons who put horns on their head.
It's really sad.

this is not true, the reason is because of shared armor. They have to make the armor sets kinda work with all the classes that wear it. SAM players are usually unhappy with the older Striking sets because they look like shit and don't work with the SAM aesthetic.
Which is observably false because the heavy shit they keep giving to aiming classes does not fit Dancer and even Ninja hasn't had anything notable.

XIV in general suffers from the MMO genre epidemic of not giving a shit about the player's time. They time gate shit that should not be time-gated. Just to encourage subs it's a form of inconveniencing an audience for the sake of profits. You can't fricking justify beast tribe quests being time gated. They even nerfed Levequest gil yield.
Why? Because they said it was too much, so they more than sliced it in half when there are fricking degenerates offering erotic role playing services openly in PF and the GMs act like it's cool.

Sorry to break it to you, but it's already as offline as an MMO gets. They're literally fricking adding the ability to play the entire game without other players. You can summon bots to replace them in ARR now, and they're still working on adding it, too.
Shit's really pathetic how they would rather do this than address the major problems within the game itself and that's how casual and inconsequential everything is. They NEVER take a risk with the game and it's getting boring as shit.
Nothing will be uglier than TEA weapons, I cringe every time I see some moron use the GNB or SAM weapon. The only bad DSR weapons are the SHB and EW ones.

I just wear the class gear armors. The 1.0 WAR armor is still the best.
I'm tired of people pretending Stormblood was bad. I've done NG+ and enjoyed it immensely. The only bad thing I can say about it is the "war" cutscenes attacking Doma and Ala Mhigo are kinda shitty and smaller scale than I would have liked, but I'm used to that from jap games.

I guarantee you the people who love Zenos are the same people who think Armstrong did nothing wrong.
I like Zenos because he’s a pretty simple character and he’s supposed to not be like our character, he’s supposed to be like us IRL at least mentally. We play these games just to get better loot and a good fight. We would set up nations to fight each other in game if it meant a big boss battle with epic loot.
The fact that we play this game just to grow stronger and find new enemies is self evident that Zenos was correct and that we are like him.

Nobody likes Zenos. Zenos was the main reason why SB had bad rep. Only the Shadowbringers fujos liked him. And ShB/EW were the worst thing that happend to FFXIV.

I miss them
I was in a Tower earlier and on the first two bosses I managed to pull aggro and die (as a summoner). I mentioned that the tanks should tank and some random DPS was like "you died standing in the fire" and said my dps wasn't good enough to pull aggro. It was just infuriating and there's nothing you can say in response because they obviously made up their mind that this was the situation and there's no correcting them. I got 4 comms at the end so obviously other people noticed but damn, that shit pissed me off. Worst yet as he was leaving he was like "hey don't pull aggro on the way out". I wanted to report him for mentioning my damage but if he was actually using meters he would have seen that I was in fact, top damage pulling aggro.

You really think I'm bragging that I was top damage in an Aglaia? Being top dps in casual content just means you hit your buttons every GCD. Also I was playing Summoner, a job you can sleep walk through.
I meant Tower, not Aglaia. Tower is even easier to be top damage since everyone is mostly on the same playing field with ilevel.

So, this is what true suffering feels like huh. I know, I know I should have used Party Finder but nobody was running the Normal one. So I used Duty Finder. It took 2 hours to clear. Yes, I used my damage essence. Why do the mechanics autokill you? Why do the bosses have so much HP? What the actual frick are the mechanics for the Queen fight? So many questions, so little time.

If you get hit by an avoidable attack you get a debuff that lasts I think 2 minutes. If you get hit by another one before the debuff wears off, you die
Some are like that, but also some of the attacks apply 2 stacks of the debuff meaning it’s an instant Doom proc. Just feels unnecessarily harsh for fairly casual quest content.
What attacks do that? The only insta death mechanic I can think of is hot/cold
There’s a lot, on the first fight I’m pretty sure the ‘four mercy’s’ are an insta doom, along with the knock back attack into the edges of the room. They’re not hard to dodge once you know the fight, but what I’m arguing is it’s just too punishing for first timers and relatively inexperienced players.

In theory, but I never wiped after the first two or three days. It's very forgiving because there's lots of time to res and heal between mechanics

God public Delubrum was always shit. Its the ultimate shitter test in the game. It really proved that just 1% of the playerbase are competent players.
I think after the first 2 weeks I just went to Delubrum Speedruns and never touched public again
It was fun doing the premade ally runs and stomping it all in 15min, and then that same week you do a DF and it takes 45min.
