Yo, can anyone share their experiences on collecting all these relic weapons? I’m doing this too, but real life is getting me away from the game. I have 3 zetas and 2 animas. I’m currently working on dragoon’s resistance weapon in Eureka. How does it feel collecting all these weapons?
Depends on how you felt doing it. I do it for fun and it was a COVID project to get them all. Now I just catch up when there's an update, easy work.
If you do it as background stuff while on call with friends, then it's fine. But if you're doing it because you feel you have to, stop. You don't have to do anything.
I feel pretty empty and unaccomplished doing anything in this game but I still do all the grinds because I have nothing else going on in my life

Yeah DSR is the streamer fight because viewers can pog over the story. The constant interruptions while fighting is absolutely moronic and not enjoyable in the slightest. I blame TEA for this specifically, and TOP also has a long-ass cutscene at the end. UCOB and UWU were perfect because spectacule was interlaced with gameplay.
i mean that one part where you have to stop attacking or Thordan wipes you instead of moving on to the next phase was cool, as opposed to flashy spectacle and cutscenes where its kind of divorced from your button pressing

Relics in FFXIV didn't mean anything after 1.0, they're just stat sticks doomed to be replaced next expansion. At least in 1.0 they had unique effects that made them interesting to use.
I hate the new CC map, I always get into teams who either don't know where the crystal goes or the stage hazards and I get furious. Imagine getting back from work, have a few hours to play and have to wait for the stage to change in order to play better casual CC...

it can be done, but will take longer, people often create parties with whoever they encounter mid instance that seems to be killing things on the same zone as you. Try getting as many people as you can find there, one tanking and pulling everything on the map to be bursted by party is a better leveling experience than solo. Also don't forget weekly challenges

cover is completely worthless. Before it used to give you a defense buff where you only took a portion of the damage the person being covered took I believe. They took that away though, literally no benefit now, I don't even have it on my cross hotbar

But for now I'll just say if there is a big enough disparity it could definitely lead to some jobs being locked out of parties. For example, if Scholar's crit shields still deployed to full effect I don't imagine Sage would see much use in ultimate because of how significant it would reduce the difficulty of the fight and lead to strategies being developed around the assumption you have a scholar in your party.

If these trials are only going to exist as a vehicle for the MSQ and aren't going to be played regularly, you're giving the devs a pretty good excuse to cut content once again and try to reinvent the wheel to get players doing new stuff that may or may not be popular.

Realistically, Bozja/Zadnor should have been an overworld zone and Castrum/Dalriada should have been duties. However fates in ShB and EW are dead, it doesn't help that a good number of items those vendors are selling for gemstones can just be bought off the MB.

Then it would have ended up like the hunt system where people are constantly world traveling to get to the next big NM and crying when they can't get through the queue. It would also split the population between each of the servers, killing the content much earlier.

It only contains tradable mounts and minions from Stormblood. The Demi-Ozma mount is rewarded from an achievement and can't be traded.

You should just buy the sand with scrips. Also the relic as a whole takes like 24k tomestones, which is why its so easy to do nowadays compared to the other non-EW relics.

How fast can I get white crafting scrips? Is it expensive to do? I tried doing it with Gathering scrips at first but those felt really slow and I'm not a fan of sitting around waiting for unspoiled nodes.

I'm so done with 5.3, these post 6.0 patches have felt like pure fricking filler and only Barb EX was fun. Island is rotting at full queue, and I only log in to keep my house and FC online recently status.
Yoshida already said these relics will be way less grindy than previous ones.
Though it would be cool if all the steps aren't the exact same thing.

Can deep dungeon weapons go in the armoire? If I delete them can I buy them from the calamity salvager? I want to collect at least all of the Padjali gear for achievements but I'm not keen on losing that much of my inventory to them.
i don't think so. I think armoire is only for event items, for whatever reason
the glam systems needs a revamp really badly
